I think it's because the jaw muscles aren't pulled back enough, i.e the open mouth should go further back.
It's good to see more glacier pets in Decmber - I thought we would get plenty of them this month but ver few came.

Just thought I'd mention that I love the artwork, even if I so disapprove of the Ruffie's Posture. The mortiking's eyes are much too bright for my personal liking, but I think it will suffice.
The Ruffie looks a little bit... squished/flat if you ask me. But eh, it's great art, I suppose.
