Major Quest Update
All of the quests on the site have been updated !
They all now run on a similar base, and should work much better (no more item eating! We know you really have them ;)!)
Also this allows us to monitor the ratio (and amount) of sP/item between the quests, so we know what to change.
Because of this change, you may notice that some of your favorite quests have been changed. They might be giving out more (or less) sP, different items, etc. We will be working over the next few days to even things out, and make all the quests (at least a little. even if it's only 1/20 quests) profitable. :)

I dont get why some of the quests are now asking for FOUR items... isnt that kind of overkill? And like i said, Maleria now sucks, and the Wiz... I like tokens as much as the next person, but half of the fun with qiz quests was getting random other items.

i just got 15k from the Wiz... and i only spent about 1k. i have NEVER done his quests in the hope of items, do people really think getting tons of cheap crappy items and an extremely occasional rare item is better then ALL TOKENS ALL THE TIME??? o.O

I like the change on the Wiz very much - getting a useless elixir when I needed tokens was not fun. Will we be able to do 40 Sag quests now too if we have a gold account or just the regular 30?

I admit it was nice getting the occational rare item from the Wizard... but I've always done his quests for the tokens more than the items personally. So I don't much care that items appear to have been taken off his prize list.

Of course, I could be bias in that I've never gotten an insanely rare item from him anyway, and the rare items I did get were usually horribly deflated and buyable in user shops. X3

the Wiz is giving out sP again!!! this makes me very happy! i don't understand why so many people are complaining about the Wiz quests, they seem better to me! 15 point token + sP is always a good thing in my book!

Saggi's quest are going to take a bit to get used to. I actually made a 6k profit on the wizard quests which is weird.

Only thing I want to know is - WHO BROKE the TOKEN EXCHANGE ??

If I'm not mistaken, from my first day here up until about 2-4 months ago, the only items the wizard gave out were tokens. When I first started they were only 10 point, then they went to 15 for a bit, then back to 10, then more recently items were added in. Personally, I like just getting tokens, thats the whole reason I do the quests and constantly getting items worth 1-2k after spending up to 15k on a quest when I'm hoping to get tokens for token shop or blackheart hollow restocks is more than a bit annoying. The once in a blue moon rare items definately weren't worth the trouble, so I'm all for getting nothing but tokens.

Well, as an avid Library Quester, I must say, I'm disappointed. I have a stash of books that I've restocked from the book nook, so I've always found the Library quests to be profitable, unlike those who have to purchase the quested items from user shops.

Today, Alexander is asking for books that I do not have a stash of... and in fact, he requested at least 5-7 unbuyables. The one time that he requested a book worth 30,000 in a user shop (one of three items he requested) I spent about 35K on the quest and received about 9K in points and an item worth about 6K.

Sorry, but I'm not crazy about the quest update... and that's BEFORE trying Wiz or Sag! There goes my goal of working my way up the Library high score list!

I just did the extra 10 quests on Wiz--was happy with my results, 6 x 15 pt tokens, and probably 12K plus. As far as rare items, that was never reliable for me anyway. I'd get a 'super rare' item that was only in shops for 4 or 5k...nice to get, but nowhere near reliable. Haven' had a chance to try Sag's, as I did mine earlier in the day.

*Wiz quests were all about getting rare items and tokens, not getting just tokens for all 40 quests. It seems more of a chore then a game now..

I agree huntersglencurlz..

4 items to search for is a hassle, 2 items is a hassle at times.

Also, lag is a key factor when doing quests.. the site doesn't seem much faster to me..

And, as much as I would like to agree with the Wiz quests being a good idea, I also agree with topizots.

Wiz quests were all about getting rare items and tokens, not getting just tokens for all 40 quests seems more of a chore then a game.

I'm not sure how anyone earned anything with Sagg. Out of a dozen quests I've been able to do 2 of them. He's asked for something well over 50K (and often very VERY UB) every time . And 4 items is too many to search for, three is often pushing it, when time is a factor, and there's still lag to deal with. More wiz quests is good, no items is sad though.

perhaps maybe instead of testing it out live to find the happy medium, a poll or some kind of survey could have helped better.

I feel as though the users are getting ripped off with the new way of questing..

but thats just my opinion..

