i actually like more of that type of music as well lol more of a punk alternative but i like it all

sorry it took so long... I actually really stink at outlining my characters, you'll learn more about her as we play

Name: Jack Jyrkkiö

Gender: Female

Age: 17

Physical Description: Jack only stand at 5'4, a spunky little spirit. Staying slender yet having a little muscular arms and legs from playing drums for 10 years of her life. She keeps her hair long and choppy layers, the tips of her hair dip died red continuing in her side swept bangs. Depending on the day, her green eyes are either free and sparkling or framed by a pair of black plastic framed glasses. Normally sporting layers as far as clothing goes, a more laid back approach over the girly girl she was when she was younger. There is always a piece of red in her outfit somewhere, it's a signature of hers. She has the start of a tattooed sleeve in the work, the start of a gift from her dad and her brother. It's a stretch of barred music notes wrapping up from her left wrist, and a cartoon girl making a heart out of her hands on her left shoulder. Jack by far is one of the easiest people to get along with, she's fairly easy to please but she's also fairly easy to make mad as well.

History: Jack grew up in a fairly normal family, just a heavily music influenced family. From the ages 3-5 Jack's mom had stuck her in pageants, winning some high titles before Jack got to the point she hated it, which is odd for a 5 year old. The way she is now is a big reflection of her rebellion from that stage in her life. She switched her stage focus, from pageants to performing in a band. Which she tries to with her older brother Jason who picked up bass.

and i might as well get the ball slowly rolling... excuse me for this if it's shortish i am not a big fan of starting things off my posts will get longer

Alone in the parking lot, that's where you could find Jack. The school parking lot was the designated meeting place for this trip and some how she was the first to show. It was still early, enough where a pair of black shorts and a black zip up hoodie was comfortable. A red tank top lay under her hoodie for when it warmed up. The tailgate was open and Jack lay on her bag in the back of her brothers 1953 ford f100 that he surprisingly let her borrow since her Jeep Wrangler was in the shop. She let her red converse covered feet dangle up off the side of the truck bed, a clue to any of her friends who showed up of her location as she stared up at the misty morning sky through her glasses, allergies bugging her to much to put her contacts in. She checked the time on her ipod that had music streaming into her ears then looked to her phone to see if anyone had text her or called her. Not a clue where everyone was, thinking she might have gotten the time wrong.

[I think its safe to say that Jack and Howl should be good friends. I won't get too into it unless you're down, so let me know! ^_^] After I was dressed, I sent Jack a text, "sorry, gonna be a tad late :/" I hoped she wasn't the only person there. Snatchin my keys up off of the kitchen counter, I shouted a quick goodbye to my room mate, Kris and was out the door. It was his day off, so he was going to sleep the day away most likely. This was something I hardly ever did. I went to the garage door and hit the button on my keys. The garage door creeped open and there sat two vehicles, a dodge SRT, and a Ford Bronco II. I went to my old but well-kept bronco, and made sure my guitar was the back. It sat safely in its case in the back seat. I breathed a sigh of relief, and climed into the driver seat. With a turn of the key, the 25 year old vehicle came to life, and I was off to the parking lot of the school I had graduated from the year before. "Hold on, Jack." I said as I drove. [Trip, to where? J/w lol]

