Ooc: Brockoli! your avi reminds me of Rainy.

Bic: Cloud and Justin had left the house early to go shopping. They had just finished and were heading home when they noticed Rainy and Elegy walking out of Rainy's house holding boxes and crates. They dashed over. "Hey Rainy. You leaving town?" Cloud asked, a puzzled expression painted on his face. Justin stood there facing the ground. It was a while before he finally said, "Kazuki's dead." The first tears fell as he looked up at Rainy. You could see the sadness in his eyes as the tears rolled down his cheeks.

Akinori and Naofumi jumped down from the roof of Rainy's house. "You're leaving Rainy?" Naofumi said sadly. His black cat ears were back and his usually happy face had transformed into a look of utter sadness. "Why?" Akinori's face twisted into a scowl. "I told you not to trust her Nao. It's your fault that you got hurt." "Just shut up!" Naofumi yelled. "I wouldn't expect you to understand!" He turned his back on Akinori before saying, "You never could understand me..."

hana-shi found his spare key and got in his home. he walked though the hall it suddenly feeling really cold. he ran to his room and slung on shorts and a vest. he was too impatient to put shoes on so just ran out side with socks on. he caugth up to justin and shook him silly " Your joking rigth? please tell me it isnt true !" his eyes turned gold trying to change the past, trying to stop that explosion from killing him.

"I'm not joking Hana-shi. We just gotta accept the fact that he's no longer with us..." Justin cried. His tears hit the floor. "His funeral's in a week. You're invited Rainy and Mr here can come too...that is if you can come..." Cloud said putting the shopping bags down.

Elegy blinked. Normally, he'd rip out somebodies throat for talking to him like that. Mr? He wouldn't have any of it, but this time, he just smiled. Rainy's smile stretched into a large grin. "Well, we're not moving. I just need to get some things taken care of back home. Fill out some orders.... My markings all need approval... It'll take about....3 days," Rainy giggled and swept her hair out of her eyes, before flushing pink. "It's nice to know that some people care though...Thanks!" She placed her hands on Naofumi's cheeks and gazed deep, as if to look right through him. "But....Take care while I'm gone, ok?" She tapped him on the nose affectionately, before re-hoisting the crate into her arms. Elegy took the large pair of aviator sunglasses balancing on his scruffy hair and pushed them into place on the bridge of his nose. "We make regular appearances at funerals, no matter who it is." Elegy spat, looking disgusted. Rainy was perched on the edge of her crate, which she had set down on the path again. She had a blank look on her face, but at the same time, seemed relatively disgusted. "I don't see what the fuss is all about." Rainy stated out-of-the-blue. "If somebody dies, they die. I guess we've just learned to deal with it however." Rainy paused and shut her eyes gently. "We're like....the gatekeepers. They pay us, we escort the soul to their respectful district. No pay; no escort." Elegy smirked. "Well, we'd best be on our way." he stated somewhat off-handishly. "I suppose we'll attend. As long as there's a decent pay." He grinned sheepishly once he realized that the two sentences rhymed. A true genius I'm sure. Rainy nudged him sharply. "Come on. My appointment's in an hour. That gives me enough time to stop off at home before the procedure." And with that said, the duo head down the road towards the forest looming in the distance, overlooking the vast areas of housing. Rainy stops at the peak of the road, still in sight and waves. "I'll see you soon!" And they slowly bob out of sight.

Meanwhile, Kiyoshige was sitting on a roof's edge, his legs hanging over the side, a hoodie belonging to a guy named 'Brock' over his shirt. It masked his scent, but however, the stench was unbearable.... To a creature with a highly sensitive nose, that is. He was sitting on the roof of a church, watching a funeral take place. He was the gatekeeper for this funeral today, and as soon as that last shovel of earth was dumped on top of the coffin, he would make his ascent to the gateway. Several bats hung from the tree's branches. As in, the actual animal itself. But Kiyoshige wasn't blind. They were like him, only they immigrated and now live here, in this town. They were 56th district bats, capable of transforming into their true animal selves. They watched Kiyoshige eagerly, and even the ones on the trees higher than the church roof immediatly slipped down a branch lower, or held their heads low. They had some respect for his being, which was good. He stood up gently, and walked on thin air; something that you could only do if you were an accomplished gatekeeper (meaning you've done it more than 250 times) towards the grave. Upon arriving, he stood on it. They couldn't see him, but the soul of the dead certainly could. But at that precise time, the soul vanished. Kiyoshige's blood froze in his veins. His heart skipped a beat, before leaping into 100 miles-per hour action. Souls don't vanish until they reach, and go through the gate. This was abnormal.

Bic: "Oh, I just thought that...because you were holding crates...you were moving..." Cloud said. "You're welcome by the way." He smiled. "I'll miss you Rainy." Justin said, hugging Rainy and burying his head in her shoulder. "So much..." Naofumi smiled slightly. "I will. Have a safe journey." He ruffled Rainy's hair gently. Akinori sighed quietly. "You're such an idiot Nao but still...I'm glad we're together again..." He thought. "Hey Mr! What's your name?" Justin asked Elegy.

