Ashley held her breath as he heard him speak. She smiled, she wanted to say something but nothing came to mind. She felt like she needed to say how she felt but instead she looked at the ground. At that moment she watched as Ryan jogged over to Alivia and Kaiden. She felt a little hurt. Alivia could have any guy she wanted and she knew which guy Alivia wanted.... Ryan... And by him running over to Alivia she knew that he as well wanted her. She looked away as she felt a tear, I thought I had a chance... God i'm stupid, She thought to herself she knew that Alivia belonged with Ryan, but on some level she had hoped he was different. In fact he was probably telling all this stuff to her, just to tease her.
She walked on a head as she passed the buss driver. She didn't care where she went just as long as she went somewhere... That's when she saw it... She had to take a double take.. She thought she had seen someone staring at her and the group from the woods. She had seen it right? Of course she did.. he was still there. She felt her gaze over him.. he looked dirty.. like he had been in the woods for days, almost years.. he was also wearing dirty clothing, his pants were even a little... coated with something... what was it? It almost looked like... no it couldn't be could it? she thought to herself. I looks like Blood She watched as his gaze fell on her. Instantly her face turned pale and her eyes wide as she saw him smile at her.... but as the group got closer he vanished... Just walked away.
"No problem cupcake." He replied sarcastically to Alivia. He liked her flirtiness but there was no way he was going to try and get close to her. She wasn't his type and he just liked being somewhat friends with her. He picked up the suitcase observing that it wasn't that heavy. He once again asked himself why he was doing this for a girl he wasn't even interested in. In a sense he felt that carrying her suitcase would improve his social status with her. The closer he was with her the closer he could get to her cute popular friends. Wow am I that low? He thought to himself. He wasn't purposely trying to use her but he loved meeting cute girls who she happened to know a lot of. Before he started feeling guilty he picked up her suitcase the rest of the way and walked off the bus.
When Kaiden set Alivia's suitcase on the ground he saw Terri talking to Benji and immediately got a bit jealous. Maybe she likes Benji. I should have a chance with her though shouldn't I? I mean she always blushes when I look at her and she is super flirty when I am around. He stopped his thoughts. But very soon they started up again. Ugh, stop it Kaiden. You are the guy who doesn't like any girl. You are the flirt. The ladies man. He paused he deep thoughts to take time to laugh at himself again. His disappointment in Terri possibly liking Benji instead of him caused him to roll up one of his long sleeves of his shirt to reveal a permanent bruise. That bruise was the reason he ran away from home. The reason he despised his father. He rolled back down his sleeve and looked up. Kaiden went to go grab Alivia's suitcase again when he saw Ashley in a deep daze looking towards the woods. He walked over to her and tried to see what she was seeing. "Ashley, what are you looking at?"
Alivia was forcing a smile to Kaiden, and could tell they were both using each other for different things. She could sense a mutual secret they were sharing, that was to remain unspoken. Sort of a you do this for me, I do that for you. She'd be telling her girlfriends about him. Her eye caught sight of Ryan, who had approached her and Kaiden. She was lost in a trance, though, noting Ashley saw something. When Ryan's voice finally reached her ears she turned to look at him. "Oh, I'm not mad." Alivia's voice was somewhat sarcastic, and she found herself getting aggravated that he didn't know what she was pissed about. Jealousy was no doubt Alivia's weakness. Her eyes were traveling from Ryan to Ashley, as she tried desperately to get Ashley's attention to make her the jealous one. Alivia coughed loudly, in hopes she'd look over. When Alivia thought she had the necessary attention, she practically threw herself at Ryan, grabbing onto the back of his neck and kissing him on the lips. Don't reject it don't reject it... she kept saying to herself, hoping to achieve a rise out of Ashley.

She looked away for one moment... her world crashed in that moment. Alivia had coughed making her look over to her to make sure she was ok, and she watched as she kissed Ryan. Right there she swore she felt her heart break she couldn't believe it.. She didn't let show she was hurt, instead she smiled. Ashley looked away again she didn't want to know if Ryan had returned the butt no dough in her mind said he didn't. She had known it was a matter of time before they were together. She looked down at the ground only for a moment and then over to Kaiden. "Nothing, come on." She mumbled as she followed the bus driver down the road. She was trying to hold back the tears, but only one slipped away.
Ryan inhaled deeply when Alivia kissed him. He knew that it was just a show to make Ashley upset. He had no idea what to do either. He kissed back, on instinct, and then pulled back, and stared down at her. "Well... Erm, what was that for?" he asked, grinning. He glanced at Ashley though, and saw the hurt, even through her smile, and he winced. Why did he have to have two girls liking him? It was complicated, especially since he liked both of them back. He glanced at Ashley and then back to Alivia and then down at the ground. He wanted to talk to someone who he was sure didn't like him. He glanced around. Not Benji and Terri, they seemed to be talking to each other. Kaiden was with Ashley, and the gothic kids wouldn't talk to him. Perfect...
