((No worries. :) Thanks for for us know.))
(( Gah. I hope this thing doesn't like, die. I didn't read much of the other posts, but I'm waiting on Jack before I respond. xD No one seems to really interact with my character much anyways. ))

Kason chuckled to herself at Howl's reaction. Seeing Jay and Ginger, she started clapping. "Can we have a round of applause for the years of waiting we all did?" She smiled, catching up. "I thought we'd have to have an intervention if the two of you never got together."
[ [ Sorry for the length. ] ]
Well I met an old man dying on a train. No more destination, no more pain. Well he said, "One thing, before I graduate... Never let your fear decide your fate."
((I had a post up this afternoon but it was a mess. So I'll polish it up and have it tomorrow morning. Sorry for the confusion. ^_^;))
"Well let's just keep moving, we know this place is here if we can't find another place soon" Jack nodded as some started to go ahead. So many extra little things were going on that as she walked made her mind skip around. Good for Jay and Ginger, it was about time that they made that crucial step to actually trying to have a relationship, they deserved to at least try. Howl she couldn't help but make fun of his actions a little bit. She'd never seen him so attentive to one person, so much that she felt that if she followed to closely, he'd forget his best friend and wack her with the tree branch, so basically she kept her distance. Which ultimately left her to herself to walk quietly watching the others.
it's alright, i can make things work, i'm hoping that magically appears again, I haven't heard from him in a while, preoccupied i'm sure

((I think school pretty much blew this RP sky high.))
((I'm back! ...kind of. I have to agree with Inari. I rather enjoy this roleplay. But I've been so busy with classes, work and volunteer work that I've found it hard to get on and post. I do owe everyone a response though, so I'll go ahead and whip one up now, while I've got a little time to myself. I'm going to take a little liberty with timing. Nothing major, I just don't want to spend the next handful of posts, well, walking.))
Annabelle tossed a curious glance at Howl as he tried to comfort her. Then the sound of shuffling and whining drew her attention to the ground beside her. Luca spun around in a tight circle and wagged her tail, trying desperately to get her master's attention. The dog's soft, dark fur and innocent yet playful manner calmed Annabelle mind. She suddenly realized that that previous afternoon's incident wasn't worth such a fuss. Even the most seasoned explorers lost their way from time to time. If anything, it was a little clandestine adventure. She also recalled the horror movie she and her sister had watched the weekend previous, and assumed the strange figure she had seen in the trees was simply her mind playing tricks. "Oh, I'm fine." She assured Howl as she gave him a friendly hug. "I'm just losing my mind. That's all." The sound of her laughter put a spring in Luca's step and the two continued down the path together.
"You're such a sweetheart. Thank you Jay." Ginger smiled, letting her hand fall to her side. "But it looks like she's alright now." She gestured to her sister as they continued on. "To be quite honest," Ginger lowered her voice to just above a whisper, "she hasn't actually been out camping for sometime. She's been so busy with work that she hasn't really had time." She shrugged. They seemed to be falling behind, she Ginger picked up the pace in order to catch up. She ignored Kason's comments as she joined the conversation. "If we want to truly camp, we need to be on the ground, in a tent. Cabin camping it just-!" She was cut short as a rather loud clap of thunder boomed overhead. It was as if the thunder had ripped a hole in the sky as suddenly and quite without warning, the sprinkle turned into a deluge. Ginger stared blankly into the trees as the rain soaked into her chocolate hair. After a moment of self-loathing she swung her bag over her shoulder and plunged her hands into her pockets. "Me and my big mouth." She muttered to herself.
Annabelle grimaced as she tried to shield herself from the rain. "Way to go Ginger!" She snapped. "What are we suppose to do now!?" Ginger pursed her lips. "We're all going to catch colds if we stay outside in this weather," Annabelle all but whined. Ginger look around the group. "Well we might as well pick up the pace and see if we can't find some kind of shelter. At least until this rain lets up." As if to emphasize her point, Luca tossed her headed and cried. Her coat was plastered against her sides as sloppy mud coated her legs.
[ [ Yeeeeeeeey~ Not everyone is dead~~~ ] ]
Kason cried out at the rain. "Are you fucking kidding me?" She frowned, stomping her feet as she walked. She tried to keep her bag dry, using her body to shield it, but it didn't seem to work. As her flip-flops slapped against the now soggy ground, they started to sink. She looked down at them. "Goddamn.." She mumbled. She picked her legs up more as she walked. The one time she wanted to not look slump on a trip with her friends, she was being forced to. And how was she supposed to mess with Howl if she looked like a giant cheese ball? . Her foot sinking into the ground, Kason opened her mouth to protest more, the front of her foot sliding under a tree root. Moving to pick her foot up, her body continued to move forward and she panicked as she started to fall. "Shit-" She squeaked. Throwing her bag, she put her arms out to catch herself. As she hit the mud, she stayed silent and took in a large, angry breath. "I. Hate. Everything."
Well I met an old man dying on a train. No more destination, no more pain. Well he said, "One thing, before I graduate... Never let your fear decide your fate."
(( No one is really interacting with my character so.. I don't know what to type. o.o ))
Jay gave an awkward smile and nodded as Ginger moved to catch up with everyone. His face was quite a deep shade of red due to Kason's comments, but he simply tried to ignore them. He decided it was better for his heart rate if he walked with someone else for a while. He came up to Amena's side and gave her a small smile. He jumped a little at the Thunder, having not been prepared to hear such a loud noise. "Well, this is lovely." He turned his head slightly to give Amena a cheesy grin. He just wasn't sure how to act around her anymore. As the sprinkles turned into a downpour, he quickly removed his cowboy hat and placed it and the poor girl's head. "That should keep you a little more dry.. A bit." He gave another awkward smile before looking up ahead. He squinted a bit and was sure he saw a small part of a building up ahead. "What's that?" He shouted in Jack's general direction. "It looks like we won't be quite as soaked, now, if we hurry." He carefully picked up his pace a bit, not really minding that his hair was already drenched. (( There! :D ))
"Quit complaining, miss priss" Ruarc said in response to kason's bitching. "You knew it was going to rain, you came anyways..." He turned around at the sound of her making contact with a puddle of mud ".....oh, that's what you are complaining about. Carry on." He said with a grin. His shirt was soaked, so were his shorts. Fortunately he left his phone in the jeep. He fell back a couple paces to walk with jack. "Where too, captain?" He aske. He trusted her, more than anyone else here. She had a plan.
We'll look any man straight in his eyes and say
"Kiss my Irish ass! ya better kiss my Irish ASS!"
Everything started to spiral down at once. Mud, muck, bang, crack, wet, it was all happening. Jack sighed pulling up her hood to shield her hair some what from the rain as she walked along sort of ignoring complaints from a select few. Looking up through the beginning of the sheets of rain she could see the house Jay called out as lightning flashed again. "I say we go there" She pointed to the house when Ruarc appeared at her side. "Not what I originally planned but at least get out of the rain for a little, not that any of us will have dry clothes for the moment, at least it'll be a place to wait out the storm with hopefully a fire place. It looks abandoned so we should be able to break in without getting in trouble" She nodded changing her direction starting to climb the small hill to the house. Making their way closer the slightly more Victorian styled two story house came into view, shutters broken and hanging from the windows, a few boards stretched across the inside could be seen as lightning flashed lighting the house up.
