You know.... I, like most people, hope to get something great in a giveaway... but it doesn't always happen; you're still getting FREE stuff! Keith, I don't know if you'll read this or not, but I honestly believe the majority of us truly appreciate what you do here. There was so much confusion when Subeta switched to .ws, but in my eyes, you more than made up for it with great items, cash shop, donation center, trying to keep us informed etc. It really makes me sad to see ungratefulness and greed here. I think you made the right decision.
Keep your head up kiddo.... you and the whole Subeta Team do a GREAT job! (Sorry 'bout the "kiddo" thing, but I'm old enough to be your mother) lol!

OH Thats Great! I get on right now for the first time in 2 days and I see that there was a HUGE givaway and now people are complaining about it? Thanks alot. I really appreciate all the immature people complaing because you are getting free expensive items. Or not getting them because of other reasons like timezones or something. Im not complaining that I didnt get anything, Im complaining about the immature, greedy people who ruined it for all of us!

And Im sorry for all the people saying its unfair that they didnt get anything. I was gone for the weekend and Im not saying its unfair that it was their choice to have a giveaway when I was gone. Its not like that have a big chart that says when every single person playing Subeta will be on or off for the day. So just because you were gone, or asleep, or whatever....DEAL WITH IT! I am. Its that simple! Im just mad that you immature, greedy people are critizing and harrassing Keith and the Subeta Staff because they had a giveaway and you didnt get anything. So now, You ruined it for all of us. Thanks I hope you are happy. Oh wait your not happy because you are still mad because you are greedy, and now that you've ruined it, we wont get anymore big giveaways therefore you are even more angry because you are greedy and want free stuff. Im sorry for my rant, but I am mad at all these greedy people.

And Keith and The Subeta Staff have been working hard for us to have our accounts safe and for the site to be up and running and all these people complain about them missing free items that they did not have to give out in the first place.

Wow, how amazing that people get so insanely greedy when things are free. It was fun just to get anything at all, but what were you lot expecting? The most powerful item on Subeta? Dream on. Should've been happy with what you got instead of whining about it, but that would require being mature, and I guess that's too much to ask of some of our users. Shame on them for ruining it for the rest of us.

After I read these comments I totally went and donated a bunch of stuff myself. I think that all in all, complaining and idiots aside, the everyday users of Subeta really put on an awesome show today. It was awesome to see so many people band together to help out the site. Thank you all who donated sooo much. I didn't get any "legendary" items in the give away last night, but then again I didn't even know what a "legendary" item was until an hour ago and I don't battle or intend to, so that didn't phase me at all. Free is free, even if it's only worth 1 SP, that's one that I didn't have so I'm totally grateful and happy

People are greedy by nature. =/

Its rather disgusting, actually, how greed seems to surface where ever something kind is going on. However, theres nothing you can really do about it. People will be people.

As for the utterly cut off of giveaways, its none of my business. I wasnt on or here the entire day, so I didnt benefit or contribute. However, I'm probably just gonna throw my two cents in anyway, and more then likely be flamed for it. I like this ban. Keith, you've been more then kind enough with the users. People complaining about lost GA time? The GA was extended. All better. But these giveaways, users, and economy... You've probably had to deal with countless crap about how everything on the sites unfair, because they didnt get so an so. Some are unhappy because of not getting the item, majority are unhappy because they missed the 15 million sp item that they couldve gotten /free/. Then, they run to the boards for pity, while others simply whine because they didnt get a chance. Keith gave the equivalent of $2.50 to every user on the site. Keith gave you extra GA time. Keith gave, and gave, and gave. Hes hand-feeding the users free SP, and they arent doing a thing of work except pricing it in a shop.

Honestly, people. If you want money, GET OFF YOUR BUM AND WORK FOR IT. Stop looking to Keith for free hand-outs. Hes cut you cold turkey. People are so ungrateful for such kindness. Thats why I enjoy this ban .___.+

I hate when other people's greed ruins it for the rest of us. If Keith had wanted us all to get super rare items, he'd have sent them. If you're not fast enough, its your own fault so don't go whining to him about it I missed it too but big deal. There's still stuff in there and if you're willing to sift, there's a few 10k+ items to be found. No matter how much or little its worth, it was STILL a free item and there's at least some profit to be made 9__9 Jeez, you just can't make some people happy.

Just had my first chance to get online today, and found I'd missed a giveaway--but after seeing this, I guess I'm glad I did.

Keith & staff, I apologize for the nerf-herders who complained because they missed a valuable freebie. They obviously don't realize or care how hard you all have been busting your butts to keep Subeta the way we love it. Crabapples to them. The rest of us do appreciate it, and that you then did a giveaway.

I was going to make a complaining forum to all those who were complaining about 'missing out' on it. I felt that is was giving enough just for normal items to be given away. And yet people were still complaining when there will still things in the DC. That made me mad people would do that. So selfish, if I do say so myself.

ALL giveaways would be considered unfair, but you don't see them not being done just because a few people complain because they don't have enough LUCK to get anything wrong and it's extremely messed up that everyone is getting 'punished' for a few people's complaints.

Keith under this logic all giveaways are unfair because people will always get better things then others......So give aways are unfair no matter how you look at it. So why not give away a few items some people can't get otherwise.

I've been through the exact things you just described over the past month. I couldn't care less. I'm just thankful that Keith went out of his way to do a giveaway. And extend our GA's. AND give us all Cash Shop points. He can't give back lost time, but he's trying to make it up to us, and thank us for hanging in there while this crapstorm went down.

