I've totally been meaning to sign up for netflix. And I get 2k csc handed to me for doing so through subeta? Glorious!

In all seriousness, this is awesome. I threw the side-eye at first, but just the fact that these are all confined to one area and you don't -have- to do any of them is great. It's not like there are suddenly ads all over the place. If you don't trust them, don't click them. Pretty easy, no?

It may sound coceited of me but i honestly hope theres no other way to earn free CSC for users around site. This is one thing but if its kept up i honestly feel it will deflate the CSC making fewer users donate. And then itll mean more sponsers Ect Ect.

Maybe use a new currancy where its LIKE CSC and can use them in the CSC shop but you need like 3 times the amount of them. So it wont deflate the SCS.

Or more 'sales'

but just handing out free CSC defetes the purpose of CASH shop credits.

I dont know i see why there doing this but Im a bit iffy on how -Free- Cash shop credits will affect the economy of subeta since all thouse 25 - 100 CSC items will probably deflate increddibly and it may jump to the bigger items eventually depending how many CSC people can obtain by doing thouse things.

So I'm still a bit lost. I received a portion of the CSC from the things I've done but one (which is the first I did) still hasn't shown up. Is it something to just get over as it's not 100% Subeta or do we file a ticket?

Seriously, people are not seeming to understand that it costs money to support sites like this. And sure in a perfect wonderful world, everything could be totally paid for by the users buying in the cash shop. But that obviously isn't making enough. I hate how everyone is so rabidly against stuff like this. Even if there WERE like, one or two ads ON the site, OH GOD FORBID YOU SEE AN AD WHILE BROWSING SOMETHING I'M LEAVING SUBETA FOREVER.

But really. These aren't even ads ON the site. People are acting like we're being forced to do this stuff. It's your choice to ignore the warnings that were given, so if anything happens, really not Subeta's fault. I've been a supported of Subeta for over 3 years and I'm sick of people constantly bitching and moaning whenever ONE thing is changed, or something new happens.

In this world, money is needed to run things like Subeta. That's the reality of it.

I would never do the credit card ones, or even the ones that ask for me address, but I watched a few videos and got 33 CSC. I know it's a small amount, but it makes me happy. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping to run across more videos.

yay and agian i get to waite for prices of everything to finish being in flux... really this undermines the sp cost of everything because you've just lowered the value of csc which in turn makes the csc items prices flux which effects trades and all sorts of other things. yeup honestly i don't like the way the subetan economy has just been messed with but i'll hold off of buying things untill thing flux back out. and for those people who say it won't affect like i'm saying it will think all those people who get free csc have two choices, they can buy cards and sell them thus directly undermining csc costs because the market will be or can be flooded....or they buy items which lowers the demand for the csc items or they can flood the market with items....either way i'm not sure i like this just yet but as i have a ga in my vault i do have the right to fuss because i can activate that ga and thus inact the right to fuss.. as of right now i think it can go really badly...but i'm going to wait for now

It's not necessarily a bad thing, you guys. You can easily get 20 credits but just watching the videos which do nothing to your computer. As some have said this is an option you are not obliged to do any of these things.

As for the Subeta Team, thank you. Maybe there is the possibility you guys could come up with an all around on-site way to earn or gain CSC in the near future? I'm rooting for you and all the efforts put in to the site.

holy crap at everyone griping about this. you don't HAVE to use these. they are in that area and link OFFSITE so they do NOT. AFFECT. SUBETA. you do NOT have to use them! and if you do, as this post itself states, read the fine print and be cautious. if it seems shady, don't do it. it's just an option to be able to get csc and earn the site QUITE a bit of revenue. if this works like the one of drekly does, it might give subeta money just for having people view the site. yes they are on the site now, but you don't have to go anywhere near them. just because they're there doesn't mean subeta is suddenly going to start putting their ads in place of ours or anything. i have faith that if anything bad happens from this, such as a site infection or something highly unlikely like that, they'll kill this off. jeez. it's not like they're selling our information... YET. amirite? -eyeroll-

A few of the games on facebook have done something similar to this (sorority life being one). I've done tons of these to receive credits on other games and never have I gotten a virus.

Definitely a good concept, and I'm happy to have already received some CSC just for watching a video. (y)
But I feel as the legitimacy (Not on Subeta's part) really comes into play with some of these sites.

Not a fan. Sorry, I get why Subeta's doing this and I totally understand that you guys have to make a living but you're basically endorsing/affiliating yourselves with "things" (companies?) that you admit to not having any control over. How is that responsible? So it's ok if users get viruses/ spam because you've included one line of text absolving yourselves of any responsibility? If staff had "tested" these endorsements or at least proclaimed them to be safe then I'd feel much less apprehensive about using them. AS it stands, I think it's really irresponsible to affiliate the site with these shady looking sites, because you have to know that most of the younger kids on the site are going to haul ass to download/complete every single one without knowing of the possible consequences. And saying "you don't have to use them" doesn't change the fact that they're there.

Anyways, I'll continue to support the site by using paypal to buy my csc. I really hope that these sponsors ARE legit because I'd hate for Subeta to affiliate itself with anything shady or detrimental to its users :/

I'm curious about one thing. People keep mentioning watching videos, yet I only see 2 offers up right now, one for a casino and another for UseNext. It's set to display all offers. Now I'm curious. Do the offers displayed vary based on a user's location? Or is it first come, first serve?

I did the wowd one and got the credits already....some of them I definitely will do, others probably not. I guess you just have to be choosy with it...if you don't feel comfortable with it, then don't do it. And as to ads on the site, I'd rather they were limited to one page than all over the site. And honestly, the forum ads are internal for the most part, and by users so do they really even count as ads?

IDK, I'd rather hop on that Ultimate Gamer Card. Oh yes. I kind of wish at some point, though, subeta will have its own card. The Ultimate Gamer Card gets a percentage of sales, and subeta loses money on that. One day, eh?

Ugh, wouldn't touch anything I saw in there with a 20 foot pole, other than MAYBE the realplayer one. Last time I signed up for crap like that on a site, and I STILL can't get rid of all the spam from it! (I deliberately added the name of the site onto my first name, because I didn't entirely trust it.) Thanks, but not for me.

I like this option. It doesn't force ads on us, but gives us the option to view them and get Subeta some extra money, as well as CSC for ourselves! Good plan, guys.