Kason tried to run her hand through her curls as she sat in the drivers seat of Hooptie, trying to coax the van into starting. "C'mon, Hooptie.." She pushed down the brake and turned the key, listening to the engine attempt to turn over. "C'mooon, baby, you can do it, I know you can.." She gritted her teeth. She tried a few more time before cursing and throwing the door open. "Ricky!" She called, stomping across the lawn in bare feet. Her shoes were somewhere in the van, along with most of her clothing. There was a suitcase under it, she just had to dig it out and shove everything in there. Pulling open the front door, she looked at Bobby. "The hooptie won't start." He rolled his eyes. "Guys!" She called, walking into the kitchen. "Hooptie needs a push!" She sat herself on the counter and opened a bag of chips as she waited, brushing the crumbs off on her cut off shorts. She watched Bobby go put a pair of pants on, Johnny shuffle out of his room, rubbing his eyes. Tony walked out and tried to nonchalantly lead a girl to the front door. She'd give him shit for that later. She waited for Harry and Ricky to come out, but never saw them. "Where's Ricky?" Kason asked. Ricky was their father, whom by choice of actions, was deemed permanently stuck in the mental state of a seventeen year old, and not deemed fit to call Dad. "Harry took him to the shop to pick up his car." Someone answered as they all started milling about in the kitchen. "Oh. Guess that explains why their cars aren't here." Johnny popped his palm against her forehead. "Der." Kason frowned. "Shut up and help me get the hooptie down the street." She fixed her over-sized dress shirt that she stole from Bobby. It had a few little moth holes in it, so she didn't expect that he'd miss it. "Do you have a shirt under that?" Tony asked. Kason shrugged. "Are you going to put a shirt under it?" She shrugged again. "Go put a shirt on." "Did you put a condom on last night before you let that girl give you the clap?" Tony frowned and grabbed her from the counter, letting her hang over her shoulder. "Hey!" She squealed, grabbing the back of his jeans. "Hey! Put me down!" Johnny laughed and they took advantage of her state by swatting at her bottom, ticking her and pulling her shorts down to her ankles. "Oh my god! Are you serious?!" She writhed against Tony's grip as he carried her to the yard. "No! Put me down!" She kicked, trying to keep her shorts on her ankles. She pulled at Tony's jeans until they fell around his ankles. "Doesn't bother me." He laughed. Pulling open the hooptie door, he dropped her inside and let her fix her shorts. Tony pulled his jeans up. "Put it in neutral." Kason closed the door and rolled the window. She put the van in neutral and so started the pushing it out of the driveway and down the street. When they stopped pushing, and it just rolled down the street, Kason finally got it started and she laughed. "Atta boy!" She patted the dash board and waved out the window. She listened to the car sputter and pop as she drove towards the high school.

Ginger rolled out of bed and stumbled across her bedroom floor to the window. Peeking between the blinds, she took note of the dew droplets still on the grass and the blanket of misty grey clouds in the sky. An inkling of concern sprouted in the recesses of her mind, though was soon lost as she pulled her fingers out of the blinds and glanced at the clock on her bedside table. She grimaced and then went about shuffling through the clothes strewn about her room. She selected with little care a fresh pair of jeans, a couple of mismatched socks and a short-sleeved shirt with a deer on it. In the kitchen her sister was waiting for her, sipping hazelnut coffee from an oak-glazed mug as she read the lifestyle section. "Welcome to the land of the living," she said without looking up. Ginger ignored her as she grabbed a bagel off the counter and opened a cold soda from the fridge. She took a few sips of the bubbly drink to clear her throat before choosing to speak. "You know we're running late, don't you?" Annabelle finished her coffee and set the mug down on the counter. "We? I've been up since five o'clock and have already tended to this mornings chores as well as packed the car." She folded up the newspaper and tossed it in the recycle bin. "The only thing I should be faulted for is waiting around for you". She gazed at Ginger somberly before suddenly breaking into a smile. "Now that you have dressed and eaten, we can go. I'll meet you in the car. Come Luca, let's go girl!" As Annabelle made her way to the door she was met by a large black Belgium Shepard; the family dog Luca. She wagged her tail happily as her master opened the door and told her to go to the car. "By the way, change your shirt Ginger. There is a stain on that one." She didn't bother to wait for a response as she let the door close behind her.

Ginger yawned as they pulled into the parking lot. There was only one other car there, and from red converse shoes shoes hanging out of the back it was probably... "Jack!"Annabelle called out as she hopped out of the truck. Luca sprang out of the bed and ran across the parking lot, barking with excitement upon seeing a fresh face. Annabelle followed at a brisk paced while Ginger dozed in the front seat. "It looks like we are the first one's here," she commented as she leaned against Jack's truck. "How are you this morning"? She asked as Luca came to sit at her side.

((I tend to get a little wordy when I first start. I'll be sure keep myself in check, though feel free to kick me if I get too carried away.))

Jay let out a sneeze as he stepped outside, half stretching. His mother and father were already busy with their morning tasks, Mr. Lawson out in one of the barns, and Mrs. Lawson busy in the kitchen. "I'm leaving now, mom." And before he could get an answer, he shut the door and was on his way. He hopped into a red chevy pick-up, practically brand new and began to drive to the meeting location. He glanced out the window driving down the old road that lead out from the ranch and noticed the corpse of a timber wolf on the side of the road. His cousin, a native american, had told him how much of a bad omen it was to find a dead wolf. But of course, Jay never believed him and shrugged it off. °°°°° It wasn't too long before he pulled into the parking lot. He could see that Jack was already there, and.. Ginger. He let out a soft sigh as he parked and exited the truck. He glance over at the lovely Ginger, and of course her sister was there. He nipped his bottom lip before deciding he'd wander over and talk to all three girls.

((Boo, Jay and the twins should've grown you together. :D Yeeesssss.))

