Oh my gosh that is way cuter! 8D

The colors, to me, are better this round. Pets Ruffie
Kudos to ze arteest. :3

All the colors used is starting to worry me a little.. And with the colors being so different I'm concerned it's going to start looking odd on a few of the common colors. :C What is the Cream going to look like with all those different shades? White, cream, brown, /and/ teal? That feels a little.. busy to be honest. And with the cream being more of a secondary color that way, would it really be 'Cream'? And what about Marsh? So-far I've only seen 2 colors used on most of it's pets. What will the other colors be?

Maybe I'm just nit-picking.. Kinda feels like I am because I really do like the art. The markings are just /really/ hard to get used to.

I like Window's suggestion about it being all blue. Then the light blue spots won't look so out of place. I know you said that when a per is blue it makes it difficult to make them Dusk, but I think Window has a good point. Plus it sticks to the original Ruffie color palette which a lot of people still like very much. :3

This is eight hundred times better than the first revamp. Kudos to you, Rah! I love that the Subeta artists are so open to constructive criticism and improvement. It's one of the things that I really love about this site.

I must admit, I still don't quite understand why the staff is so dead set on not implementing the original color scheme--the Chelon, Telenine, Mortiking, Keeto, Cybill, Tutani, Manchu, Lain, Kumos, Kanis, Dragarth, and Clawsion are all blue in their default pose, so I don't understand why the Ruffie has to be an exception to the rule. Even so, I'd be perfectly happy if this one was implemented.

I can't wait 'til you guys work on the Clawsion. I'm pretty sure it's one of only three species on this site that has never been revamped or updated in some way (Warador, Harvester, Clawsion). Sooo painfully outdated.

New ruffie = much, much better than the first polled one.
I still like the design of the old one best, BUT this one has amazing art! xD (I miss the cute leetle paw pads from the first poll, though. ;__;)

Widow's image is a great example of how the colors could still be all blue yet it would look very different from dusk.

Keeps it more "ruffie-ish" instead of new "species-ish".

Oops, sorry for the second post, but I forgot to say good job to Rah, so Good Job, Rah! =D

Much better! ^^ The anatomy is lots better and the new markings, eyes, and mouth is much more playful, just like the ruffie! =D The only concern is the colors, I like the light blue of the modern ruffie with the dark blue markings, but I guess the tan-ish brown is nice too.

Did it anyway. |D Ohgod i comment too much.

The brown helps to balance it out. But the light blue is more ruffie like?

Like i said, not good mockup. Quick.

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by HollowBull

Hmm.. I say i like it - but I do think that it would look better with a very light blue.

Just because the old ruffy is like that. BUT! It does look alright with brought :] but if lightblue, like sky blue, in place of the tan/brown colour is adorable too. This coour would be a lighter blue than the speckles. It also makes the speckles blend in more with the image.

Dont have a mockup because my mockup for myself isn't that great. XD

I like this new one, but I'm still not diggin' the tan/cream color. I think it would look better if it was a pale shade of blue instead, or maybe white.

Bring that left ear up more like the original one, and I vote yes!

Hm. This one is definitely a HUGE improvement anatomy wise.

I still don't understand why in the world it has the colors it does those. Also, the shading lumps that I think are supposed to be eyebrows just don't fit. Seriously, just take them away o-o;

In all honesty I'm struggling with why the ruffies colors HAD to be changed. None of the explanations make sense because light blue is in no way the color of the dusk pets.

I do like the facial markings much better though, good job : D

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

If only the light blue spts weren't there, I wouldn't mind this one.

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

Everything about the anatomy seems better now. I still think tan and steel blue were poor choices in colour, but I guess I understand the concern about the common look being too similar to dusk/cream. I actually like the light blue flecks; they match the eyes, and it makes the steel blue more tolerable.

If possible, I think it'd be good to think up a new colour scheme that will work without being too close to other colours...but to be fair; most pets can't avoid being close to one colour. The dusk clawsion is just darker than common. The field Aeanoid is just a bit brighter than common. The cream Popoko is just a bit lighter than common. It's really hard to avoid, because the site has a potion for almost every colour.

I like the dark fur around the eyes, but on the body, i MUCH prefer the spots on the first, as opposed to the back being mostly dark blue.

All In all, I have to say, the second I saw the first redraw, I used a ruffie elixir in anticipation. Very nice!

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by HollowBull

Oh yes I forgot to say: the darker blue around the light blue eyes reeeally brings them out. The eye patches were a good choice. The ear also looks softer.

I had trouble voting....but I voted for new

This is much much nicer than the last one. Good job Rah! ^^

I had to look between the two, and I still think the dog is different from what a ruffie dog is...but I do find this adorable. The expression is MUCH happier looking without those caveman, as other people have called them, eyebrows.

Paw of course is much better.

Hehe x3 I just wanna squish it. Very cute.

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

I don't mind the colour scheme at all Rah, must I assume that the original blue colour will me used in Dusk? Is so, then I'll settle with the bright blue spots on the Ruffie.

this one is cuter than the last, but ditch the light blue flecks, they look too random.

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by babytwinklette

Um...I still don't like it, and I still want the blue back, BUT...

The paws look much better now.
I sort of like the eye patches (although he now looks like a franciscan monk with the rim of blue around the back of his head).

Unfortunately, this poor dog looks like he got in a paint fight. If you're using the same colors (which it sort of looks like you are), the blue flecks sort of tie it together a little bit, but they're WAY too random. If you INSIST on using these colors, ditch the flecks.

Still...go back to the original coloring and I'd be a happy camper.

Well I like the pose, but I still really don't like the colors. Guess I will wait and see what it looks like in the other colors. Not that I, er, can actually get a Ruffie considering my account theme, LOL.

I like this newer one a heck of a lot more better than the previous, it could do without the extra bright blue spots, it looks like someone splashed some paint on it.

It is still a very good improvement.

Wow! This one is so much better Rah! I love the solution with the eyebrow problem. This design is so much better than the last one. It also looks you raised up the ears a little. Hooray!

The eyes themselves and the expression is much better too. The ruffie still gets to have a happy puppyish face, which makes Iatomie a very happy user.

I still hope that the galactic ruffie won't change though. When the otter was changed the galactic version stayed the same.

Awesome, so much better, great job! If the brown has to be there at all then at least the light blue is a polite nod to the original coloring (though I will still never like brown replacing original shades on Common pets!) and it looks very harmonious.

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

LOL, I just got a sort of funny image in my mind. What would the light blue spots look like it they were all on the dark blue of the back? What I see looks semi neat, semi cute, and very odd. There's one right on his rump.
