I agree with Caity. It's far too hard to navigate when everything is run from the same page. Having to go the long way around to reach pages is just annoying.
'Pie Tea'? 'Maliss'? These two items are not 'Guide To Restocking', which is the item I'm searching for.
Sorry if this sounds whiny, I don't mean it to be. I do like some of the new additions, like having a warning about users who have been offline for more than thirty days, but the rest of them aren't really necessary in my opinion. The trades weren't broke, they didn't need fixin'.

Yuck. I'm really not happy - the forums was hard enough to deal with but TRADES. I spend most of my time in these two places. ALSO the new layout of the trades is not good at all.. it was so much neater and nicer before.. what the heck happened.

Also, I agree with Mandy, there should be two links, one that goes to their profile, and one that goes to the whole list of their trades.
I won't say I hate it, because I appreciate that the staff is trying to like make things better, but I dislike the new trading center, it takes too long to load, it's not faster like some people say it is. I don't like how you have to manually go to someone's profile, why do I want to see someone else's trades when I want to comment their profile...? I don't like the unrelated searches, sure, that's good for the shops, if you don't have the exact words, but I looked /exactly/ for a Velvet, and had different items pop up. The Trade Center is like my life on Subeta, and now it's...exactly like forums, slow and unresponsive. I know you guys are still tweaking it, but just like pet revamps, don't you think we should have gotten to choose from this trading center or the other...? :/
I don't like the way you click on the traders username (to get to their profile to either smail or comment to them) and you get taken to all there trades. If this is the way it is, then please please have something where we can get to the traders profile so we can smail or comment. Otherwise we have to take the long way around, do a search for the username, click there username which takes us to there profile, then smail or comment. I don't have time for that long process and when some traders are too impatient.
I do like how it shows when the user was approximately last on, this helps alot as I tend to check the traders profile to see if they have been online or not, some you don't get a choice since they are on hidden mode.
I also noticed that the page doesn't load after using the trades for a certian about of time.
I think only some areas in the Trade Area needed improving
i just tried a couple searches. one search was fine but the other brought up a bunch of weird stuff and not the item i typed in. 
that stinks about not being able to cancel your trade smilesnz. This is my fear, that sometimes with these changes, comes major glitches, and worse, loss of sps or items LOL
aww man i dun like it i cant click on the sellers username and visit their profile. I use that often to see their wishlists..instead it just takes me to their other trades.. why subeta why

We already had a thread in bugging and complainijng about the new trades yesterday. I agree with everything people said before. The online time info is GREAT - I was thinking of suggesting smthg like that before. Random search results are more than a pain - hoe about an "includes" & "exact" option?), as is not being able to refresh, usernames not linking to their profile (we need to check their wishlists, comment etc.), not backtabbing (which is a very annoying forum feature, too, esp. if you're already on page 7 or so...) All in all: PLEASE DO give the old format back with the user's-been-absent-for info!!!!
This trading system is horrible. The search does'nt bring up the item you searched. Ick! I won't trade till it's changed/fixed.
just got on and wow i really don't like the changes so far. If you are on a profile and click on their trades, nothing comes up even if they have tons for trade?

I don't care for it either. =/ The links to the usernames now take you to their trades instead of their profiles.. more hoops to jump thru to get to their comment box...
I don't care to get partial searches when I search for a specific item. Just makes even more to have to weed thru.
I DO like the feature that says how long the person has been offline.. THAT is nice.. so you don't waste your time messing with those that aren't even active anymore.
sigh So shall it stay the way it is.. or are our comments going to be taken into consideration???
I know its always nice to try something new, I do hope that you at least listen to your users this time. I absolutely hated the forums after you decided to change those. Everything Im feeling about this new trade system has already been said, so no need to say it again, just letting you know heres another not so impressed fan. And Alpes the italics hurt my eyes too for some reason.
I do like the part that says if they have been gone for a while, that is nice. The missing parts, it doesn't say what you got when you accepted the trade, or asked for the pin number.. :S Just accepted a 6m trade offer, and that made me nervous as heck. I also miss it going to profiles since so many trades are lumped together, and you have to comment or mail to separate or make an offer.
Yea, I like just getting the item I want up, and been able to go straight to the persons profile instead of their trades. The only new thing I like is saying how long they are gone for
ANother problem is, the partial searching, I want to search for Tomb, and it's doing a partial search for items with the word Tomb in it, and i'm getting every item EXCEPT the Tomb it's highly irritating!