Meanwhile, Louis was grumbling to himself in the front seat of his car whilst trying to get it to start. It was quite an old car so the weather must have messed with the engine and the only backup was... His mothers car. A soft sigh bounced around the interior of the car as blue eyes glanced over at the built in clock. Not only was his car not working but he was late as well? Great. After stepping out of his car and slamming the door shut, he trudged back in to the house he called home to find his mother sitting in the front room with none other than Michael, his 'step-father'. Louis gave somewhat of a scowl and finally piped up, his eyes focussed on his mother. "Mum, could I borrow... Betty?" Louis rolled his eyes at the car's nickname but it caught her attention after all, so he couldn't complain. That and she probably wouldn't let him use it if he didn't use it's 'name'. "Of course, hun. Is yours not working? Should I take him to the garage?" Ah, it felt great to have all of her attention on him for once as opposed to the man who refused to even look at him any more. "If you want to. Anyway, I really have to get going. I'm running late. See you when I get back!" He called, slightly rushed, as he quickly snatched up the floral patterned keys and darted out of the door as fast as his boot-clad feet could carry him.

X

After transferring his camping equipment from his old rust bucket to the backup car, he finally started on his journey towards the designated meeting place. He kept his head down for most of the journey, embarrassed to be seen in such a car but if it got him there then he was... No, he wasn't fine with it, just a little bit more accepting of the idea. He arrived not a few minutes later in the bright pink, flower-patterned, Ford Ka of his mothers. A deep blush crept onto his pale cheeks as he saw the people he was meant to meet a long while ago, both because of the car and the fact that he was late. Needless to say, he was happy to get out of that monstrosity called 'Betty' and make his way over, trying to act like he hadn't just shown up in the most effeminate car he could have ever imagined.

Jack was still rather distracted looking at her phone as it buzzed in her hand. "It's cool you're not the only one" She sent back to Howl. She didn't get up from her lounging spot in her brothers truck bed until she heard the barking. "Oh hey girl" Jack gave a friendly smile awkwardly sitting up while pulling her earbuds from her ears at the same time. Putting her arms against the sides where her legs were just resting Jack sat cross legged looking out. "I'm kinda surprised I'm the first one here actually" She admitted, "And Howl text me, he's on his way, and I see the others are all starting to show up as well" Jack nodded seeing other cars joining in various places. "Guess you could say I' m fine, nothing really to complain about this morning other than I don't have my Jeep but my brothers truck is an acceptable trade off. " She laughed "Nice of you guys to show up" Jack joked seeing two of the guys show up. "And in style" She poked at Louis grinning seeing his blushed face.

Kason sang off key to a CD in her car as she pulled up to the school, the hooptie sputtering and popping. "You did such a good job, Hooptie. I'm so proud of you." She patted the dash board again and kissed the steering wheel. Flicking a cigarette out the window, she rolled it back up an popped a piece of gum in her mouth. She yelled along with the song, attempting to park her van and not hit anyone's car in the process. "I met an old man dyin' on a train!" She yelled. Sitting up against the steering wheel, she inched forward until she hit the cement block at the end of the spot. "Ba da ba ba da!" She drummed on the steering wheel before climbing into the back and shoving clothes in the duffle bag. She put on a tank-top under her shirt before climbing out the sliding door. Pulling her hair back, Kason tried to shove it into a big beanie she'd found in Harry's room, pulling her bangs out. She kissed the van door as it closed, giving it a reassuring pat before she walked over and jumped on the tail gate of Jack's truck. "Sup, guys?" She smiled, her head nodding slightly. "I'm not late this time."

Annabelle nodded as she crossed her arms and gave a somewhat content sigh. The previously vacant parking lot had come alive with the sound of cars and trucks of varying vintage and, was that a little pink car? She chuckled as Louis joined them, though swallowed a comment on the little pink car to spare the poor boy's feelings. "Hello Kay-Kay," (Annabelle's self-appointed nickname for the spunky girl). "It astonishing how during school hours we couldn't coordinate a meeting to save our lives," she pulled the sleeve of her sweater back to glance at a silver wrist watch. "Though once we're graduated and gone, nothing could keep us apart." She smiled as she ran her hand over Luca's smooth black head.

"Is everyone here?" She asked as she surveyed the group. Jay has joined them by this point, which made the total head count five. That wasn't right, there were still people missing. She remembered Jack had mentioned Howl had texted her, so he was probably still on route. That only left. "Ginger. Oh Luca love..." The big black dog jumped to attention, her tail wagging merrily as she listened to Annabelle. "Fetch Gin-Gin. Go!" She pointed from Luca to their silver truck parked a little ways away and snapped her fingers. Luca bounced around in a circle before taking off across the lot.