Ooc: Dude, I am totally stuck.. I don't know how to start off my character.. Ha.. Too much on my mind..

Ooc: maybe Lacy could be in the street when she sees a group of interesting looking people and she decides to go and introduce herself because she's new in the neighbourhood?

Bic: Lacy was walking home from the guitar store when she saw a group of people. Lacy didn't know anyone in this town cause she had just moved. She decided to go introduce herself, hoping she would make new friends. Which she was never good at doing.. She walked over to the group and said "Hi! My name's Lacy. I'm new here. I just moved just a couple houses away."

ooc: This post is quite...long. Seeing as I don't want to miss out alot of things, I've decided to squeeze it in on one handy post. Technically speaking, I'm putting in parts that I don't want to skip before Rainy goes to the funeral XD

Bic: Elegy winced as he started to walk on the narrow path leading to the forest. He heard what Justin said, and he didn't like it. At all. Turning on his heel he stomps back towards them, his face twisted into a scowl. "Don't call me Mister!" he barked heatedly, his hands twitching behind his back. Eager for a fight, as per usual. "If you want a name, call me Elegy, or even my REAL name, Eric! Just....Don't call me mister!" He panted heavily, as if in a race, before he breathed out slowly and smiled. "Even though we won't be gone for long, I can tell Rainy will miss you guys alot." He looked towards the forest doubtfully. "Here." In his outstretched hand, was a small red pouch, not even the size of his thumb. It was just the right size for a coin, or small pearl. Elegy, (or Eric) stated this with a gleam in his eye. "Remember, place it in the mouth of the corpse," There was an ominous pause. "If there is one." Elegy chuckled to himself quietly and walked back over the road, and onto the little narrow path.

"That HURTS!!" The clinic was abuzz with the sounds of shrieks and screams, sending the patients in the waiting room into an anxious chatter. Rainy was getting her markings approved, and that was a painful task, as well as noisy. She'd gotten home safely, but was unprepared for the massive amount of pain she was to go through. She was NOT used to it, unlike her siblings. But, Elegy was grasping her hand tightly, his face also screwed up in pain. He could feel the bones of his hand breaking under Rainy's immense gripping power and sheer strength. Atlast, after 13 minutes of torment, the procedure was over, and Rainy was allowed to leave; hastily in fact. Elegy was limply attempting to move his bones back into place whilst he walked behind Rainy. " You really crushed my hand you know," he stated. Unwisely. Rainy turned to him, her eyes like the small flicker of the flame inside a lighter; which grew to that of a blaze in an open field. Then, her face, which was distorted into an ugly scowl smoothed down. She reached out and held Elegy's limp hand. Utterly shattered. "I'm sorry. I-I didn't-" She was silenced by Elegy raising his hand. "Say no more. It's okay." he replied quietly, winding a lock of Rainy's hair around his finger, before letting it spring back. "I'll just go to the doctors." But Rainy had already pulled some bones back into place. He clenched his hand into a fist. It felt....normal. In fact, it felt much better than before he broke it. Well, before Rainy broke it. Elegy stared before thanking her, still in awe. It was time to go their own ways now; just until Rainy finished other jobs she needed to do. So they parted without any of them saying so much as a single word.

Rainy sat still in her faded sofa, sipping a mug of chai tea. Her entire body was numb and freezing cold, so she'd managed to contact a good friend to help her get back on track. A large blanket wrapped around her, she snuggles deeper into it and sighs. She was in her working area; a large shack that had nothing but a mud floor with a small carpet draped over it, a large fireplace and kiln, a small section for cooking and a natural hot spring out the back. Overall, it was lousy compared to her immensly large family home. But it was only temporary, as she'd normally spend 2-3 days working in here before returning back to her real home. But she got to admit, it cosy. With an overwhelming smell of burning insence and food. "Thanks alot Mi." Rainy smiled, sipping a freshly brewed mug of tea gratefully. Mi, a young woman smiled back, before slipping her arms through her jumper sleeves and standing before the front door. Rainy got up, her body warmed and no longer numb, and hugged her tightly. Mi smiled knowingly. "Just like when you were little..." she murmured, patting Rainy on her head. She undid the latch of the creaky front door and stepped out, before shutting it behind her carefully. Rainy, knowing that she wouldn't be lectured at if she went out, folded up the blanket and washed the mug hastily, before placing it one hook out of several sticking out of the wall. With that finished, she stepped out from the front door and started to sprint towards a cave opening, before running through it and exiting out into the forest. She made it back, and proceeded to go to her house, where she would sit completely still and meditate, until it was time for the funeral.