Well ..I hope it changes for the better .. Ummm better to sell GA not worth activating for the more quests that i have to quit 75% of them ..

This sucks!!! Me too DreamsInPink, no items from the Wiz!!!

99% of the fun of doing the Wizard was the chance of getting a Super Rare item.

Now, what's the point? I buy most of my tokens anyhow, its just too monotomous to do 40 quests for the sake of tokens that might be a tad profitable.

Without the chance of getting a Super Rare item from the Wizard, it becomes a chore, not a game.

Well as far as the few quests left I've got for today have gone... it was pretty rewarding... I think it haven't be so bad finally... let see if it finalyl stay taht way!

Does the Wizard even give out items anymore???? I was REALLY enjoying the possibility of getting the high rarity items the Wiz was giving out randomly the past month. (bottled hatred, safir, etc.) Even though that was rare, that was a huge draw to the wiz IMO.

Is the Wizard Exchange's broken state actually something in the process of being fixed, or is it to prevent larger tokens from being made/sold? x x' I definitely hope it's not the latter...

I usually only do sag and wiz quests. I did them both today and was happy with the changes. I got all 15 point tokens from the wiz plus sP. And sag was great. I want to thank you!

Umm, Saggi quests suck now. I get asked either 3 or 4 items every time, and they're all usually 20k+ so I lose tons of money now instead of gaining.

I rather liked the toy and pete quests being rarity based and one item... I enjoyed those even when I lost SP, but I don't always have time to do multi item quests which I rarely did.. I guess I won't be doing much on here now since quests are what I enjoyed.. I still appreciate the effort that goes into changing stuff. Ah well... gives me more time for reading

Wiz is awesome now. He only asked for 2 items that were not worth it out of 30, which is pretty cool since it used to be a higher ratio.

Graveyard quests so far haven't been worth it at all. I spent like 50k on 3 items and ending up getting an item worth 2k... o_o

I'm going to try Saggi now...

Oh my... -rubs eyes- Not only am I able to do 30 quests w/out GA but... Wiz gives out sp again. My spark for questing has returned after months of sitting here and doing nothing.

ZOMG! These quests are amazing!!! I'd like to see people undercut prices in there shops now! LOL..

One serious suggestion about the quests.. if you want to randomize the number of items asked, that's cool.. I am perfectly okay with that, but I think the prize and/or sP given out be greater with the more items asked for. I know you can do that.. since you could do it with the saggi quests.. when he asked for 1 item or 2.

Well, this sucks. 3-4 items for Maleria now but it's the same common prizes and now even less sP. I already did my Wiz quests for the day so we'll see how that goes tomorrow morning. Most likely I'll be sticking my fist through my monitor. And I doubt I'll even touch the other quests anytime soon. It was nice having quick quests that were worthwhile to do since I'm at work but I guess I'll be doing other things than Subeta from now on. : (

No more item eating is good by me. But Subeta seems to be LAGGY. It's taking me at least 2 minutes to load a page -dies- That's like an eternity when you're used to waiting 2 seconds.

So the quests must wait till tomorrow! And the Toy Quests fairy is sooo cute She almost makes it worth putting up with the lag

Yep, I get that also Cornivus.. I click buy and it just sits there.. so I have to research for the item and rebuy it. It will be awesome once this gets fixed. I am doing Wiz quests and he is being very nice to me.. I do miss the occasional items though.. but that's ok. The tokens AND sP is very nice to have again.

Very nice! Only thing I can say is that the "You have quit this quest!" page thing is a little redundant and does waste a bit of time for those of us in a hurry. :> But other than that it's great, thanks guys!

I have the same problem DreamsInPink. I often have to click the button to search a few times or even refresh the page otherwise it just sits their loading forever. Same when I try to but items from user shops on occassion.

A definite yes on removing the "You Quit This Quest" message from every quest.

I can't believe I have no idea where Toy Quests are fails at life. But, I love the computer geek guy - is he new? He is too cute. He needs a name. Maybe 'Chip'? Can we have a Name the Geek contest?

Looking forward to testing the rest of the quests out - I'm just glad the Wiz still gives the 15 point-ers. Thanks, Keith! =)
