This is the first revamp where I can't even find anything to nitpick about. Usually when I see a revamp in the news and see the new art, I find myself thinking, "It's nice, but..." Not this time! 
I love the details on the flippers, head, and shell. I like the smaller eyes, they're the perfect size to me. Maybe a little beak-nose wouldn't hurt, but I also wouldn't mind the face as is. Don't know at the moment which artist did this, but they did an outstanding job!

The Turdle really needed a graphical update, but I'm not sure if I like this design or not. Then again, the more I look at it now the more I like it. I think perhaps it's just the way the gems are placed on the shell that bother me. Silly complaint yes? It certainly has much more detail than the current Turdle and fits in more with the other pets. Poor Hipposaru, soon he'll be all alone in the "Wow am I outdated!" club.

this is absolutely amazing, I love it! Only suggestion I have is maybe to have the shell be more aligned with the head, otherwise GREAT JOB!!!

I like the old one better it reminds me of a sea monster other than a turtle
I really like how this one looks like a Sea Turtle (and nice choice on the name! Especially since it goes back to the ancient turtle ancestors.). The only complaint I have is the back right flipper and the front left flipper. Those look a bit off, if you ask me.
As for if I like the Revamp or the Original, I'd have to say the Revamped one looks better. Heck, I have a revamped Ontra (hugs her Demyx), and I like how they came out, so I'm gonna love this one... If I could get a couple more pet slots, this would be one of the two I'd pick. Great job all around, guys!
I love this revamp. The only thing I think is a little off is the kind of elderly feel that it gives.
Keshi did such a wonderful job with this one! I couldn't bear the old ones; but this is so very prettyful. Of course, now I'm going to have to have one, and I so don't have room. eyes Cash Shop Mystical Plushies, here I come. xD

Head-to-body ratio is a little off, but this is such an immense improvement! I love it!
I think it looks MUCH better. My only suggestions would be a better head to shell size ratio, its not chibi so the shell looks too small to me compared to the head size. Other than that, I agree with others about the middle gem seeming to push into the shell too much.
Either way, if I had pet space I'd at least consider the Chelon nowm whereas I never even looked at Turdles

I love the new name, but I the the revamp is a bit much. It looks lovely, but the other one was sweet looking with its giant eye. I think a less radical revamp would be perfect.

I like where this is going, but it's position is too weird... I like the old turdle's position. And I think it might be better with bigger eyes.

Not trying to sound rude but your artists are better than before!! I like this revamp. My only CC is to maybe lighten up on the shading on the shell so the gems don't look "sunken".
Why must everything be cute ? I like this revamp, the spots on the fins give it a more natural look. Wouldn't the face ... beak thing ... perhaps need a bit more of a point to it, and maybe make the back flippers a bit longer ? Overall, well done. Don't cute it up.
Wow. Turdles have been in great need of a revamp and this is gorgeous, but I agree about the gems looking sunk in. Also, I like Turdle better than Chelon xC but, change is hard for me. I'll get used to it. (still havn't gotten used to ontra). This is so far the only revamp I've actually liked. Terrific artwork!

And, if anyone is wondering where the name comes from... It's from the crown group, or, current living ancestor of ancient turtles, which is called 'Chelonia'.

Larger gems definately. And the name doesn't seem terribly... fantasmic, but that's not as important. The art is great and I think it will really work out. Can't wait to see a dawn version- pink and orange will look stuning on the new Chelons.

I didn't like the original Turdle... either the name or the pet itself.

I rather like this revamp, it gives the Chelon much more personality. I do, however, have a similar complaint to many, and that is in line with the jewels. They could probably stand to be a bit bigger, and the jewel in the middle looks as if it's causing the shell to cave in. ^^;
I'm loving that it looks more like a turtle and finally has a more unique name. Now onto another pet in need of some revamps... coughs Charlies coughcough