My thoughts exactly Tonu. People shouldn't, as they say, look a gift horse in the mouth. This was all a big thank you, and the majority of what Keith got in return was people whining because they weren't the lucky ones that got the amazing items. It was all free, and he didn't -have- to even do a giveaway, so everyone should be thankful that he even decide to. I'm not implying that I do, but if people only knew all of the hell Keith has been through over the past few weeks, I'm sure they would be singing a completely different tune.

Bragging and complaining I thought was just for that-bragging and complaining! People complain, people brag I think more have bragged. There are a few people upset they got nothing. they do have that right. When something like this is posted it just seems like someone wants a pity party. Yes I am sure that everyone involved with keeping Subeta up has worked their collective tails off. but truthfully the biggest whiner seems to be the person with the power posting and saying they are taking their marbles and going home because they dont like what a few have said. this is a game sight to relax and have fun. Despair, I am not upset I didn't get anything, I don't care. It's getting here after losing so much time from GA in the last month, not getting upset about that and then seeing I (as a user) have been rewarded then punished while I wasn't-even-here. THAT is what annoys me. It's just so petty, and I came here to say so.

Im not a fan of giveaways, i dont like that you MIGHT be able to get 50m+ items for no effort, but, people who complain because THEY didnt get items that good for nothing, are retards.

If stuff is being given away for free, please, just stfu if you werent given the best FREE stuff, go earn something or put some effort into earning sP.

I think he took the best course of action. I missed the giveaway altogether and you don't see me crying about it. Keith did this out of kindness, and the response that he got was -completely- unjust. I'm glad to see Keith standing up to the people that make this site unenjoyable, even if it means taking something away from the entire userbase.

Keith - I respect your decisions, its your site... the thing that angers me is, i saw at least 3 people that were complaining that hadn't even been playing subeta for even a week. It's ridiculous you should get upset by people like them because you owe them nothing... they haven't been with you for this month of ups and downs... :/ even then, like i said in my previous posts, people should be happy there even WAS a giveaway, i mean, you already GAVE us 5 extra days of ga, AND 250 points in the cash shop :/ people are just too greedy

Since the giveaway was a thank you and a reward for us all being patient, it's pretty rotten to punish the entire user base for something a handful (even a couple hundred people is only a handful of the total user count) of people did.

No one should beg or demand the giveaways be brought back, in fact, DON'T bring them back because it just gives you another opportunity to take it away again.

BUT, although I understand why you wouldn't want to reward people for being whiny, but punishing EVERYONE is petty and just cutting off your nose to spite your face. I don't think I've ever seen a better example of that phrase than this giveaway ban.

Keith was really disrespected, and this seems to happen every time there's a giveaway. Half the users on the site complain about the quality of the items or their timezones or whatever and I think we've had a lot of chances =/ It may not be all of us, true, but what other option did he have other than to end the giveaway? =/ He couldn't freeze all the users that were complaining about it, because it was honestly about half the site. It may have punished people who didn't do anything, but I don't see how else he could have handled it. He had even posted a warning in the news telling users that he didn't want to see them complaining, and they continued anyway. =/

What happened? I'm about to go take a look in the forums. If some rotten lot has ruined these giveaways for all of Subeta, I'm going to be very upset. I don't see how it's fair that everyone should be punished, especially since I didn't even get to get on until just now, and was unaware that there was a giveaway. :/

Keith- Do you think we could have one more chance? I have thought about it and while I would definitely continue to support the site with or without giveaways I just dont see how this is a very fair decision since so many weren't even doing anything wrong. Why should we get punished for others actions? I thought you said you were going to start listening to as well as answering the calls of the subeta users,This to me just seems like we are headed backwards instead of forwards.

Thanks to the people who are adding items to the DC, I am grabing things for a new player friend of mine, and got myself a cube.. its cute, and I didnt know about it.. one reason I like the giveaways, I never sell what I get.. I either trade or keep or giveaway.

As Giveaways have been staggered in the past for everyone to have a chance to attend (in a given 24 hour period), I don't fault anyone for complaining that they missed it, as they have come to expect that they should at the very least have a chance. On the same note, don't expect the same disgruntled Users to be yay, let's spend at the Cash Shop.

The ones complaining about not getting rares is indeed laughable though and insulting to Staff, as probably 95% of people won't ever receive rares in a Giveaway - they should be glad they had the chance to participate at all.

That wasn't a very good decision you made. Stopping a giveaway in the middle is unfair to all those that were not on. If you plan on holding one then make sure everyone has a chance.

I agree that people complaining is unfair when you've already done so much for us but you are being quite unfair to many other users as well who never even had a chance.

Hmm....I am not sure how I feel about this giveaway. I think it is unfair that you gave away legendaries, and such, until people complained. Then THOSE people who did get them first, got the FEW that went out, and then the rest of us who work got shafted because of impatient, greedy people.

If you are going to do a giveaway, see it to the end, or do not do one at all.

Stopping it and changing the way the giveaway works in the middle of it is unfair to EVERYONE.

Keith, sorry, but you disappointed me in this one. I know people complain too much...but you are running a site that relies on people...and people will always complain. Freeze them, and allow the honest players to partake. I for one have put a LOT of money in this site since I joined in April, and to have my chances at good items ruined because of a couple of whiners, makes me not want to play at all.

Freeze them if they are being that complaintive...otherwise, its not fair to change the rules in the middle of the giveaway.
