Owl-based Pet?

I have no bird pets at the moment, but I do know if there was an owl I would have to have it :D

Oh dear god yes please. One of my recent pet/character ideas is an owl; none of the current bird pets look particularly like owls, as many have already stated. I believe they're different enough to warrant their own species. =3 In any case... I'd snatch up an owl pet in a heartbeat. ;A;
I stumbled across owl photos earlier today and I suppose I'm rather subeta-obsessed because the first thing I thought of was 'aww I wish I could make an owl subeta pet'. I figured there would probably be a thread about it by now and /bang/ It was indeed.
Well surely the lain would be a close contender but the lain doesn't seem to be meant to be a fluffy featherball but more of a graceful sort of bird (imo). IN A NUTSHELL, totally up for an owl-based pet. :D

I would love an owl-themed pet. I already plan on making one of my current pets owl-ish, but the closest species I can find is the Fester, which still leaves a lot to be desired in terms of what I'm looking for.
An owl would be perfect! There's no doubt that I would be getting one.