Ginger had dozed off almost completely in the front seat of the truck, her camo jacket wrapped tightly around her. She hadn't slept very soundly the night before and figured a cat nap was in order while they were waiting for everyone to arrive. She was just about to achieve her objective when suddenly something sprang into her lap and began licking her face. "Luca!" she snapped as she tried to push the dog back outside. "Off! You ridiculous girl. Off!" Luca fell back onto the asphalt and whined, her ears pricked forward as she encouraged Ginger to get up and play. Ginger was anything but eager as she pulled herself out of the truck and slammed the door behind her. She rubbed her eye and yawned as she joined the group, Luca running around her and barking as if to show everyone that she had succeeded. "Good morning." She greeted everyone lazily as she leaned against the truck and slid down to ground, her arms wrapped tightly around her as she gazed out across the parking lot.

Jay chuckled a little bit when Ginger finally joined them. "Just waiting for Howl, then?" He questioned, unsure if the question was accurate. He gave Luca a good pat on the head and a friendly smile. He stretched slightly, accidentally tapping his cowboy hat causing it to tip slightly off balance and fall to the ground. He smiled awkwardly before bending down to grab it.

I made one pit-stop for a couple java monsters, one for me, and one for ginger. My foresight was proved correct as I had predicted that Ginger would be the most sluggish of us all. She was always the sleeper back in school. As the last one pulling in, it was my personal obligation to blair some We Came As Romans with the windows down. That way they'd all know it was me without having to see my distinguishing truck. I parked next to the truck that Jack was sitting in with a smile. As I. Turned the truck off, and climbed out I greeted everyone. I gave Jack a nod as I went strait to Ginger with her java monster in hand. "Coffee?" I offered to her. It was somewhat surreal to see us all together again. I had seen every one seperately, but everyone together? It was like we were in school again. I couldn't help but smile as I remembered the good old days. As I thought, I noticed the twins' dog, Luca. "Hey, buddy!" I said playfully, squatting down and scratching him. I seemed to be the only one really satisfying his playful need.

Louis gave a huff at Jack's comment, his cheeks puffing out slightly and making him resemble a puffer fish without the spikes. "I'll have you know that it's my mother's car. Mine wouldn't start this morning and I had no choice but to use that." His cheeks were still flushed as he folded his arms defensively over his chest and leaned against the pink exterior of the car, his eyes fixed on the floor like it was the most interesting thing in the world. Though, his head lifted as he heard the all too familiar music. Louis gave a short wave to Howl before slipping his own phone out of his back pocket, occupying himself with none other than his online blog. He tapped in yet another complaint about the weather and how it murdered his car before sending a quick text to his sister, warning her to stay off of his laptop whilst he was gone. Once he was finished, he put his phone back and took a deep breath, the cool air filling his lungs and effectively taking his mind off of the floral-printed car that he was leaning on. For now, at least.

"What's astonishing were those days when I did show up to school."Kason chuckled. Looking over at Louis, she commented on his displeasure of the car he was driving. "The hooptie doesn't start in the mornings, or when it's cold, or when it's too hot, or ever, really. It just needs a good push and some reassurance." Her legs swung slightly as she sat on the bed. They weren't nearly close to touching the ground. She watched Howl scratch at Luca's head. "And four guys who can push a van down the street. But your mom's car's super cute," She shrugged, "you know, for a guy." Surveying the group,, and attempting to count the number of them, she assumed they were all present, which meant they could leave and she would once again, be the tiny one. Looking up with a sigh, Kason's face scrunched up. "I hope it doesn't rain.. My hair'll get so gaddamn frizzy.." She grimaced and gripped her beanie at the thought. She didn't want to have to product her hair the whole time they were on this trip..

Jack laughed a little with Louis's reaction, "Chill out, I was only kidding" Her head turned around looking towards the music hearing Howl pull in. "Hey" She smiled in response to his nod. "But yea, I know what it's like with things not starting, that's why I have my brothers truck, the Jeep's in the shop." She nodded sitting up a bit no longer resting her head on her hands Jack stretched her back a bit. "Alright so now that everyone is here guess we can figure out how we're getting there, all taking ourselves or pairing up? Another reason why I begged Jason to let me take this, there was more room for gear in the back, but not people, I can take one maybe two people" She nodded now standing in the bed looking down at the others as she carefully sat down on the taller edge letting her feet dangle above the wheel, her hands grasping the sides keeping her balance. "And Kas they're not calling for rain, well not a lot, it's like a 20% chance" Jack shrugged, "You know how wrong the weather people can be though"

"I think we should pair up. It means less cars to worry about, and I'm sure your mom would prefer her little pink wonder stayed out of the mud and grit." She glanced at Louis. "We're packed in terms of gear," Annabelle said, "but we have a plenty of backseat available to claim. That is as long as you don't mind sharing with Luca." She smiled as she watched Luca play with Howl. "She usually rides in the bed, but I don't want her back there with all that gear. We have; one, two, oh plus Luca...that makes one seat! Alright, so maybe not so much." She pursed her lips as she looked up at the sky.

