To be serious for a moment, something tragic happened recently in Haiti. I'm not going to go into details because if you've turned on a television or listened to the radio in the past week, you've heard the heartbreaking stories of children trapped under rubble for 6 days, or mothers lifting stones with their bare hands trying to find their babies.

I know that right now, no one has much to spare. If you have anything, there are <a href=https://hopeforhaitinow.org/Default.asp>multiple charities</a> that will put your money to the best possible use in Haiti, helping people who need it right now.

What a wonderful way to spread the word and help out, . I'm afraid I haven't got any extra money to spare, but my family and I have already given to the Hope for Haiti fund, so I feel a little better than if I'd done nothing at all. The bird is such a wonderful symbol. Thank you.

Thanks for this . I love the bird. Yesterday, we raised some money in the youth centre I volunteer at. We braided peoples hair, and sold food and drinks and had a lottery . Great to see how much people care

We had a tag day (Wear our own clothes, cause we're in the UK with shitty uniforms) and had to pay for it last friday to raise money for Haiti, so did a load of other schools around here. I keep seeing all these new stories and it's awful. Someone had been trapped for 8 days with no food or water, all on her own and said that she was still alive because she had faith that she would be found

The side is good at information. You but show arrived are; the entire things that at the airport, must distribute become urgently. I think is to be attended it better finally to the organization. Contributions are yet already enough underway and also arrived. It not yet can be hang remains that of all on the airport and die of thirst and starve the persons before the door. We happily should go being ourselves that it all well. Let's hope that we such a thing not even experience must.

While what happened in Haiti was tragic, I'm more concerned about the needy people in my own country, who have lived for years without help. Don't overlook their plight, either.

Our school is working also to donate money to Haiti. We've raised around 1500 USD so far, with many many more fundraisers to come. Hopefully we'll be able to help those in Haiti.
