A lot of bugs were fixed in the HA system. IE6 users should now be working with the wardrobe. Also more missing items should be fixed now. Along with the normal bunch of speed improvements and tiny tiny bug fixes.

Please keep the feedback coming on the HA system. We would like to make sure its perfect then move onto other areas of the site. The best place to leave feedback is real time IRC. irc.subeta.net channel Speak up when one of the staff members is active.

I would also like to take this time to tell the users of Internet Explore that you might want to try Firefox. www.firefox.com Its faster and more secure and the recommend browser for Subeta. If you do NOT want to switch browsers i would then highly recommend updating to the newest IE7. (not IE6). IE6 now has several bugs and security holes in it, that are fixed by the newest version of IE7. Opera, Safari, mac users are fine.

Thank you very much!

it still isn't working for me (I use IE), honestly I think it is a bit strange that we are told which browser we need to use. It worked in IE before really great for me, so I a thinking it should work in IE really great now ( alright x) after you finish the work )

No, it doesn't work for me. And don't tell me which browser to use. I barely use ff because it's slow and adblock gets on my nerves (in comparison to adsfilter for IE) and IE works perfectly fine and secure if you change a few setting, plus IE is the most used browser at companies and employees aren't allowed to install new programs on their work PCs.

ok here's what I'm finding in firefox:

problem with items not removing from the profile page but they will remove in the wardrobe page on the HA. What I have found is that once you save an outfit, and then go back and try to add or remove something ...you have to reset the whole outfit in order to do that. It will work ok if you don't, in the wardrobe, but not on the profile pages .

the items showing up under your HA, for now only the items they had on just before the change is showing up, at least that is what I can figure out with mine . I've tried going into that section on profiles and removing the option for them to show up to not show up and etc..tried it all and it still will not work .

for removing items...I did have a problem at first but then I changed the size of my font to a smaller size and now I can remove items pretty easy. I also have to use the smaller font in order to use the whole wardrobe section..will not work in anything larger then a font size 12 That is also true in the making of the HA section. I also don't know if not using arial has anything to do with it or not.

I'm still unable to create my avatar, or look through my wardrobe.
There are boxes around the avvie options and nothing gets selected.
I would much prefer not to change to Firefox.

Still can't use it (I'd rather not have to switch to Firefox, as I've used it and do not like it at all, and I don't want to have to upgrade to IE7 as my Mom told me it had bugs when she tried it and I like IE6). It still gives me the weird gray hairstyle and the nose image right next to it (though sometimes when I load it I can see a body base right before the images appear) and I still can't click on any of the buttons. I'm glad it's fixed for some people, but I'd really like to be able to use it as my friend was really nice and got me some clothing items I really wanted. Hopefully this'll work soon, I really want to make a HA again. ^^

i use ff and it mostly works fine for me at the moment, just noticed a few things

  • in the profile, it dosnt show the items i wear, but totally different ones
-still cant remove alot of items from wardrobe
-some items still make the avatar go invisible (in the profile) and it will keep showing the item, even if you removed it (still only in the profile, even though the HA looks good in the wardrobe)

still can't make an ha and use IE6, however I think I'd stick with this even if I could make an ha at the moment. Everything looks so cluttered this way (I know I said it before, bad me) and it really makes me dislike my profile. Might have to make a minimal layout w/ no comments or friends showing to be happy with it again.

Okay, it was suggested to me that I try clearing my cache again today after the new update and now my wardrobe works.
Yesterday when I did that it didn't, so I didn't think to try again.

Thank you for fixing it. Sorry for saying it didn't work....perhaps that should be mentioned where people who don't read these comments may see it?

pokes head in

Does anyone feel the same way I do about the "Save" button?

I feel it is useless. All it does is create a naked HA while you are trying to work out a new outfit.. You can not remove your current clothes and add new and then hit Save.. it won't work.. Then you have BOTH outfits on. The only way to make a new outfit, for ME anyway, is to either delete current clothes, which creates a naked HA, or remove all clothing and hit save, which again, leaves you naked. sigh I kind of like it better before.. as far as the Save is concerned.. let it update as we go.. instead of having to run around naked.

Anyone else having this issue?

I've had Firefox before, and I'd prefer not to have to download it again just to get my HA to work. :/ It's not my favorite browser...For me, I'm still stuck on creating the actual HA. It'll load and then display hair and a nose (I think) and I can't click any of the options it gives me. I have an older version of IE, it'd be great if you could make this system availible for all IE users...

But

- I still can't remove some stuff from my wardrobe. I want all my stuff out of there why you guys mess with it. Just in case something goes horribly wrong.. I"m very parinoid I think

I took off all my clothes off my HA... and yet its not changing. This is a new glitch btw.

It's not working for me and I'm getting more and more annoyed with each passing day. Don't you people think it would have been a little better to wait until this feature was working in all browsers before being released?
And stop telling me to download Firefox, I would if I could. Unfortunately there's a conflict buried somewhere in my computer that will not allow another broswer. Just downloading one, never mind installing it, will jam the whole system. I am stuck with IE and only IE.
I would really like to have my HA back, it's one of the main features in this site. My points are only spent on wardrobe items. Without my HA, what's the point of being here?

Anyways, the wardrobe is working fine for me on SB but not loading on FF. Just thought I'd let you know. Keep up the good work =] thumbs up
