(( Sorry, I've been a little busy today. :P ))

Jay shivered as a chill passed down his spine when Ginger touched him lightly. He followed her around to the other side of the truck and gave a couple chuckles at Luca as she watch the friendly demeanor between the dog and Annabelle. After the pup had stopped being so excited, he hopped in after he got the okay from Annabelle. It wasn't long after he settled himself and buckled himself up that Luca found her way to his lap. He chuckled again and scratch her between the ears. "Silly, girl." He spoke quietly. The boy gave a shy smile towards Ginger as she mistook his knee for the dog at first. "It's alright there, Ginger." He immediately blushed realizing what he had said. "Er.. That's me sayin' that I didn't mind at all." He paused to cough lightly. "Or, just sayin' that you weren't botherin' nothin'." He quickly glanced in a different direction after repeatedly tripping over sentences and spilling out words that just worsened the situation.

Kason smirked. She walked over to his truck and opened the door before sliding the handle under the front seat. She hated being the only one drinking, mostly because she turned into quite the brave, loosed-moraled whore. But if you asked the guys at school, they'd probably tell you that you didn't need the alcohol. She went across to the hooptie. After managed to shove a few bags of what looked like items on a frat-boy's grocery list, she grabbed a pair of flip flops. She tossed them at Howl's truck before starting to lock up the hooptie. Kason rolled up the windows, closed the side door and went around from the inside hitting all the locks. "Don't you give up on me while I'm gone." She told it. "Don't you get towed or lonely or leave, okay? I'll have to kill you dead." She clambered out of the front seat, hit the final lock and slammed the door. "Be good. Love you." She kissed the window, headed back to the bronco.

I knew how kason was when she was drunk, but that wasn't my intention. I mostly didn't want to see her get mixed up in some trouble. I would drink lightly and watch over her. I could hold it down better than she could anyway. And maybe if something happened, I could remember it, and apologize, and maybe that would turn into something more. It wasn't exactly the most romantic thing in the world, but if it was going to get her to notice me, really notice me, then so be it. I put the truck in drive and looped around so that I was behind Jack, giving her a rev since my horn didn't work. [Sorry its short. I didn't want to do much before Jack posted :P]

"Just in the back in the bed, there's not really room inside for them" Jack nodded looking out the window. Jack broke out of her mini trance more once Amena joined her. "You're fine" She offered a smile, "Would have probably been you or me anyway. But since it's me that's driving" She laughed little. She looked back into her rearview mirror seeing everyone basically ready. As Louis got in she heard Howl's rev, she chuckled a little shaking her head. Jack stuck her hand our her window giving him a thumbs up that she knew he was ready. "Alright well everyone is ready so let's go. You two can play with the music if you want, my iPod is connected already cause Jason hasn't fully fixed the radio yet so all that works is that" She informed the two letting her arm rest on the door as she started to pull away "I apologize in advance if it get's weird at times, blame the gear shift" Jack smiled.

sorry I was just waiting to see if Louis would show up again... sorry I just kinda put him in the truck... and as a heads up there might be a little fast forward after this next round so it's not playing forever in the car c=

Ugh, I was going to reply earlier but my laptop couldn't connect at all. Turns out that I needed a new router but I should be back for good now.))

Louis had just thrown his things into the bed of the truck and walked around to join Amena, shutting the door behind him and buckling up with his cheeks flushed yet again. He'd only just gotten over the fact that he was forced to drive such a feminine car and that subtle teasing from Howl didn't help at all. To cover up the slight pink tint, he lifted a hand to his face and brushed those stray strands of hair back into place. Then his eyes wandered to his side. He hadn't really known Amena that well but he knew enough of her past. He just chose not to mention it but, still, it'd be good to have a conversation with somebody real for once. "It should." He replied, meaning that it should be fun but nobody could predict the future. He then averted his gaze to the front of the car, nodding at Jack as if to say 'it's fine' or 'understandable'. He knew what it was like to have probelms with cars.

Kason grabbed her flip flops from the concrete and jumped into Howl's truck as he pulled behind Jack. She propped her feet up on the dash board and crossed her ankles, reaching forward to scratch the little tattoo on the inside of her ankle. "Are we the only ones?" She asked him as she leaned back. She pushed her hair from her face. Everyone seemed to be packed into Jack's truck, so it slowly clicked that they were. With a small nod, she leaned her seat back a bit, resting her elbows on the door and the center console. She drummed on her stomach along with the beat of the music.

[ lol, its an '87 bronco, there is no console. There's an armrest though, so its okay xD] Kason had her gorgious, smooth legs propped up, and I stole a glance at them. The sun hit them and caused them to glow warmly. I had to catch my breath. "Yeah, just you and me." I managed to say casually. As we took off down the highway, and my engine began to really roar, I rolled up the windows. That blocked the sound out, but it made the vehicle uncomfortably warm, so I put on the AC. "Hope you don't mind AC." I said, "that engine drives me nuts. " I wished I could've taken Kris's SRT. Then I would've had some style to show off to Kason. But then again, maybe she wasn't iinto flashy stuff. I was thinking way too much about it. By the time I came back to the world, it was almost noon. We'd been driving in tired silence for about an hour or so. I turned the music dow so we could easily talk, and switched it to my Amon Amarth discogrophy. Amon Amarth was good for background tunes. "So Kason, " oh God what was I going to say? "Are you planning on going to college or anything?" Wow. Was that all I could come up with? My palms started to sweat.

