We sent out an August Newsletter today, to all the users on the site via e-mail, with a link to redeemable items in it. We may be doing this in the following months, so make sure that your <a href=/preferences.php?act=profile>email information</a> is up to date.

If you did not get this email, I will be sending it out again in 24 hours to those who didn't redeem it today, and hopefully you'll get it then. At that point, I'll also make another news post with a link that works for all users. :)

The reason I'm doing that is I'd like to get the kinks worked out with the e-mail system instead of just throwing up a link on the news post, so that we can bring back some older users as well :)

Synbar, I've got Yahoo, too. Maybe it's just wanting to run slower with them. I know they can take a fair while with some sites.

Have not gotten mine (yahoo acct), and have got a filter set up to catch any virtual site emails in a special folder, so it should not be going to spam...waiting patiently (sort of).

I haven't gotten the email yet, and my addy is up-to-date. I'll keep an eye out for it in both my regular and spam folders, though. I love free items! This sounds like a great idea, and good enticement. I hope everything goes well.

My email info is correct yet I did not get it through AOL/AIM mail. Perhaps give us the email it is sent from so we can add it to our contacts? That often makes it easier to receive mail.