"Jay doesn't mind Luca. Why doesn't he ride with us?" Ginger piped up as she finished off the Java Monster Howl had graciously given her. "That alright with you Jay?" She asked as she formally joined the group with a renewed sparkle in her eyes and pep in her voice. "Thanks Howl." She nodded to him before crunching the can between her palms. "Well if we are all in agreement then let's hit the road. I don't know about you guys, but I'm ready for a little summer fun, rain or no rain." Luca barked again as she ran around Howl, punctuating Ginger's point perfectly.

Jay made a small pout face, and a very noticeable 'face-palm' as Howl presented Ginger with an energized drink. Why didn't I think of that? He shook his head lightly, his pleasant smile returning to his face. "Of course I don't mind Luca." He gave an almost shy glance at Ginger, almost as if he was seeing sparkles and roses, but of course she looked better in mud; and at that thought a light shade of red lightened his face up slightly. "Little pup's all grown up; how old is she now? It coulda just been yesterday that ol' Pepper threw this gorgeous dog." There was a distinct twang to his voice as his excitement grew. "I'd rather play in the mud." He gestured to the boots on his feet. "These new boots could see a little mud. Too clean for me." He took a couple steps towards the twins' truck, before turning and once more facing the group; obviously denoting that he would indeed be riding with these girls.

"I have two open seats." I chimed in. My guitar took up one seat and there wasn't much room in the back seeing as how I had two big PA stackers bolted to the floor in the cargo space. I was quite proud of my truck's sound system. thank God I had plenty of money in the bank. Rather, thank my two amazing dads. "I could take louis, or Kason." What I meant by that was I hoped I could take Kason. The crush I had on her hadn't changed since junior year, and I knew Jack knew. Id cried on her shoulder too many times for her not to know. I shot Jack a quick look, then smiled at Kason before she saw it.

Jack hid a small eye roll and a smirk seeing Howl's look, she heard it all and would probably not hear the end of it with whatever happened this weekend with them. Not that she minded, they were close, she liked spending time with him, and her heart was confused anyway so why not see one of her best friends happy. "Someone's not counting right or else my mind is still asleep" Jack said looking around. "Because I think we still have one odd one out, and we can't have that" She shook her head. "Cause what it's twins and Jay and that's all that fits right? Then what you have four seats?" She asked pointing to Howl, just one of the many directions Jack's hands flailed when she was trying to explain or figure something out. "Cause you said you had two seats then only said you could take one or the other assuming I'd take the one seat, no one can squeeze one more in?" She asked looking around, having an odd time trying to look her friends in the eye, more or less the guys. That's an odd feeling.

Annabelle counted silently to herself. She would be driving of course, it was her truck after all. Ginger would be riding shotgun, as always. Then there was room for three in the back, four if everyone squeezed. "Luca usually takes up two seats, though I suppose if she stayed on the floor like a good girl," she patted the dog on the head before continuing. "I think we could manage one more." She glanced at her sister for confirmation, who nodded in agreement. "Yes, we can take one more. You'll have to give us a moment to shuffle our gear, then we'll be ready to go. Who else was it that needed a ride?" Annabelle asked.

Ginger slipped behind her sister and nudged Jay's arm. "Come on, let's go get your stuff." She said before turning and heading in the direction of Jay's truck. "You know, Anna loves that dog like a second sister." She chuckled to herself. "It's as if they were raised together, though I think Luca is only about three or four years old. Didn't she get her around the time she started high school." She looked up at the darkening sky as she recalled the first time she saw the little black bundle of energy. "Ya, I'm pretty sure it was around that time." She smiled as she reached up and pulled a bag out of the bed and slung it over her shoulder. "It was very sweet of your family to let Anna have her." She took that moment to give a little half-smile; her way of showing gratitude.

((: No problem Inari. I took a leap and assumed Pepper belonged to Jay's family. I can change that little detail if needed.))

((: Oh, I also went ahead and responded a little early. I usually like to wait for everyone else to respond before I continue, but I just wanted to ensure everyone had a seat. I hope that's alright and I promise I won't make a habit of it.))
