Could we finish the little bit of island plot?

I know all good things must end...but I love this camping trip...who knew we'd have a reading drive?? Surprise! Well can we "pause" the camping trip for a bit? The drive might be over this weekend...haha maybe we all eat that strange big fish and get a sleeping sickness till next week when we all wake up SLIM...

We should finish up the island plot though yes....... And yes we can keep the RP camping thing going at a later date too.

Just got back and tickled to see that our camping might continue :D

We can always see what everyone else thinks too......ummm there's loads of story right where we are just camping....and who knows what could happen next.....LOL it's all in fun......some great imagination and no timeline so there's no rush.I loved doing this with Frieda and i'm sure she'd be happy to see more going on too.Maybe we can organize it so we can throw a few snowballs at each other and maybe a mystery can be woven into the story somewhere.......:) :)Hello

- sounds great to me...my only regret is I can't be on more - I'm enjoying it so much...my pesky job interferes with my fun!!! ...you and sure know how to put on a fine camping trip/role play. I am headed out to a high school football game...be back later to see what's happening...SNOWBALLS! HAHA wishing I had one now we are having some kind of record heat wave...

: I just wanted to say that this really worked out well for all of us. I know that there are many of you who have never role played before, and there are those of you who are experienced role-players, but everybody did so very well, I am really impressed with everybody's talents.

It was our original goal to just have a "Weekend Campout" and then go home after Labor Day, but keep the forum group alive and plan other "mini-role-play" activities around some of the other events.

I would love to hear from you all to help me and plan for the future.

As far as keeping this forum up and running, I am all for it, I will 'play along' because you all are so much fun and so imaginative. If however you all want to shut the 'camping forum down and wait for the next event, we can do that to. In any event, I think all of you are marvelous and I really love you all.

Go with the majority. I am easy either way. The reading drive certainly put a stop to me and the Love Truck. With limited time here it was hard enough to do battle and library quests and the hunt. Sorry about that.

So yes it's better to have this sort of thing going when it is in between events...but in this case we didn't know there was going to be a reading drive right... I'm glad that the camp RP still worked out as well as it did.Woo hoo.LOL :P

I am good with the majority also. I have missed a little...not on here as much and am not sure my contribution has helped much but when I AM around I have enjoyed it!

All right, I'll go with the majority. I'm a bit disappointed that the bit I had planned out didn't work out. Aya could have had a chance to shine, but it just didn't pan out.

I would love to see this forum kept up and running for longer after the reading drive is over...I am enjoying it. Not enjoying the reading drive so much but doing as much as I can...I'll be glad when the drive is over...camping is much more my speed!

Ive enjoyed this time we shared. It was nice to reconnect with everyone and have fun. I never RP before and I can see why you like it frieda! I would love to do this again! Thank you to both of you ...

- Im sorry. I dont understand how role playing works but I tried - I dont know how to do it other then be myself. Thus a true story, not a ghost story, ya know? Then I got caught up with the book drive. I say we do it again later with her time to shine being the first adventure, would that work?

Well Bohicon is still on the island feasting on fish...after wrestling that giant fish with her BEAR hands she won't leave till every morsel is consumed :P Wishing we could "pause" the camping trip till after this grueling reading drive. Bohicon can't leave the island anyway since she ate so much she'd sink Bcsam's boat...

If we bail on this trip, it will be fun to look forward to the next one.... :)

I think we're too much in limbo to bail, we need a wrap it up place so we know where to start up the next time if that makes sense? I dunno.

Is the reading drive over on Monday? I'm thinking I will have that "after event lost feeling" I get after these busy events...and what better place to be than Lake Caldera? I'd like to come back after all that exhausting book gathering...and plop by a nice crackling fire and tell how I caught the biggest fish ever on the face of the earth....

I would love to come back also...perhaps a pause for this event.
