Platina blushed a little. "Oh come now, I can't be the only one to walk down the runway. My head would get bigger from all the attention." He wasn't sure that these two would care to do something like that anyway. "We'll find something else to do." Of course, he'd rather just go home with Daniel and cuddle or something, but it was always better to socialize.

"Well, have it your way. But, uhm, are you guys coming home with me or...?" Sui asked.

"Uhm, Sui, right? You are really nice and we'd love to hang out, but... You see, I've just arrived and I'm a little tired. Perhaps we could all meet later? This place seems to be filled with nightlife... or unlife, if you catch my meaning!"

Up until now, Daniel was trying to look as excited as possible and not show how tired from the trip he really was. Of course he truly was excited about seeing Platina again - even though they had been seeing each other frequently - and about going someplace new, but he was phisically exhausted and keeping up was hard.

He turned to Platina with pleading puppy eyes and made his move: "So, dear... would you mind if we went to the hotel and rest for a while? I don't even know why I dressed up just to get off the ship" he scratched the back of his neck and looked apologetic. "Everybody was already in costumes and I thought I could hold on, but I'm really, really tired..."

Platina smiled, "Sounds fine. You must want something to eat too." He smiled at Sui again, "Thank you for the offer. I hope your night is as eventful and fun as you want it to be." He hooked his arm through Daniel's and fluttered his eyelashes. "And... get these blasted contacts out too." He leaned against Daniel with a soft sigh. He did miss the man. Long-distance relationships were difficult. He didn't want to impose on the young student during his classtime... Distractions were probably less than welcome.

Cin shrugged. "It's nothing, oh and I'm Cin." He grinned before lighting the cigarette. "Not trying to ruin a family holiday er nuthin." One of his ears flicked and he readjusted the flower crown atop his head. Family was the last thing he wanted to think about anyway. New family or old, neither of them seemed to care about his whereabouts these days. Either way he looked he just got sort of down thinking about it. "Hey, you guys haven't seen a super tall, sort of green guy with orange and black hair have you?" Odds were stacked against this being a reality especially thanks to tourist season, but on occasion Bio would visit Shadowglen after doing business up the road in Darkside. Cin knew better that to expect Bio to play dress up, but if he was somewhere around Cin would very much like to know. Exhaling a plume of strange smelling smoke into the night air Cin took a sip of coffee and considered his next course of action.

Kia shook her head and looked around just to see if she could spot someone of that description on the off chance. "No I'm afraid that I haven't. If I do see someone of that description should we point them in your direction?" She offered spotting Kai and Archer back towards the cafe. Figures.

Archer shrugged, at least as much as he could while holding someone in his lap. "It didn't seem like my place to tell them. I don't really know them after all," He smiled pleasantly. He left out the fact that Platina had downright ignored him after Kai left and the Sui woman had been far too preoccupied with the thought of the party. Archer felt that any recommendation he could have offered on the subject would have just gone in one ear and out the other.

"But I haven't really been out and around, though, so I'm probably not the best person to ask." He paused, then added, "It's nice to meet you, Cin. And thanks again for the coffee."

He looked over to where Sui, Platina, and Daniel were still talking, mentally going over the things he would say but delaying actually going over to do it. There was a long moment of silence, where he simply settled onto Archer's lap, resting his head on the other man's shoulder with a heavy sigh. "I missed you," he finally said, trailing his fingers down the laces of Archer's vest. For the time being, it seemed like he was tuning out the fact that they weren't alone. Or perhaps he was starting to move past that societal shyness. Most likely it was the first option.

Cin grinned and scratched the back of his head. "Yeah, I doubt he's guna show. Don't worry about it. Just thought I would ask." His tail wagged sort of sheepishly, if that was even possible for a wolf man's tail to do. "Anyway, thanks for not being to mad about me ruining your date and all..." At this point Cin wasn't sure if he was welcomed to stick around with them or not. He had the feeling that once the couples had been reunited he would be a fifth wheel. Already having played the third for a little while he was growing anxious. Glancing across the street he strained to see if they had opened the gates to the underground yet. There were a few of his customers he knew would be waiting below ground and maybe even a free drink or two. Underground alcohol took some getting used to but if you knew when to stop it had much to offer the wayward youth. Exhaling the last of his cigarette he expertly flicked the butt into a trash receptacle and took another swig of coffee.

"Alright. Guess I'll be seeing you guys around then. Perhaps we can think of something tomorrow! Well, I'm off. Be seeing ya!" Sui hugged them briefly and turned towards her home, hoping to see them again tomorrow or perhaps meet other friends who had been to the Masquerade and Eric's wedding. Speaking of which, truth was she felt real lonely, specially now that her brother was married, but she never let anybody know. Anybody except for one person...

"Awn, I missed you, Platina" Daniel said squeezing the angel's hand in his. "I want to make the most of it since I only got the weekend. But I'll be coming back here whenever I can, on other weekends, and then for Morostide itself."

Kia handed Lucas one of the coffees and leaned up to kiss him on the cheek. "I"ll be right back." she said and headed off to where she spotted Kai and could only assume Archer was the one in the hood considering that Kai was in his lap. She walked up to them with a grin. "Hello Archer, glad to see you could make it... and I see that my brother is happy to see you as well." She chuckled as she put the coffees down on the table. "These are for you two."

Archer kissed Kai back in response and looked up at his sister joined them and was even delightful enough to bring warm beverages. "Hello Kia," he nodded at her taking one of the plain coffees. "Thank you, its' good to see you as well. Love the costume, I'm sure it would give your mother kittens."

