Hello my lovies! It's been a brutal few weeks for me, but finally it's looking like I can breathe somewhat easy and get back to some sort of normal life hahah. I can't wait to check out all the things with this event and see what they have in store for us. Hows everyone doing??
Right now I am in the midst of packing for our move to our new house next week. So basically it involves me making a lot of lists, labeling a ton of boxes and trying not to drive my boyfriend completely insane, lol. The kids are good, busy little munchkins that they are. The new house is super awesome because it is only a few houses away from their dad, so they dont need to change daycare. How are things with you?
I'm going to start it and invite people. We can still edit it after but at least we can get it started. Any band name suggestions? I put The Fuzztastics for now. I dont want us to be left out lol
Our band is starting to look very punk/rock
Of course we are! There's nothing like 90's punk/rock!
Very nice, very nice. I had planned an outfit this morning before work, and I saw my mic and thought well... why not? Tried to look very punky/rebel garage band deal. And finally something to wear this hair with.
Ive been working on this for a little bit, had nothing planned though. Used your guys for inspiration and went from there. Work has been crazy and then today the whole store went 40% off, including our brand new fall stock...insane
Yeah! You've got to go for popin' outfits and awesomeness. I see you have my color bands, it's a good thing to wear for this. Concert players always have wrist bands.
Yeah, there's been tons of work going on at Stanley Bridge, making lots of money finally and it's fun with good people. :)
Thats awesome. They picked a both awesome and terrible week to do this. Great because of sales but terrible because I will be exhausted for the move on Saturday lol
I'm totally cool with having a punk/rock look. :) Edgy soul music is fabulous. I wish the keyboard would become wearable so I can put it on my HA. I guess I'll settle for a guitar for now. xD
Double posted, whoops.
Yeah, I've got a bit of a busy week too and of course I only get a few hours in the day between getting home and needing to go to bed. xD
Even the keytars are far and few between. Or too expensive. I wonder if the staff will put up more instruments at one point...
We are an awesome looking band. They made a bunch of the instruments wearable but they arent the cool ones (triangle or didgeridoo anyone lol)
And all I have are a few guitars, nothing different either. Ahh well, we'll just have to be super cool without a didgeri-duo.
I thought all the cool kids wanted one...im so not with it
Sweet new look! Like a blue Avril Laveigne!
I have always wanted to wear this wig but could never find an outfit to go with it.
And this posted three times....stupid weird glitch
The keyboard is wearable! :D Now we really look like a band - vocalist, guitarist, and keyboarder. Well, we will once the battle of the bands preview page updates to show my shiny new instrument. xD
I think we're fine sticking with the Fuzztastics as a name, I can whip up a short blurb about how we first met as Naughty Nip zombies and stayed friends after Pandemic. Then Peka-Boo came up and we, being musically inclined, decided to put together a band and join in the fun. :)
I just saw that on the front page, I was thinking you'd be pretty happy!
That sounds like a pretty good blurb to me, I'm fine with that. :)
It's a good wig for flipping around and spinning theatrically with pyro waterfalls.
Sounds awesome. I am not a writer lol. And i though the same thing once I seen it
During the Great Pandemic of 2011, Kaelie, Jindra and Blueflower met outside the Healer's Abode, all sporting what would later be identified as the early stages of the Naughty Nip virus. While waiting their turn, the three began chatting and soon discovered that the little pink marks on their chests weren't the only thing they had in common. Soon, they were smiling in each other's company and decided to approach the situation with excitement rather than fear. A few days later, they had explored Shadowglen, shopped at the Zombie Den, and formed a fast friendship with several other pink-fuzzed zombies-to-be. Even after a cure was found, they remained close over the years and always regarded themselves as Naughty Nip zombies at heart. When Peka-Boo event notices began going up on bulletins everywhere, the three thought that forming a band could be great fun. Kaelie had a great voice, Jindra knew how to strum a guitar, and Blueflower had played the keyboard as a hobby for years. They didn't know what kind of sound they would create together, but R&B and Soul music had always been close to their hearts. Despite having never performed together on a stage, they decided to jump into the experience with excitement and optimism, just as they did during the Great Pandemic all those years ago.
Feel free to edit / add as you see fit! :) Also, sorry that I posted this so late, I was coming back to university from home today and the trip got unexpectedly delayed. =S
EDIT: Oops, forgot Band registration closed today - ah well, I'll leave this blurb up for entertainment / amusement value. xD
