My goodness! I would LOVE this! I'm not a huge owl fan, but my girlfriend is! The pet I made for her would be changed so quickly~
Hedwig is most def a snowy owl, not barn. ;)
i would totally drop/change one of my already exisiting pets to have an owl pet. They are one of my favorite animals so im totally all for this!!
I must've gotten them confused because in a few scenes Hedwig almost looks like a barn owl.

I was going to say just make an overlay for a lain... but then I shook the crazy thought out of my head.
IMO Lains don't really resemble owls at all. They resemble songbirds.
I wonder what owl species it would be based off ultimately? Or if it would be ground or wing based?
If Subeta based any owl pet off of Barn Owls, they could be called "Tytos", etc...any name ideas? :)

YES PLEASE. it's just not the same that Pigwidgeon is a lain.
I would be the happiest person ever if this was implemented. I know we already have so many birds, but an owl is unique on it's own.
I'm down for this cause, owls are awesome. And I agree that an owl would be different enough from the other birds to warrant it's own kind of pet.

I'm a huge fan of owls. Honestly, I don't really care what kind of owl it will be. We just really need one! Even.. Years ago, people have been asking for an owl-based pet, or even just an owl-based experiment.
