Lacy smiled at Akinori. "Likewise." She then looked at Justin then Vincent "It don't matter to me, whenever you guys wanna do it."

Ooc: probably won't be on much for two weeks, my dad's computer is somewhat broken

Naofumi nodded. "You're probably right." He said weakly. His cat ears were flat against his head and his face was losing color. He yelped as the needle pierced his skin but relaxed a bit as his whole body went numb. Akinori smiled wearily. "I have a...what?" He asked, tilting his head to the side cutely. "I think I'll try and get to class. I don't want to miss the first day of school." He started to make his way to Art but fell onto his hands and knees. "Crap." He whispered to himself. "C'mon body, move!"

Akinori nodded before smiling at Lacy. "Mhm." "We'll do it at lunch. Right now we gotta get to Art." Cloud said breaking the silence. "Right. Follow us." Justin said. They walked to the Art classroom and sat down at a table. "I think we're painting today." Akinori murmured.

"Don't try to move; numbness can last up to an hour if you're lucky." She smiled weakly at him and held out her hand to him."I can't let him hurt himself again..." she thought to herself. "Come on, I'll help you." she said quietly, although she had a bad feeling about this. She didn't want to tell him about the curse mark; it'll make things worse for him. Her brother had something similar, but she knew how to deal with it. Avoid the trigger. With every mark, there's a trigger that sets it off. Kiyoshige's one was the scent of human flesh, and her own was seeing a loved one get hurt. But they were Beast marks; once the trigger was set off, they'd go savage. Naofumi had a curse mark, which was alot worse. But there's a catch to it. You can control it. "Nao? Listen, can you meet me in the alleyway by that small cafe after school? I...Need to talk to you 'bout something important." she said, smiling warmly at him. "Don't look so glum...." she pouted, poking his ears lightly. "When you smile, everyone smiles with you! Don't make them sad too," she stated somewhat childishly, giggling.

Lacy followed and sat with them at the table. "I was told im good at painting.." she said.

"Seriously?! I thought it depended on what species you were. Cats heal quite quickly...I think." Naofumi said. It was clear that he was unsure though. He looked up at Rainy's outstretched hand. He put his hand in hers and allowed her to help him up. "Sure. But you'll have to help me around so I last that long." He smiled in a childish way. He laughed as she poked his ears. He was extremely ticklish around the ear area. "Should we go?" He asked.

Justin looked at Lacy's painting. "That's really good." He smiled. "It's much better than mine." He looked at his painting of his dog, Sam. Cloud was drawing a picture of Tifa and him. "I miss you so much...Tifa..." He whispered, a tear dropping onto the table. Akinori's cat ears twitched. He looked at Cloud but decided not to ask anything.

Lacy smiled at Justin "thanks.."

Using her tail, she whips out a small book from her bag and places a pair of reading on the bridge of her nose. She flicks the pages violently, making a harsh crackling sound. "According to my records...Well, these are Mi's, but I stole em'..." She whispered the last part under her breath, giggling at the thought. "Well, it states that bats take approximately 4 hours to recover," She flicked the pages again. "..And cats take up to...4 hours and 10 minutes!" She laughed warmly, snapping the book with a shut and dropping it onto her tail, which acted as a third hand and caught it before slotting it neatly into her bag. She sighed happily as she walked with him to the art rooms. "You're so different Nao," she whispered under her breath. "For once in my life, I feel happy."

"You're welcome Lacy." Justin smiled. Akinori looked at Vincent, Lacy and Justin. "Anyone know what's up with Cloud?" He asked. He flicked his tail and looped it around a chair leg.

"Oh, that's a little shorter than the time left at school." Naofumi said, smiling weakly as he began to limp to the Art room. His cat ears twitched as he heard Rainy say something but he couldn't quite pick up the words she had said. All he heard was 'Nao' and 'happy'. He wondered what it meant. They soon arrived at the classroom. Naofumi opened the door and quickly scanned the room. There were no seats left on the table with Cloud and the others but there was a table with two seats in the corner. He pulled Rainy over to the table and sat down.