Annabelle glanced back at Jay as she noticed him beginning to ramble. Ginger hadn't seemed to have noticed as she settled into the front seat, her gaze drifting somewhere out the window. She always found herself looking out the window on car rides. There was just something about the wind in her hair and the sights passing by that put her mind at ease. She would probably stay like this for the whole of the ride, unless Luca jumped up front or someone struck up a conversation she could contribute too. Annabelle put the truck in drive and spun around to face Jack. When she gave the signal Annabelle held back and signaled for Howl to go ahead. Her truck was the largest and by far the loudest, so she figured it would be easier on everyone if she brought of the tail of their little caravan. "So Jay," she said as she rolled the windows up and turned the AC on low. "do you have any idea where exactly we're going?" She pulled out of the parking lot and onto the main road, careful to give Howl plenty of room as she fell in behind him. "Jack just told us," she pointed from Ginger to herself, "we were camping. That's it." As she said this Luca rolled over on her side and rubbed her head against Jay leg, her eyes fluttering shut as she went to sleep.

Kason startled slightly, almost jumping, her head leaving the fist it had been resting on. She didn't even notice that she'd fallen asleep. She blinked furiously. Taking in that she was in Howl's truck, she remembered they were going camping. "Hm? What?" She looked over and rubbed her eyes. She put her hand up to block the sun from her eyes. Putting her legs down on the floor she stretched out, yawning and twisting in the seat.

Jay shook his head. "Jack told me the same thing. Though she did mention that I may not need a sleeping bag, but I brought one anyways." He gently stroked Luca's side, glancing out the window every now and then, but trying to keep in the conversation.

"Nothing..." I said, brething a quiet sigh of relief. "Do you know where we're going?" I asked, avoiding my previous question. "Jack just told me we were camping, but you know her. She's bound to have something up her sleeve." Something in me felt weird about what was going on. Jack always told me what was going on. I couldn't imagine why she wouldn't.

"Alright we're here" Jack smiled pulling up to a clearing outside of some woods. "We might have to do a little bit of walking this is just where the cars will be parked" She nodded turning the truck off and getting out to point to the others telling them just to park there. Jack looked up at the sky through the small clearing of trees, it looked as if it was growing dark. "Please don't rain" She mumbled to herself still standing up on the truck so no one could hear here. Hoping down Jack leaned in the cab grabbing the keys. "You two can get your things" She smiled getting out again closing the door. She sighed a bit while no one had the chance to notice as she went to the back climbing in and carefully around the others things to get her stuff. She sat on the edge of the sides of the bed waiting for everyone else to gather.

Jay patted Luca gently. "We're here girl." He carefully hopped out of the truck and stretched, like he does. He took a deep breath of the fresh forest air. He quickly hopped to taking stuff out; he of course grabbed his two bags, and one of Ginger's and Annabelle's. "Did everyone have a smooth trip?" He asked everyone in general.

Annabelle spun the steering-wheel and pulled onto a small pack of bare ground near where Jack had parked. Luca perked her ears and lifted her head as Jay coaxed her awake. The fresh mountain air and chirping birds peeked her interest greatly, but she did not get up. Instead she tossed her head between Annabelle, and Jay as he hopped out of the truck. "What sweety? You wanna go? You wanna go?" Luca wagged her tail and eagerly scooted towards the door. "Ready? Ready? Go!" She cheered. Luca sprang out the door and bolted past Jay, into the woods. Although she could be heard running through the underbrush, she had been trained not to bark in the woods unless instructed to do so. What good would a hunting dog be if they scared all the game away? The twins both stepped out and stretched. Luca was still exploring the woods nearby they joined Jay and walked over to Jack together. "It's wonderful to be out in the woods again." Annabelle commented as she took a deep breath and sighed. Ginger nodded in agreement as she helped Jay set some of the bags down on the ground. There was plenty more gear in the truck, but she wanted to make sure they had a plan before they went about unpacking it all. "The trip up here was nice. So where will we be camping out Jack?" She asked, pausing as she felt something cool and wet fall on her cheek. Whipping her cheek with the back of her hand, she glanced up at the sky. "Well that could be a problem," said Annabelle.

(( OH MY GOODNESS! I WAS AT KUMORICON SORRY FOR DISAPPEARING! I will be disappearing for 3 more days, starting tomorrow. But once that camp is over I will be able to get on more regularly. I'm so sorry. D: )

((I'm busier than ever this semester, but having a great time. Japanese has been taking up most of my time actually. How is everyone else?))