Bic: "Sorry. I just didn't know your name." Justin stammered. Cloud looked at Lacy. "Cloud Strife. It's nice to meet you. This is Justin Bieber and Vincent Valentine." He said gesturing to Justin and Vincent. "Nice to meet you Lacy." They said, smiling warmly at Lacy. "I'm Akinori Nagasaki and this is my younger brother Naofumi Hiroshima. We're also new around here." "Don't be alarmed by our cat ears. We're part-cat." Naofumi said. "Oh...and you can call us "Aki" and "Nao" for short." He added, smiling slightly.

Eric was sitting by himself on a low rooftop, not caring who's house it was whatsoever. A few small bats were perched on his shoulder, jostling for space. Waving one hand absently, they scatter and cling onto the roof ledge instead, squeaking and flapping noisily. "What should I do?" he asked himself. "I'm so BORED." He sighed. With nothing to do, the only option he had now was to go about the town and flirt with people. As much as he enjoyed it, he had often found it getting him several girlfriends he doesn't know about....As well as boyfriends. Thus, he kept it restricted. He shook himself mentally. "No, No! I can't do that..." He thought wistfully for a moment. "Although..." Clambering down from his precarious perch, he lands on the balls of his feet, and springs into a sprint to Rainy's house.

"Wait...what? You're STILL here?!" Eric asked the group in front of Rainy's house in suprise. He consulted his watch irritatedly. Then he just stared with a blank expression. Before exploding. "And you bought with you MORE people?! Go and mooch in front of someone elses' house!" "Shut UP Eric!" Rainy hit him on the head and smiled at everybody. "Well, it's nice to see a new face around here. Not many move to these parts you know," Rainy smiled at Lacy. "I just returned from my trip to my family home, so it's good I came back here early! I'm Rainy by the way." Rainy dug her elbow into Eric's side. "I'm Eric...Or Elegy..." he whispered reluctantly. "We're halfies too... "

Lacy smiled at all the people. "It's nice to see that there are nice people here." she smiled. "Where I used to live, people used to pick on me for being different." she looked down then smiled. "But it's okay, they got what came to them." She looked up at the crowd of people. "Nice to meet all of you, although, Eric seems to not like people at all..." she giggled.

Ed peered out from behind Cloud. "Hey don't forget me." He said angrily. "I'm Edward Elric the Full Metal Alchemist." "And I'm Alec Kira." Alec said, stepping out of the shadows. "We'll be out of your way soon Eric. We're about to head to school." Cloud said, glaring a bit at Eric. He turned to Lacy. "You go to our school right?" He asked her.

Eric blushed a painful red. "N-no..! I just happen to..." He shuffled his feet shyly. "Umm...." He gave up and hid his face in his hands in complete shyness, until Rainy poked him in the ribs. "...Be impatient with people...." he whispered at last, grinning somewhat sheepishly. "Lacy, I think you have a fanboy." Rainy giggled half-mockingly. Eric glared at her, his eyes ablaze, before his scowl softened into a little smile. "Trust me, sometimes I think he's always this shy around girls." Eric covered Rainy's mouth with his hand. "You DON'T think. Just DON'T!" Eric barked quickly, taking care not to hurt his friend before removing his hand. Eric willed himself mentally to try and break out from this unbearable shyness, digging his nails into the palm of his hand in the process. "So...Lacy... What are you doing around here then?" Rainy stared at him as if her were mad. "Where have you been?" she asked in disbelief through gritted teeth. "Have you always been this stupid?" Then Rainy realized. "Oh, wait. You're BORED. Go and flirt with the door or something." Rainy muttered, gesturing vaguely at the door to her house. "I was about to flirt with you, stupid." Rainy hit him on the head. "Don't be so idiotic." But she smiled heartily at him. It slipped. "We'll see you guys later. I have to spend some time alone." she whispered almost sadly, and withdrew into her house.

Lacy smiled at Cloud. "Of course I do, I only live like two houses away. And nice to meet you Edward and Alec." Lacy looked at Rainy then Eric. "Hmmm, not used to all this drama. But like I said, Eric, I live like two houses away from this one." She pointed to her house that was in view. "My dad just got a job at the school, he's like a music teacher or something. I don't remember, I try not to pay any attention to my father." She looked down at her studded bracelet and started playing with the studs. "Never met a shy guy before. It's somewhat adorable." (Lacy tends to speak her mind alot) She reached in the front pocket of her skinnies and pulled out her cellphone. Only to find out she has two texts from her dad saying she is registered into the school and to try to make friends this time.

"Ok, well...we are about to head to school. You can come with if you want." He got onto his motorbike and started the engine. "Hurry up Vincent!" He half-yelled. "Oh and Lacy do you want a lift?" He asked, patting the seat behind him. Justin, Vincent, Alec and Ed jumped into the side-car and waited for Lacy's response. "See ya at school Rainy." Naofumi said cheerfully as he followed Akinori onto the rooftop. They prefered to run to school. You could call it "instincts".

Lacy smiled at him. "Sure!" She went over to the motorbike and hopped on the seat behind him, putting her arms around his waist.