Lacy looked at Cloud then Akinori and whispered "Umm, I don't know, do you want me to ask him?"

"Kaede? Wake up!" Somebody prodded at her arm. She could hear whispers from around her. Her clothes felt strangely warm and soft, not wet like before. It was impossible to move slightly too. Had she been paralyzed for life? And yet...She could barely remember what happened a few hours ago. Everything was a total blank. Her eyes creaked open and she looked around hazily through half-open eyes. She looked down at herself, and found that her immobility was caused by blankets wrapped tightly around her; entombing her. After freeing an arm, she looks around once more. Her brothers, her parents, and some doctors were around her bed. "What....What happened?" was the first queston that passed her lips. She gazed at the white walls, polished floors, drawn curtains. She was in a hospital, or rather the medical ward in her home. Her parents turned their heads away from their daughter, looking disgusted. "You were sobbing in the rain at first, but you started to shriek loudly and then you simply passed out. We've been trying to wake you for days....We thought you were dead..." Kyle, Kaede's older brother whispered. Kaede rolled to one side and started to sob. "We saw the body and brought it back to be buried...We're so sorry for your loss.." She gripped her cat plush tightly. Now that she knew who that guy that she'd seen die was, she couldn't be happy anymore.

Rainy slumped on the desk, her chin resting on her hands. The teacher came over, towering above the two. But once he focused on Rainy's face a bit more, he nodded nervously and walked back to his desk in haste. "Sir, we need canvases..." Rainy muttered coldly. He shook his head. "Sorry, we have none left." "I said, we need canvases." Rainy repeated again, her pupils narrowing. He opened a desk drawer and took out two large canvases, and placed them on their desk. Rainy KNEW he had canvases hidden in there; she had seen them before. He didn't want to give her any, so that was why she persisted. She smiled at Nao and held out a canvas to him. "Here you go," There was already a paint pallette and the other equipment on the desk, so she didn't need to get up. "I don't know how to paint...Back home we simply drew with lumps of charcoal, or did our calligraphy with some fat brushes!" She laughed heartily, somewhat nervous.

"sorry im late guys, hi miss Lacy nice to meet you i need to ask you guys something? has anyone cleaned out kazuki's house yet? and shall we ditch school today i really cant be b-o-t-h-e-r-e-d today im too tired." Hana-shi asked he knew about being dead already he closed his eyes remembering the past

Before hana-shi moved to toyko he lived in america. on a cold winters evening when the wind blew like the slow tides past him but unlike the slow tides he was being pushed under the water in the new york harbor his legs had froze up and he was drowning, back then his eyes were still green and back then he was rubbish at everything and everything and everyone refused him. above the water a sat on the edge on the land. Hana-shi sleintly cried out dont see me dont save me! from under the water

"Um, you can if you want." Akinori said, picking up a paintbrush using his tail. He dipped the brush in the black paint and began to paint on his blank canvas. "That's fine by us Hana-shi." Vincent said. "The teacher was late anyway." "Well we can't really leave. We gotta show Lacy around at lunch-time." Justin added.

Naofumi looked up at the teacher and blinked his big red eyes. He growled quietly when the teacher refused to give them canvases. He banged his fist onto the table and muttered, "Just because we're different." He then looked at Rainy. "I know how to paint but I can't say I'm very good." He grinned nervously. He picked the paintbrush up with his tail and began to paint in a delicate manner.

Rainy blinked and copied him, but her tail was like a brush in a way, so she needn't bother with one. She glanced at Naofumi quickly. She admired him in a way, and smiled at him before starting her work. She submerged the tip of the furry area at the end of her tail into a large pot of black paint, her green eyes silent with focus. The tip of her tail touched the soft fabric of the canvas, and a large black streak flew across it, creating an elegant, yet slanted line. She chose pink next, daubing various shades of pink where the line ends, creating a tree. Very abstract, but atleast she liked it. More streaks at the bottom of the canvas, but much shorter and this time varying shades of green. Grass. She stands back to admire her semi-finished work, streaks of paint across her cheek and clothes. Rainy's 2nd tail shoots out, grasping the small handbook that she stole from Mi and she reaches down and picks it up, flicking through it. "Hmmm....Okay." There were some diagrams on the page, and seeing as Rainy did not know how to draw them, she had to look and copy them somewhat. Atlast, after 9 minutes, she wiped the paint off of the tip of her tail, and once again stood back to admire her work. "Nao? Whaddya think?" she asked, cocking her head. On the base of the page, sitting on the grass, was a little bat and a cat.