"Erm, ya know, I'm going to go talk to the bus driver," Ryan smiled weakly, and then jogged over to the bus driver. "Hey..." he wrapped an arm around the man's shoulder.
"What? Oh, hey, kid," Mr.Smotherman shrugged.
"You doin' good?" Ryan struggled for conversation.
"Yup," Mr.Smotherman sighed.
It wasn't working. Ryan's head was pounding. He needed to talk to someone who would actually talk... Or just not talk to anyone. He remembered the iPod in his back pocket, and pulled it out, and stuffed the earbuds in his ears, and turned the music all the way up. Peace, and Three Days Grace. Perfect. Until someone came and talked to him.
Terri laughed. "How does it make it worse? You can't tell if you're upside down or not!" she shook her head. "Well, I am a big chicken when it comes to that kind of stuff." She giggled, shrugging. She checked over her shoulder again, and let her jaw dropped when she saw Alivia and Ryan locking lips. A surprised squeal escaped from her mouth, and she tapped Benji on the arm. "Look!" she cried, pointing at the two. She sighed. "Don't tell anyone, but I like Ryan...and Kaiden, for the record, but...I should've known they were together. I mean, head cheerleader always gets the star of the football team..." Terri whispered. She let her shoulders droop. "It's so hard to be so cheery all the time, you know?"
"Ryan!" Alivia called after him, after he deserted her. "Hmph!" She angrily forced all her weight down as she plopped onto the steps of the bus, shaking the entire automobile. She propped her elbows on her knees, and head in her palms, looking down at the hem of her dress and the dirt below the steps. What a jerk! He just left me like that! I'm head cheerleader, god damnit! She rested her chin on one hand now, and the other arm collapsed and hung off her knee. The wind blew her hair in her face, but she was just barely able to see a dark figure in the distance, by some trees. Alivia squinted, brushed her hair back, and stared hard. "What the..." Feeling rather creeped out, she stood instantly and stared with the deer-in-headlights look present.

She knew she couldn't stay away from him.. even if he wanted to date Alivia, she would just have to deal with it, Ashley was friends with Ryan and would like to keep it that way. She stopped and turned around and watched as he walked over to the bus driver and put his arm around him, then take out his ipod.
Ashley was the one to sneak up and talk to him. She tapped him lightly on the shoulder. She gave a smile as they walked down the road. "So, tried yet?" She asked him with a smile. "Need that piggy back ride?" She said rolling her eyes, she knew it was cheesy but she didn't want to talk about him and Alivia they would date fine, but she was determined to keep him as a friend. She looked up at the bus driver "Hey sir" She said with a wave.
"Hey, kid," Mr.Smotherman smiled at Ashley.
Ryan jumped, and turned quickly when Ashley tapped him. He muted his iPod and then grinned. "Nope, I'm fine. I'm tired of other things, but it's all emotionally, not physically," he said. He then shrugged, and glanced over at Terri, who had yelped when Alivia kissed him, and then he glanced at Alivia, who was pouting. There were three girls who liked him? He felt his left eye twitch, and then he groaned.
"You can come with me if you want," he said to Ashley, and then jogged over to Alivia. "Alivia, don't be pissed at me... We have to go... You can't sit around and pout," he said. He then heard a groaning sound from the woods behind him, and he turned around.
He saw a dirty looking guy, in his thirties probably, staring directly at him. The guy was smirking, and he had either blood or dirt all over the front of his overalls.
"Hello?" Ryan arched a brow, and then the guy ran off. Ryan tilted his head. "The hell?" he glanced at Alivia and Ashley with a questioning look, but shrugged.
"Alivia, come on," he turned back to Alivia, offering a hand down to her.
Benji grinned at Terri when she admitted who she liked. "Don't tell anyone, but me and Ryan are cousins, and he isn't obsessed with Alivia or anything thing like that. I see him a lot, actually. He doesn't talk about relationships. He says it's too complicated for him," Benji explained. "Your chances with either of the guys you like aren't ruined. I actually think Kaiden might like you," Benji smiled, after catching Kaiden glancing in their direction. Benji then glanced at Ryan, who looked really stressed. "I- I wouldn't bother Ryan right now, though. He's having problems with Ashley and Alivia," he added.
She laughed as she ran after Ryan back to the bus. They were going to lose time because of this. She saw why Ryan had gone back.... Alivia. Well duh her mind told her, they were dating. She nodded at her "It's time to go almost everyone has left already" She shouted as she looked back after the group, it also looked like they were not going to stop for anyone who was left behind. She looked back after Ryan and Alivia, and then the group. She was in the middle all alone.. the group ahead, Ryan and Alivia behind her. She looked at them, Ryan was looking at something but she couldn't tell what it was. She squinted as she looked there way, the sun was starting to set, so it was just in the right spot. Suddenly she was brought back to reality as she heard a noise in the bush. She gave a shutter thinking about what she had seen in the woods.
