I agree with the others who think that tracking the support goal monthly makes better sense.

I was a little unsettled when I first saw the bar, but when I read the details about it I immediately felt better. It doesn't bother me much now aside from causing a slight, infrequent twinge of concern over whether or not I should buy more CSC.

I like the bar, but I also think it should be a monthly one. If only because I don't think users are online all day or online enough during different portions of the day, so chances are they'll only be seeing a certain percentage range daily. Like I'm on during subeta's morning hours, never during the evening ones, so all I'm seeing is like 15% each day when I log in and I have no clue how better it gets. A monthly bar would solve this and I think make a better sense of accomplishment for those donating, but that's just me, and I can't speak for everyone that does actually donate. Plus anxiety would lessen if it was a monthly bar, right?

Yeah I have to say the daily bar is pretty pointless when you're obviously going to have spikes when new cs items (particularly stuff like collections, boutique sets etc) and sales are going on. A monthly bar would more accurately take into account these peaks and troughs.

I was unfamiliar with how Reddit did this until now.. I see that on their bar they also include the previous day's results... If this remains a daily and not monthly thing, any possibility of getting that as well? For those of us that are not on late in the Subeta day it would be nice to know if the goal was met.

what about having a daily AND a monthly bar? the above one will be daily, the bottom one monthly

this way people are not sort of dissapointed by the small bar (in the beginning of the month) when we have only the monthly up

You're supposed to hover on the question mark and it'll say: "This bar represents the amount of credit purchases we need daily to continue running Subeta."

Hovering over it for me does nothing at all. O.o

Yeah I don't have anything when I hover. Maybe something I have CSS for but nothing should effect the hovers. Strange.

Perhaps this is mentioned somewhere; if so and someone could direct me it'd be great. I'm curious how GA subscriptions play into the bar :) I do a subscription every 3 months...when it renews, do I just give a boost to the bar on that day? I'm just curious :)

Does anyone know how often the bar updates? Does it update on the hour, or is it less frequent than that?

Is it supposed to reset at 11pm each night?

I donated (what was for me) a tidy sum earlier this afternoon, and the bar didn't budge. But I checked a couple hours later, and it was well past the halfway mark. So either my donation was merely a pittance in the Subeta world (a possibility, for sure), or it takes at least a few hours for it to update. I know that big leap forward on the progress bar couldn't have just been my donation, so it updates...every 3 hours? 4? Or is it instantaneous? Let's take bets!

I really wish we had at least a vague idea of Subeta's "daily" goal. Otherwise I have to wonder if what I gave was just a drop in the bucket.

Since I usually log in at 1am subeta time, the bar is always in the red for me :P So it would be nice to see yesterdays result somehow.
