Ginger: While I agree that when pets get revamped, sometimes their awesome colors suffer; I think it's asking too much of the artist to redo all the pets when it's in the evaluation stages.

Great job to the artist! I actually love this new revamp. :333 the old Anyu looked very out-of-date, but this new one is great. I do admit that the first one didn't look anatomically correct (i.e. the legs and paws) and there was something odd about it.

I like the fact that this one's fluffier, which makes it look more like a real bear, and it doesn't come across as fat (at least not to one who knows bears. ;D ). And from this point of view, people, you can't really see the tail. Making it longer would only make it look strange and unnatural. :/

I voted for the one with the brown nose marking because I wanted it to portray a little bit of the old Anyu. Kudos again to the artist. You did a marvelous job!

Some of the colour schemes HAVE to be changed. If they're too different from the standard colour schemes, they have to be tweaked.

I don't mind if the brown nose one or the normal one is chosen, I like both. I voted for the normal one, though.

It looks much better with that tiny bit of added fluff and the fixed up legs~

The artwork is beautiful but the bands on the legs bother me. I liked the shading when they seemed to be part of the fur. Now they make me think of slavery - or those bears which are kept locked up all the time ( moonbears I think), and like the dancing bears.Sorry.

The reason people compare it to a polar bear is because Keith specifically said "it's meant to look more like a polar bear." I understand that it's not an EXACT replica of a polar bear. I'm not that dense, thank you. But if it were supposed to be based on one, then there are far more anatomical differences between polar bears and other bears than just color... and if "other bears" was the intent, then he wouldn't (or at least shouldn't) have said it was meant to look like a polar bear.

That's all. No one said to make it an exact replica of a polar bear. Just giving advice based on Keith's own intentions for the pet.

I am amazed at how the smallest changes truly changed the image. First off, because I don't think I posted on the original News post, I have always loved the concept of the Anyu, but never wanted to get one. The new revamp is amazing, and I really want to own one now. I even have a name idea for it. I love the altered definition on the shoulder, which was needed, and the sharpened wings. Oh, and the brown nose. It really does look better with a brown nose.

Yay, everything I thought needed tweaked is fixed! Well, not the tail, but I'm starting to think it would look odd with one. The toes are furry, the nose is brown, the bracelets match, and the eye are so creepy! Wonderful re-revamp!

I really wish I liked this revamp. I thought the old art looked smoother and more like the other pets on the site. Nice art, just not quite what I was expecting.

The last revamp was such an improvement, and somehow you made it even better. Love the extra fluff on it's toes, and how you changed the bracers to be the same design. Thanks for listening to other people and trying to change things, and for taking the criticism well... Shows a lot of professionalism. Anywhoo, yes, lovely work. Makes me wish I had another pet slot. :3

I really want to know what the fuss about the tail is, anyway. XD I can understand perfectly well why it wouldn't be visible but even more so that making it visible would be idiotic. Bears have teeny tails and it would have to be huge and fluffy in order to show up from behind one of their huge butts.

Frankly, I don't even think it needs a tail, anyway. Can't wait to see the end product. I just hope the color schemes stay about the same- please no dramatic changes like with the Sheeta?

Oh for the love of... Okay, I know I'm guilty of this as well but guys, just because it's BASED on a real animal, doesn't mean it IS a real animal.

Please stop with the "It's a polar bear" because I guarantee you, that thing does NOT look like a polar bear. Polar Bears have broad snouts with bodies to match. The closest real life bear this thing will ever resemble is a Teddy Bear.

So let's just cut the crap and stop nitpicking.

I like the brown muzzle and the revamp on the ankles. The eyes seem to stand out more, as well. But, I guess we aren't getting just a slight peek of a tail? LOL I know from angles and etc, in reality you couldn't see one, but these are virtual pets and not realistic ones wink

Yes, I referenced a variety of bears to draw the Anyu While it has features of different bears, there are things I chose to add to it. The neck ruff is something you see more on grizzly, I suppose. The face IS more teddy bear like, just a caricature bear face really.

The bulk is there to stay - there's little point in telling me that 'polar bears aren't that fat' because this isn't an exact drawing of a polar bear. Of course ou are welcome though to be disappointed that the anyu is bulkier than you would like - bulkier than the old anyu. But that was my artistic decision, I'm afraid, and I know I can't please everybody.

The ears are supposed to be in a listening pose. Turned round right at you

And no tail I'm afraid I'm sticking to my guns in saying it would not be visible at that angle. If I draw it in, I will feel compelled to give it a huge tail in it's redraws, which I don't want to do. Just please try and believe it IS there, being obscured by the anyus vast bottom xD
