A lot of bugs were fixed in the HA system. IE6 users should now be working with the wardrobe. Also more missing items should be fixed now. Along with the normal bunch of speed improvements and tiny tiny bug fixes.

Please keep the feedback coming on the HA system. We would like to make sure its perfect then move onto other areas of the site. The best place to leave feedback is real time IRC. irc.subeta.net channel Speak up when one of the staff members is active.

I would also like to take this time to tell the users of Internet Explore that you might want to try Firefox. www.firefox.com Its faster and more secure and the recommend browser for Subeta. If you do NOT want to switch browsers i would then highly recommend updating to the newest IE7. (not IE6). IE6 now has several bugs and security holes in it, that are fixed by the newest version of IE7. Opera, Safari, mac users are fine.

Thank you very much!

I'm so sorry if this has been mentioned, but ever since the new HA system was installed I cannot click o nthe options to make the body. I have AOL but I also tried it in IE (not sure what version). Once I have my own laptop back I'll try it in firefox, but I just thought I would mention the AOL problem...

No, we do not fail to realize that. However, we realize that IE fails to adhere to standards that all other browsers do, has multiple glitches, fails to reconize properties of CSS that have been around for years [and has promised to fixed in versions since 5.5]

We work to make IE work on Subeta, however it's a complicated process that includes hacking our javascript to multiple versions for browsers [ONE for firefox/safari/etc and ONE for IE. It needs it's own, because it's the only browser that is so far off track for standards]

One thing.. thats not really broken but could be tweeked.. is the ease of dressing and seeing what you have on.. once your wardrobe gets larger there is alot of scrolling up and down.. its too bad we cant just try someone one and quickly see how it looks..

Directed to Roshu: I'm not sure what you're talking about; nobody seems to be acting like that at all. I think everyone has handled this well, compared to the arguments that break out over pet revamps and other such things.

Perhaps people wouldn't take it as a personal attack if there weren't quite a few comments to the effect of "LAWL, IE sucks ass", amirite? It smells faintly of gloating.

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

I have IE7 and I can't download FF sincce it's my dad's computer and I'm not allowed to download stuff. I still can't make a HA. Nonoe of the options work. I've tried everything. Refreshing, using Tab etc. Nothing's working. I hope you can fix it soon.

After reading these comments I just have one thing to say; wow. WOW, people. How can you seriously take a suggestion to update your web browser as a personal attack?

In regards to HAs, though, I'm having few problems in Firefox. Just a minor annoyance with the fact I can't remove items.

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

I think I have the IE7, and I still can't make a human avatar...

I don't think my dad would let me download Firefox, and he said it made scanning our computer longer... o_o

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

I still cant make one. I dont even know what version I have. I have aol,and thats what I use, not internet explorer by itself (from what I understand, aol runs with ie). and if firefox is like ie in the faCT YOU MUST have a wireless internet access, I'm out of luck. I have dial up.

I would also like to point out that not everyone is blessed to be able to download and update browsers as we wish. Some of us are still kids (I use that term loosly), and use our parents computers. I sometimes wonder if you fail to realize that. I'm not trying to be rude

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but I am unable to move clothing from my wardrobe to my inventory. It works all right sometimes, but sometimes it creates double items in my inventory that I have to delete, and sometimes it just doesn't work at all. (I'm not sure which IE I'm running...either 6 or 7.)

okay i know you have gotten this all over the place but i have IE7 and can't download ff at work. i can not make my HA. Will be patient but it is hard. :-)

I'm so happy the wardrobes have been fixed!! Love them they are the reason I play

Yeah...its still not working for me. Sorry Keith, but the debugging still hasnt helped yet. I am using IE 6.0.29 and thats what I have to use. I've tried to convince my dad to let me download FF, and, well....it didn't work so well. So untill I get internet on my emac, Im stuck with IE 6.

Its the exact same as it was before for me. I still cant select buttons, and I still cant see everything, because the messy hair is covering it all.

Sorry, but IE doesn't suck ass. There isn't anything wrong with it.
Subeta is the only major site I know that has problems getting stuff to work for all/most browsers.
I don't mind waiting, Subeta always has bugs, it's no surprise.

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

I have IE7 and I still can't create an HA either. The body base shows up now but will not let me choose any options to change it.

Ah, so glad most of the bugs are fixed ; D

One major bug though is that when I tried to update my avatar, my NEW updated version layered over my old version o_O;; So it's really...messed up. Not sure what this is due to, but it'd be great to have it fixed when possible x3

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

Guys, the staff aren't trying to rub your faces into anything. The reason they suggest Firefox is simply because it's a superior browser. They really are trying to make it work properly in IE, but are simply advising you that you'll have to either be patient, or use Firefox if you want optimal use. It;s not Subeta's fault that Internet Explorer sucks ass.

Hi Hope you can help me ..I cant click the little buttons .. I cant make a HA ,,Please oh Please fix it so I can make my Doll .. Thank you

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

It still won't let me make an HA, I can't click on any of the choices. But if the HAs now totally replace the other small avatars I'm not sure I want one anyway because I don't want to give up my puppy. It was nice having both in different places. Any chance that feature will return?

I have also heard that alot of people dont like the new system, mainly because they CANT ACCESS IT!

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

I am happy you fixed some glitches but I still cant create an avvie! I am not allowed to upgrade and would really appreciate it if someone would fix this! This is ridiculous I have waited for almost three weeks to fix it. I can go to the page but I cant click any of the options. Please fix!

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

i use FF, but i also use IE. I don't like how the new system is set up to work. I preferred the old system, but I LOVE having the layers right there for me to toy with. I despise the HAs showing up instead of user avatars. Can we have an option as to whether we want HAs to show up or user avatars?

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

I still cannot make my avatar, when i click the bubble I want it doesn't fill in. I have IE6 I would like to switch but my parents won't let me.

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

Well, I'm glad some of the glitches are fixed. ^^
But I still can't create an avatar, even with IE7. The buttons just blink, but they don't fill in. I'd love to switch to Firefox, but my Dad won't let me. >>;
Oh well, guess I'll have to wait a bit more...

Also before when I saved my HA(Earlier today) it saved with the new items but it still had some the ones I had removed on there.

I'll back ender on FF security. I was on 'that other pet site' when people were using malicious Javascript on their user lookups and petpages, and FF kept me very safe (it also takes care of unwanted ads nicely too). For those that don't know, IE now has tabs too, but I prefer the FF interface. It's much faster than IE, at least in my experience. If you are playing from work... what are you doing playing Subeta at work anyway? wink and can't load FF, then use it at home (which is what I do, no changing HAs at work for me). And Subeta is not the only site to restrict what browsers it works in. Several of the financial sites I use, don't work in FF (which is more common than not working for IE, but still)... Oh, and anytime they make changes, you'll probably have to clear your cache. Setting your browser to load pages every time helps, but not always.

Ender... please make giving us our little avies back a priority, I have grown to absolutely HATE these ginormous images. sticks out tongue at big HA images