Just as she started to think about it she felt it again, the shiver.. Like someone was staring at her. She turned around and noticed that no one was there. She scanned the tree trunks until yet again she saw him. He was staring back, she realized. Straight at her, he was looking her up and down. Like he was studding her. She wanted to scream or something but she had no idea what would happen. He was almost right next to her, like he could almost reach out and grab her... had that been what Ryan saw? She looked at him. "Think you could help us?" She said pointing to were the bus driver had walked off to. Just then she realized the bus driver was not in front of her like he had been before.. Most of this kids that were on the bus were gone as well. She was taking to much time sitting here. "What do you want?" she whispered under her breath as she looked back at him. As if he had heard her he looked at her with a smile showing Grimy teeth and his blood red tongue....
"RYAN" She screamed out as he shook his head, from side to side. She couldn't help it. She had no idea what else to do. She slowly backed up from where he was as he gave her a sharp look and then smiled and ran off...
((OOC: I'm not going to post anymore after this... At lest not until other people post. If someone falls behind, comment or sMail me for a summary, please don't drop out.))
Ryan gasped and then looked in Ashley's direction when she yelled for him. He grabbed Alivia and pulled her up with one arm, suitcases and all. "We're falling behind," he mumbled. He then ran over to Ashley, still carrying Alivia. "What is it?" He looked around. It was getting dark now, and he could barely see, but he saw the guy. The one who had stared at him earlier. He put Alivia down on her feet, and picked up a rock. "Go away, you filthy bastard!!!!" He snapped in a booming voice, before throwing the rock as hard as he could.
The rock bounced off the man's head, breaking skin. Blood squirted out, before the man stood up, and ran off.
Ryan gagged, and then snarled, putting one arm around Ashley, and the other around Alivia. "He's gone," he mumbled. His eyes didn't leave the spot where the man was though.
"What is it?" Benji was by his side now.
"Nothing, Benny. Just... Some redneck with bad intentions," he mumbled, glaring.
"Is he gone?" Benji asked, concern in his eyes.
Ryan nodded.
"Kids, I think it's time for us to stop. It's dark," Mr.Smotherman said, stopping.
"Are you fucking insane?!?!" Ryan snapped, turning around, letting go of Ashley and Alivia.
"No... It's night, and I think it's time that we take a break," Mr. Smotherman said, sitting down on the ground, not far from the dirt road.
Ryan rolled his eyes. There was no sense in arguing. "Okay, but me and Benny aren't sleeping, are we?" Ryan looked at Benji.
"Uh, nope. We'll watch the woods," Benji smiled weakly.
"That's my boy," Ryan punched Benji playfully in the arm.
"Yeah," Benji sighed, and watched the woods. It wasn't going to be a fun night, but he wanted to help Ryan protect the others, so he would.
Kaiden was walking head when he realized only the bus driver was with him. He turned and realized that everyone was still back by the bus. He jogged back and was planning on what he was going to say to them to get everyone moving. "Hey you guys! Let's go! We have to get moving before it starts getting to late." He could start to feel his throat getting dry so he pulled out his water bottle from his backpack and took a sip. After he had satisfied his thirst he threw the water bottle back in his backpack.
The sun was becoming lower in the sky. Kaiden realized it was getting later than he thought. He was becoming a bit nervous as the time got later. He had seen many horror movies and this is how most of them started. This was going to be a long walk and he wouldn't be able to make it through unless he had someone to talk to. That is when he made the decision to walk over and ask Terri. She was really easy to talk and she had good friend qualities. Maybe she was worth pursuing after all. Kaiden wasn't the relationship type of guy, mainly because he was afraid of getting. That is what made his father so abusive. His mother left his father for another man just after having Kaiden. Kaiden's father was very obsessive of Kaiden's mother. So he took his anger out on Kaiden when Kaiden's mother left his father. Those memories would never leave his mind and always haunt his future. But he through all if that out of his mind and walked over to Terri.
"Hey Terri. We are gonna get going so I was wondering if you wanted to walk with me? I need someone to talk to if I am going to survive this god-forsaken journey."
"I think I'll stay her-" She was ripped from her seat on the bus, purse catching up to her and slapping her in the side as it swung from her arm. "What the hell!-" She saw the man again and hurried with Ryan and Ashley, but just as she gained her footing back she was jerked again by Ryan. She knew he was trying to protect them, but this was getting tiresome. Alivia huffed and ran ahead of them, angrily stomping. Queen of drama, clearly. She made her way to the front of the 'herd' and flipped her hair back.

Terri was a little surprised when they saw the man the first time, but thought nothing of it. She turned when she heard Kaiden, and smiled immediately. The girl turned to Benji, gave him a quick thumbs-up, and hurried to walk with her crush. "Yeah... I just hope that guy will stay away--" she began to reply, until she heard Ryan yell. The brunette gasped silently, and instinctively veered closer to Kaiden. "Ohmygod." She watched the weird man run away with a fresh head wound and bit her thumbnail. "What if he comes back?" Terri asked, voice wavering.