Normally im not a complainer at all.. cause i love Subeta so much. The changes to trades i just do not like at all.. especially the cacheing thing.. i dont even understand what the point is in doing that. It was nice to be able to see trades right as they were put up. The search leaves much to be desired as i see alot of other people have mentioned the same problems. Hope things go back to the old way or at least give us a choice. If not i guess we will have to learn to live with it.
I agree with everyone who rather get to a user's profile, rather than their other trades. 'Cause if you're interested in the item, you want to talk to them, not view their numerous trades.

it keeps giving me random results after I've put in a specific search for example, I've searched for 'archan elixir' and I keep getting different kinds of archan elixirs (field, lilac, dawn, etc) so it's kind of annoying just pressing search just to get what I want.
Yeah.. this new system really isn't my preference. The old system was simple and easy. I think we should go back to it.
My main problem is I searched for a rainbow kitty beanbag and got every trade on Subeta that had NO rkbb in it.

Trading is about speed - because it takes a few moments people get worried about items getting glitched. Would it be possible to have the option of choosing this trade version and the old version both possible. Thank you.

I really prefer the old trading system to this one. I don't use the forums because of the javascript, and unfortunately, won't be searching through trades much with them like this.
I am not a fan of this new system at all. It was alot easier to hit f5 while doing my work online, now I actually have to put some effort into it and well yeah. ;p That took all of the joy out of it, and I probably will not be trading so much now because of it.
...Which is honestly the only reason I still stayed on the site.

One of my lots is stuck, did that happen to anyone else? I can't accept an offer, decline it, or cancel the trade.
It's more difficult to find items you have to Searching brings up random results or item names that don't even match what you're looking for. Along with a host of other issues which have been mentioned ~ bugs or intentional ~ I hope the trade system gets a bit more polished.

Sorry guys. I'm not fond of it either. The trades were not broken. They were fine. Yes.. we had a few bugs.. but why not just fix the bugs? Why institute a new system?
I think we should keep /some/ of the things, like user notification, and deletion of old trades {all praise subeta team for this!} but revert most of it to the original. The way it is now causes so many more problems than remedys.
So far, the improvements are okay- I haven't noticed anything huge or major, though, so it's all good.
Ok, there is another problem with this, sorry, not trying to complain, but more trying to explain what's wrong, so you guys can fix it.
The cache thing gets annoying when trying to offer on an auction, since well, the auction is there for us to see, but sometimes it does not exist anymore, so it's a little problem. It only tells you it does not exist after you offered LOL

Hm...I don't know if its been mentioned before but; can you make it where we have to enter our PIN to accept a trade? I was disappointed when I saw that feature had been removed.
I also don't like how when we click on the username it goes to all their trades instead of their profile. It will make it alot more difficult to get to their profile and ask for seperation, or haggle
I don't like it. I search for bear plushie and get tons of lots, all nothing to do with my search. I like the bit that tells us when users have been off for, but I dont like having to search through them all, and having completly unreleated results

I know what you're saying peachyz, I just don't like it, I like refreshing to see new lots coming up and being able to get my events too.
You can't fix something that isn't broken.
There was nothing wrong with the trades before, I don't see why a new update was needed. I understand that the staff put a lot of effort into this project but personally, I think this update wasn't absolutely necessary and there are other things that need to be updated like the broken Oekaki links (just an example).
Admins, please hear us users and bring back the old system, nobody is liking this new system!
