I think this one is sooo precious. It's drawn better but the other one looks happier. Not sure exactly which one I prefer.

I agree with you, Keith, however I do see where they are coming from in that it is modeled after a rabbit if anything. I see it fine that people would want it to appear like a squishy little bunny, though I also feel it should have originality that makes it different from a real animal. :3

I'm for the old one, personally. This one looks like the head shrunk a little and the body got rounder -- also, the tones in the shading seem too different from each other, and it sticks out a bit too much. I actually also like the feet on the old one better; the rounded, heavier-depth ones don't seem to suit the Canis. I also like the pose and expression on the current Canis better -- it looks happier and cuter with the larger mouth. One last thing is that the ears look to bent and.. not body-part-like. They look like stuffed fabric because of how large the bends are.

This is all obviously in my opinion. I'm definitely for the old/current one rather than the revamp, though there are some elements to this one that indeed have improved.

To not like it because it's "not bunny-like" enough, is absurd, as it's not supposed to be bunny-like.

So...the fact that it's BLUE is ok, but its ears and leg movement look unbunny-like? xD I kinda know what you're trying to say, but remember I have to achieve a balance between cartoon and reality

I disagree Nobody. (Hehe, cute name BTW.) I think these eyes are a big improvment over the previous Canis revamp.

Looks similar to the old Canis, which is good. I'll admit that the new version looks more like a rabbit than it's previous remake which reminded me of a dog. This look might actually work however, I think it would look even more bunny like in a sitting position. Like the Graveyard Canis. Rabbits in general never stand this tall. They're always sort of hunched over. Unless of course this is based on a Hare... :/ In which case my statement about the position may be disregarded.

Also, I have a question... Why change the C to a K in the name? Is there some copyright issues?

Actually, I like it. xD Looking at it again, I see it has a more triangular nose than I thought. I was looking at it as an oval at first. And that was what was bugging me. xD

I've actually tried to take away a lot of the dog from this Kanis. Being as the site has the montre, ruffie, kumos and telenine, we could do with a lot more rabbit than dog in this pet (In all fairness, though, a rabbit's nose looks nothing like this xD But most cartoon rabbits do have a small pink nose, which is what I was going for n__n )

I think, since the (K)Canis is a dog/bunny, it should have a more dog-ish nose. But that's all I can think of. (Yeah, that's the only reason I voted for the old Canis. The face just seems... contorted, without the right kind of nose.)

;o It'scute. I don't like how small the patch of blue fur on it's chest is- I think it should be 'floofier', but that's such a minor issue it doesn't take away from the art a bit.

I like this newest version. The larger feet make it look more in proportion and the shadowing & shiny eyes really make it look great. big thumbs up
