Ever feel like 3 layers just isn't enough? Do you have the urge to layer as many translucent leggings as possible? Well, the <a href=/cashshop.php?act=items>Cash Shop</a> has a new item in stock for 100CSC!

Ooh La Layers will allow you to increase any layer by 1 spot, for a maximum of 3 slots per layer. For example, you can add <i>3</i> additional background slots, for a total of 6 if you have a GA.

The slots created with Ooh La Layers expire after 31 days.

Eh. This kind of disappointments me. The site is becoming way too commercial, and these expiring items are really pushing the limit. Yes, putting the GA into consideration this is cheaper, more ideal for avid HA makers and like the GA it expires. But if you really look into it for this you get 1 extra layer, not to mention on only one area for a dollar, for a month. A 1 month gold account adds a layer to all of the areas for 5 dollars (that's the equivalent of 24$ worth of ooh la layers), and has 9 extra features. So 1 feature for a dollar each, or 10 for 5. Getting what I'm saying at how this is a bit unreasonable? Don't get me wrong I understand that this site is a business. But it doesn't seem like this is going to be a big hit at the way it's going now. Either lowering the price, making it available for all layers, or making it permanent would have made this more successful in my mind. It might attract a few hardcore HA lovers for a while but the masses aren't going to buy into this.

Just keep in mind that many of us migrated from Neopets before it went commercial and changed the site completley, and marketed it to a young audience, and hence quit. Also not all of us are of age to have a credit card and be able to buy these things, so you might be loosing a some of the younger audience. I also don't want to see it going the way Gaia did with multiple expiring items (by the way I quit both of the mentioned sites). Although I'm glad to see we're out of the cash shop selling craze that we had a few months ago (where all of the normal items consisted of a couple of plain shoes), it still seems to be going in the same direction. This has dissuaded me I generally don't come on as often any more.

Look. All I'm trying to do is keep it in perspective. Yes, the economy is bad right now but the way that business tactics are being tackled aren't going well.

I really love the idea! Can there be a mega item that adds all the layers for a year like the 12month GA's too? Dude, I'd pay big money for that!

Not an amazing item. Rip Off, Unless you enjoy donating money to Subeta.. which I do at times to support the amazing artists and people who run the sight. But not for this item. Here is why:You pay $1 USD For one whole month you get to wear one extra item that you may not have been able to wear before. Think about it, what are you really getting?

Meh. It will be interesting to see what some people do with it, and maybe if I was rolling in dough/wearables someday I'd try it out, but it just doesn't seem practical to me. To those of you it does, more power to you.

And I'm glad that this site continues to release new content that doesn't have to do with the Cash Shop alongside new CSC items/features/etc

We-ell; I'm sure the HA fanatics won't find the expiration date vexing at all. On the whole I'd say they'd be much more glad for the fact that there's a way permitting them to use more layers even with the perceived drawback. I think it's a great idea~!

great idea but I also wish it didn't expire. I don't have the urge too often to buy a GA and use that extra layer we get. So basically, I don't really have the urge at all to get this. But that's just me.

this is nice, but i really wish it didn't expire. i might buy one if i have an avatar that i think really needas another layer, if not then i probably wont buy it.

however, i'm sure a lot of people will buy this! its a good idea!

LOVE. LOVE LOVE LOVE. I don't see anything wrong with the expiration date, lol. GAs expire too. c: Though if there was another item for like 5 dollars that would add the layer permanently I would be all over that.

I don't mind that it expires actually. I believe this is something that the staff said would never happen but yet here we are. I'm happy that I now have the option of adding extra layers and can now work on my masterpiece(lol). I could totally see myself buying 15 or more a month. Not necessarily to use in one go but I like that I can if I want to.

Seriously, its a buck. If it were any cheaper, we'd see so much clutter it would be ridiculous. This is genius. I'd think it is more for people who have that one layering combination that they couldn't achieve before rather than for people who want to pile on as many layers as possible.

I'd buy this if it wasn't for the fact that you only get to pick one layer. If this affected ALL layers I'd buy it, it would be like a GA but only with the layers part, and I think the 100 csc price would be fair because then people who buy a GA to only use the layers will have something they can use without having to pay for the other benefits of a GA that they never use.

Meh I actually think it being temp is more apt but applying to just one layer, if one was to really want to have it be meaningful it would require purchasing 3-5 so I would just opt for the GA which increases one slot in ALL areas plus gives other benefits as well. Pretty looking though!

I'll buy 2 most likely, one to read to my pet and one for the reading drive. Not an HA person but interesting concept. But expiring though...eh I'll pass on the wardrobe option.

I'm glad it expires. That means it'll pretty much only be for the people that care enough to have that many extra slots. The last thing we need is everyone running around with 6 slots for each layer. Say no to over cluttered avatars!~ Besides, its $1, what are you going to buy with ONE DOLLAR?

I was excited when I started reading this since I'm not a GA holder and sometimes I wish I had an extra face layer when creating a new HA. however, I don't think I'm going to purchase this item. according to the list of GA perks the extra layer is a tenth of the package, and this includes an extra slot for all layers; paying a fifth of the GA price for a one time slot for only one layer doesn't seem fully justified to my purse.

I can definately see the reasoning behind having to renew it, a single dollar isn't much it's true. But you still have to buy it in 500CSC packs =/ I think the expiration date should be longer than 1 month. =/
