I wonder what's inside! :o This is a thanks from the for being so patient with us this week. I know that there has been a lot of problems, and downfalls, but I also hope that we've started to earn your trust back :)! Note: Giveaway is over. If you want to know why there won't be anymore (at least with rare items, legendaries, cash shop items) take a look at the complaining nature in the forums. That is unfair, and the result of that is no more giveaways.

Giveaways tend to bring the worst out of people... Ive seen it first hand.I like giveaways too, but not when it causes everyone to act like little spoiled brats. Yes, I include both the complainers that dont get on in time or that they cant get a rare item, AND the braggers who constantly rub their winnings in peoples faces. I honestly think some people just dont have any shame and self-respect anymore, for them and others around them.I hate that it has to come to this. <img src="http://www.subeta.ws:8080/images/smilies/6398_emoticon_sad.gif" border="0" /> It seems as though the Jokers quote was right, when he was describing people in general. I'm really not happy about pitting one group of users against another. Putting the blame solely on one group is certainly easier than thinking about good solutions for everyone or other tactics. Some whining, some upset users hurt your feelings? Welcome to the world of online gaming customer management! I have seen much worse conflicts and these were dealt with much better. I love praise as well but you can't always expect your users to love you all the time and to accept all your decisions. Please do not take it personally and take it out by mocking the ones who are not reacting the way you want them to react.

I'm sorry things turned out like they did Keith. I was here for part of the give away when it started early this morning but I didn't pick up anything. I didn't take part in it because I felt didn't need it. You and the staff have done so much to make this site a wonderful place to be and that is more than thanks enough. This site is meant to be a fun safe place for all members of subeta . To much seems to be placed on item value lately and not enough on the simple things that make subeta so much fun to be here . No matter what the site goes through I'm here because I choose to be. Sure I'm a little sad we can't mail in donations to help the site anymore but I completely understand. I can remember a time when people never worried about time zones or worry about what part of the world we live in. We were all one big happy family just happy to be here because we all believe in Keith and what he has planned for subeta .

You know, I want to definately thank Keith and the rest of the Subeta staff for the Giveaway. That was really nice of them and people shouldn't have complained. If you missed it, no biggie. If you didn't get the item you wanted, still a no biggie. It's not like it's a once of a life time chance to get those rare legendary items, gold account medals, etc. There could have been a second giveaway in the future but with an attitude like that why bother?

For people to complain like that is unfair to Keith. He tries his best to make everyone happy and look what happens. I think banning was a great idea and I hope it shows people to appreciate everything Keith and the rest of the team has done for us.

ok,so,one bad apple DOES spoil the whole bunch! HA~ it is amazing to me,as an OLDER player here on Subbie, that the younger folks can whine and complain so much over a bunch of pixels. well, when i was a youngster we didn't even have pixels,couldn't afford them. and if we could afford them we had to walk uphill both ways to get them. yeah,that does sound like a crock of doodoo. After everything Keith and the Subeta Team have done for us, the users, and people STILL complain about something that was given FREELY! How sad. I missed the giveaway too, but that's life. Not too worried about it. what is the point of the game if you get everything given to you rather than working for it? I enjoy subeta and everything that Keith is doing for us. sigh What's upsetting is not that I missed it, but that it essentially got canceled because of a handful of jerks. I was sad that I missed stuff at the last two, but this time I'm just plain mad that there are people on here who ruin things for everyone else. What is this, Neopets?

And I_Think, please be quiet. You have no idea what went on behind the scenes and how stressful it must have been for Keith. That Subeta is back at all after that is nothing short of a miracle, and due solely to his and the staff's dedication and sacrifice. We all want Subeta to be less rocky again, but be grateful you have it at all at this point.

you kno what keith your attitude to those users area bit cold, especially if your "trying to gain their trust back". i mean i can understand why they mite feel a tad bit impatient with you if the giveaway is over before it started and they have had to put up with this crazy mayhem for the past few days. stop being so tempramental.

thank you very much.... the only TWO giveaways where i have ever been were in april 2007 and decemeber 2007... why complain that you didn't get something this time, i've been here for almost 3 years and only taken part in TWO giveaways.

I had to leave 10 minutes after this secong giveaway started, and I was HAPPY with what I got. I'm not surprised people were complaining however. It happens every time there's a giveaway. People are always upset they miss it, or complain someone else got something better. The point of the giveaway is to HAVE FUN. I think if you go in with the expectation of only getting super rares, legendaries, cash shop items, etc, you'll be sadly dissapointed.

Anyways, thanks keith, staff. You guys didn't HAVE to do any of this, and it really does show that you care about the users

Ah, darn. I didn't even know a giveaway was going on until after it was over. xP I love these giveaways. I wish they could continue, but a certain few spoiled sports had to ruin it for the rest of us. ((I really hope nobody targets those people now that they've been called out. u.u))

Yes, among the users alone donating, there were over 5,000 items given. And, I'd just like to say, that just shows what this site is really like, and why people stay here. A big thank you to everyone else who donated.

It is a shame that a few can ruin it for the rest, but... I am not the keeper... I would definitely like to thank the Subeta Team for giving us the Giveaway... it was very nice of you in the first place... as always Keith and Staff you guys are the best... Now whether I got something out of it or not... is obviously my problem, but I am also contributing my share of items for those users that seem to want to make a big deal just to show you that "Giving" is just as good as receiving...

Why would people be complaining? I can see them making a remark like " Oh noes, I missed it... oh well there's next time! " But actually saying its unfair...? Free items are free items, you miss it you miss it. * shrugs * Sure I was a little down because I missed it but one doesn't kick and scream over it. Now because of a few members complaining its ruined for everyone but what can you do? There are always the few people who'll ruin things for others. Well, enough of the rant, thank you Keith for the past giveaways and sorry to hear your disappointment. I understand the hard work that must be put into giveaways as well as the kindness. Hehe, I saw this coming I hope this makes people stop complaining, when everyone see that it hurts all of us. Everyone should be thankful for the giveaways and other things even if some people get more than others. So what if you're not online every time they release things in token shop or giveaways, it can't always be fair to everyone if you don't get a legendary, someone else is happy to get one.

The Shoutbox, led by Tche first, sort of took over the giveaway. XD I donated a ton of books myself, so that everyone who wants to can participate in the Book Drive, and get at least a smaller prize, even new players who just started and those who can't afford books at the somewhat inflated prices some of them are at currently.