Lacy just sat there smiling, touching up her drawing.

Naofumi noticed Rainy glance at him but by the time he had looked towards her, she had turned away. He smiled gently and fiddled with the bandages across his chest. He dipped the paintbrush into the blue paint and began to paint what seemed like the sky. But then he twisted his canvas the other way so the blue turned into an ocean. Then he got the white paint and painted a white line above the blue. He sat back for a while to allow his tail to rest. "Hmm?" Naofumi looked at Rainy's painting. "It's...amazing. Hey, that's me!" He said pointing to the cat.

"So Lacy...you moved here today?" Akinori asked, running his hand through his hair. By now Cloud was leaning back in his chair, nearly asleep. Vincent prodded him with the end of his paintbrush. "You can stay awake for ten more minutes, can't you Cloudy?" He asked, smirking slightly. "Yeah, if you don't call me Cloudy." Cloud whispered harshly. "Your drawings really good Lacy." Justin said, smiling as he watched her hand dance across the canvas.

Lacy smiled, still painting and said "Yeah, my dad works here. and thank you Justin, that's sweet of you to say."

Rainy giggled nervously and smiled. "Thanks! It's pretty decent for my first try, no?" She paused. "You like it? I mean, you don't mind me putting you in my work, do you?" She ran her finger along the fine abstract lines of the tree, and stopped dead. Her finger quivered as she drew it back sharply, and she shut her eyes tight. She'd remembered something painful. The time that she and her dying once love, sat side by side next to the tree, Rainy spending his final hours with him. The paint brush dropped onto the floor with a clatter. Grasping the table to steady herself, she shakes her head over and over, as if trying to will herself to rid her mind of these intrusive thoughts.

Ooc: well...i finished designing this character at school today (finally) and i just had to add him

Above his eyes he wears a little bit of black make-up but he is straight.

Tamaki walked into the Art class and sat opposite Rainy and Naofumi. He sighed and looked at the table, letting his soft white hair flop forwards. He didn't make eye-contact as he was afraid that they would make the mistake of calling him a girl.

Akinori smiled gently. "Cool." He said, watching the door as a white haired girl (at least he thought it was a girl) entered the room. He watched them cross the room and sit down with his brother and Rainy. "Hey Lacy. It looks like you're not the only new kid in town." He said, looking at her with a gleam in his eye. Ed and Alec looked up from their work as he said that. (sorry i forget about them for a bit) They were waiting for the end of the lesson. "You're welcome Lacy." Justin said, smiling warmly.

Naofumi's tail flicked gently. "Well, it's better than my first attempt at drawing." He laughed lightly. "No I don't mind. I'm privaliged that you put me in your art." He looked at her finger trace the tree delicately. When she started shaking her head, he cocked his head to the side in confusion. "Hey, calm down." He said gently, putting his arm around her shoulder. "It's ok. Just relax."

Rainy hiccuped suddenly, and huddled up into the warm scarf around her neck, smiling warmly. She liked it when Naofumi was around; she felt like how she used to, years before she came here. A feeling that she'd often thought would never return. A stranger entered the room, and planted himself in the chair opposite. Rainy breathed in heavily, and at last, sat back with a gentle sigh, observing. She'd already assessed him with his scent, his looks, everything. But not his personality. "Who are you?" she asked, biting her lip so fiercely that it bled.

Lacy looked up and over to the kid that had just walked into the room as Akinori said something bout it "Ohh." She then looked over at Justin and smiled.
