laughs The RP seems to be all over the place at the moment. Some people in the truck somehow BEAT the truck to the campground.

I just got everyone to the campground and also through the gate.....now we're just going to get everyone in their places to set up camp.See who is in tents and cabins and in trailers.:) We also have 3 more people that joined too.Got some introductions to do.:) Still on the mark so far.:) Hellsongs ,GreenRowan,Lovetogrdn just joined us.We'll have to have them at the campsite already and work them in that way.

: I don't think that the camp is all that far from Centropolis so she shouldn't get lost. I appreciate the note in the plot developmemnt page though, back story is always good, and this is the place for back story about a character. I know that we all front-loaded our characters during the first few days of this role-play and that is to be expected, but you can't possible tell everything on the main page, right? That's why there is a Plot Development page. To develop your character, ( or maybe to be a character...now I'm confused...) (HeeHee) I'm just thrilled that The Lady tackled Maddy first. That was CUTE!! ( Maddy just loves The Lady and wants to grow up to be just like her, which is silly because Madison is a chibi pherret and she is already full grown. She's older then Frieda )

: You're doing just fine, The Love Truck has arrived at the Group camping site, which is able to accommodate about 25 tents, RV's and about 100 campers and it is situated between the lake and the rustic cabins. It is between late afternoon, and early evening, around 6:30-7:30PM. People are setting up their tents and unpacking their luggage.

: Just like in real life, some are early some are late, some missed the bus and arrived by car, and some fell out of the sky or "poofed" there on a magic carpet. I love it. But at least everybody is arriving.

: Weldon has set up a camp kitchen and it is based on the ages-old tradition of the "chuck-wagon" ( except that this one isn't on wheels, but it is portable ) and he has offered to be the Camp Cookie. While he is quite a good cook, he doesn't expect that everybody will either like his cooking or be able to eat it because some have special diets. He also knows that some have brought a lot of their own food to share and he is perfectly comfortable with that and is looking forward to tasting it too. If you need a place to cook your food, you are invited to "Chez-Welly" to do so, if you want to cook over a campfire, there are campfire rings, rustic cook pits with a grill and picnic tables at each tent site . If you need a place to put your cold food items, the camp kitchen has plenty of space in it's coolers, all Weldon asks is that you help chip in daily to go to the snack bar and purchase ice to keep it cold.

Today, I thought we would Role Play about setting up camp, settling in, eating together, and gathering around the central campfire for some cocoa and a little introduction. There will be some "awards" give out tonight around 9:00 PM Subeta Time. Starting tomorrow, we will start our first "day in camp" with some fishing, boating and adventuring."

That sounds good to me. RedCalypso will eat a few meals at the kitchen but cook any fish she catches at her firepit. Her tent and camp is already set up, so she's free to help anyone else set up.

I am still new to this whole RP thing, so thanks for the updates and timeline. I don't know if I am doing it all correctly, and sometimes I get sidetracked and forget to post, so i lose track of the story line. I am having fun so far. For story development, I am still thinking of a plot to get started on with camp. I do think that I will be taking up space in one of the tents, though most nights, if weather permits, I will be taking my sleeping bag off to the beach and sleeping under the stars.

: That is perfect. You're doing just fine. Our job as hosts is to just interject a few scenarios from time to time. The major plot is that we're camping. There isn't going to be monsters or demons or hurricanes ( like I had on one RP I was involved with where those things happened ALL AT ONCE!! ) But there will be the nightly campfire where we all meet together, tell stories, sing, flirt, so it's kind of like what we do on the Lair Bear forum...only with gnats.

LOL. Sounds fun. What about some kind of camp activity like summer camp that kids go to? We could have something to complete each day. Maybe break into teams, or a team could be a person and their pets.... I don't know. Or just relaxing sounds fun too. But my plot will probably be filled with a bunch of "unfortunate" instances because thats kind of how my RL is. Just when things are going good, something unexpected always happens and knocks me back a couple steps.

I was wondering if it would be possible to add a list of the pets to the first post on this thread. I'm having a hard time keeping track of them. I'll start off with mine.

If we were to go make a list of pets here, I might be complicated.

UltimateFriend352 (or UltimateFriend for short) is my field Ruffie and my loyal, inseparable companion.

Charlie is not a Subeta pet, but rather the beagle puppy Claire and I own IRL. He is great in the company of humans, but often shys away from other pets.

Although I created a pet after Claire, I do not want her to be considered a pet in this RP. However, the pet version may see later use via Claire's dog plushie.

Is the barge on the way?

FORGET naming my subeta pets, I have 18! I can barely name my kids, and I've had them LOADS longer!

I second your suggestion! I have a dog named Hunny and 5 old cats named Claire (sorry! I didn't name her, my now 20 year old son named her around 10 years ago), Scar (he only has one eye, he was my meowclops over THERE), Cookie, Ugly & Popcorn and a new kitten who (TODAY!) I renamed Rumble, because Gefilte just wasn't working for everyone.... Phew! that was exhausting! I am off to bed.

Where do I roll out my sleeping bag? I am late, actually, I've always thought that so late is just early for the next event!

-km : Are you in? Did you find out 'camping spot?' You didn't have to bring all 18 pets, I just brought Madison, Merril, Niles and Rocky, mostly becauseI have role-played with them before. Rocky and Niles do not speak and are more dog like, Madison and Merril will have small speaking roles. Maddy is Lady Aflame's official "Fan Girl."

: The list just might be a list of "guests" rather then pets because, while Weldon sometimes acts like a soft fuzzy puppy, he is my mate, not my pet. And while I have a Subeta Account with 13 "pets," in my role play, none of them are actually "pets" by any stretch of the imagination as far as I am concerned, but adopted brothers and sisters, creatures that I have "rescued" and petitioned the Subetan and Atebusian governments to have them emancipated and declared Free Creatures. ( just a wee bit of back story there....)

So, What we need is a list of campers and guests....I'll get on it.

Good idea! I'll bring Nevada, he's my warrior (so I won't have to worry about squirrels eating my Gorp), Ezra my reader can read us fireside stories, and Caitlin because she is all earthy and into it and will encourage me, and Lafcadio because he's lafcadio, and Tabatha, who's minion is wearing her out from all the jumping!, and Tasse, and Mordechai and Daphe... come on! I can't pick! I'd like to be in , except for feeling, how did I describe it? "I am vicariously camping vicariously, as I can only get there by molecular travel at the speed of light, but since I am going so fast it is almost as if I am seeing time backwards. Very head spinning!"

And now, since it'a way past today and already into tomorrow, I must sleep. I brought my camper. :)

I do suppose a list of the guests would work. I suppose your characters are more animals with human intelligence that act like humans rather than pets. Maybe denoting which user controls which character would work.

I only brought one pet i.e. Ninja who is/acts like a senile dog but when younger was probably smarter then some humans ;) -km, I saved a no-sugar cookie just for you.

I brought along Stripedy. He is my experiement pet, though I don't recall the number, and am too lazy to go and check. But he looks like a giraffe with fire in his mane and tail.

I brought Brave Shadow, my reborn fester. Very loyal an protective of his family. Loves fruit, so be sure to hide your fruit if you dont want him getting into it.