Thankfully her attention was off him, so he felt slightly less foolish about it. "Don't worry about it - honestly, I think it worked out pretty well. Maybe we could help you look for your friend?" Lucas suggested, taking a drink of his coffee. Pumpkin spice was definitely a good seasonal offering. Even better when it wasn't coffee he'd made for himself. "You could show us around at the same time. You know, if you want to. Just an idea."

"Hello, Kia," he said, briefly nuzzling Archer before climbing off his lap and quickly settling into a chair of his own. "Thank you for the drinks." Her appearance reminded him that they were, in fact, in a public setting, and his face burned at the realization. Any quips he might have had in regards to her garb died of embarrassment.

Platina blushed prettily and lowered his eyelashes. "I'm glad you're here. I feel like a fish out of water here now... I'm just relieved I now have someone I can spend my time with." Archer angered him, Kai acted as any young lover would and favored the annoying one over anyone else, which only turned Platina green with envy. And green was not a pretty color on the angel. He exhaled, "Are you hungry? Should we go and get you something?"

"I'd like to stop at a hotel, get a room and drop my bag first. You said something about your contacts being a literal pain too, didn't you?" Daniel felt the heaviness of Platina's feelings as the angel let out a somewhat frustrated breath, but he knew what he'd signed up for and made his best effort not to show anything. Having the young student make demands of his own was probably not what Platina was needing right now.

"Yes indeed. I didn't expect these contacts to bother me so much..." Platina sighed and hugged Daniel's arm tightly for a moment. He walked with the man back to his hotel, humming. "How is school?" They talked often, but it was much nicer to hear Daniel talk directly to him. It felt intimate, nicer. Platina smiled to himself. He was just glad he could be with Daniel again.

"Ah, you know. Lot's of theories, little practice. I was talking to Kai about it when I arrived. He said I should be patient, and I guess he's right. But I really like what I do, I just wish I could actually do something soon. Oh, sorry, I'm preaching again." Daniel smiled and waved his hand apologetically. "It was nice to take a break, though. Glad I don't have any classes on mondays this term, this way I can come more often. But what about you, what have you been up to lately, little dragon?"

Beneath his protective layer of face paint Cin blushed something fierce. "Ah, well. I mean, I don't think I really know how to be a proper tour guide... But I do know a few spots." One of his ears flicked and the prospect of leading a group of people around made him want another smoke. "I mean, do you all like clubs?" Taking them into the underground was immediately marked off the list but Cin knew a place who had close relations to the brewery beneath the ground and was rumored to have a direct line to their store room. "Or ah, some one said Jax was having a party later... Maybe something more fancy like that would float your boat." Cin grinned a stupid grin carefully avoiding conversation about the man he had mentioned looking for earlier. It wasn't like Cin had any actual plans, that night or ever. So why was it that he felt so peculiar about spending it with this group of people? Silently the youth cursed himself for being so close minded and without realizing he had done it, exhaled another plume of smoke into the air. Looking down at the cigarette that had appeared in between his fingers he shrugged off the feeling and decided to make the most of it.

Platina shook his head. "Nothing is new with me. I'm just... boring as ever, you know. I have thought about trying to take up a new line of work but I don't know that it'll take off or even begin if I try. I wish I had something as constant as school to keep me occupied." But he was past that age, he supposed. It wouldn't be a hand thing to try and take it up again, but he didn't know what he would study. That was another good question.

"We can only hope," Kia said rolling her eyes as she sat down and crossed her legs, showing quite a bit of bare thigh between her skirt and her knee high stockings. "Perhaps if Mother had a pet she wouldn't feel the need to 'dote' so heavily on her children and I cannot take full credit for the drinks." Kia looked back where Lucas was still talking to Cin and point there. "If that painted man hadn't knocked into Lucas spilling one of the drinks I purchased we wouldn't have had enough for everyone."

Archer looked more than a little disappointed that Kai had moved off his lap but didn't say anything about it as he took a sip of his drink and found it a little sweet for his liking. "Ahh yes, thank you."

So far, Cin wasn't one of those types. "I think I'd rather avoid fancy," Lucas said sheepishly, rubbing the back of his neck. In his mind, there had been more than enough fancy going on at the Masquerade to last him all year. "I've never actually been here, and Kia's from Atebus, so it's kind of special. I was thinking we'd hit the pumpkin patch but it's pretty crowded..." Sure, it was touristy, but it was part of the Morostide experience.

"When it comes to us, I sometimes feel that her thought process may be 'I made those; look at how wonderful I am'." He gave an uncomfortable shrug and toyed with his signet ring. "Regardless. You look like you're enjoying yourself, Kia. I'm glad Lucas is finally taking some time off for himself."

"I've heard you play the violin. You play with such passion... why don't you try something with that?" Daniel bumped Platina's side playfully, trying to encourage him. "And you know you aren't boring at all, silly"

"No shit, the moon huh." His tail wagged unbeknownst to him. "I was there once, very briefly. Some sort of mask party or something. Way to fancy for my taste, not that it wasn't an experience to remember." Grinning Cin put out the remnants of his cigarette and stowed the rest back into its pack. "If you wana go pumpkin picking I know a back way, we won't have to pay Jax to get in." His grin widened. If anything was enjoyable it was skipping out on making payments. At least with others in tow if they were caught in the act he could pretend like he had nothing to do with it. Even if he knew Jaxon wouldn't believe any of it. The idea made him chuckle. "Pumpkins are fun but their stems can be prickly." About as prickly as their cultivator on any given day. If Lucas wanted less fancy pumpkin picking was just about as far from fancy as the underground was from living. Glancing across the way Cin gave Kia's twin and the other man a once over. They looked friendly enough, maybe even familiar. Not having the best memory Cin couldn't place it but figured he probably caught a glimpse of them during his visit to Atebus.
