If people keep saying we have to change the pets to revamp ALL of them to make them look the same... why don't you just take the lineart of the old ones and recolor them? ;.; Can we at least keep the old version of THIS one, please? I miss my old Magnus as it is already!

I don't like the fact that it's small stature is gone; the Kora was unique because it didn't -have- to be big with long legs or be able to stand high off the ground to be an impressive design; It looks too much like a cat now :/ Plus, I liked the shape of the old one's head.

I'm not much of a Kora fan, but..I much perfer the old one; it's different. This one makes it look like a run-of-the-mill pet. I do like the tails, though..they look more complete and functional on here rather than the tangle it was on the old.

But Amylee likes the old one :/

I really dislike the new kora because it's just so... /bland/. A generic pose. I see how everyone wants the pets to match the "subeta" look, but don't most of the pets with the "subeta" look have nifty, live poses, with personality? For instance, most of the newer spectrum pets.. the charlie with the rainbow, the flying kumos.. they all have PERSONALITY. You can tell the charlie hates rainbows, and anything happy-fun looking. But the new kora.. is just so... basic. You can't tell anything about it from this picture. The whole magical-kora-mystery thing... not there.

And I don't want to sound like I just hate everything about it - I LOVE the shading, the lineart, and all that jazz. It's just that the pose is so basic (and I'm not saying /I/ could do better, goodness - I just expect more for subeta pets). I'm sure if Waffles just drew a more lively pose, she'd make tons of FANTASTIC revamps. < 3

I honestly want to know why people think the new Kora is "emotionless" when the old Kora doesn't even have a mouth, which just yells "blank expression." The old one is not smiling or any other expressive feature at all. The new one works on that very ideal that the Kora should be like that.

The other colored versions DO have mouths, so what is this saying? We need to update the Kora to match with the new art and the mouths of the color pets. ALL pets will be revamped eventually.

The shading on this Kora is absolutely LOVELY. And the eyes are TOO DIE FOR. But. Yesbut. It. Just. Um. Doesn't seem to fit all together. I don't know why. Hm.
The body seems a bit... small, and the legs seem a bit... short. And the head (most likely the shape and/or size... O_o) seems a bit strange.. out of place... or something. o-o
But it truely is very nice. <3 votes Old

I like it. Especially the shading. For some reason, I think the legs are a little short, but that may be just my eyes.

But, I am curious. What about all those other pets that had a pending revamp? When are you going to work on them? You know, like the Escalade and Torrent? I think they need revamps more than the Kora does, really.

I like the new one. I really, really do. The shading is awesome, totally awesome.

Buuuutttttttttttttttt...the old one looked more...mythical? Magical? This one just looks...alienated. I liked the floaty-driftyness of the old one, it had so much...personality. The pose it's in now...I don't know...the felineness just sort of kills the uniqueness. Before it looked like a cute little...thing? Now it looks like a robot kitty with four blue tails and extra-terrestrial eyes.

The art really is beautiful, and the Kora does need a little revamping. I love the shading so much...I have no idea which one to vote for. chews on nails

I'll vote old. I really (REALLY) never liked Koras, but I think that this revamp lost at least 85% of the personality of the pet.

And in my opinion it /doesn't/ need a mouth. What's wrong with no-mouted pets? Maybe Koras have secret abilities to absorb their food, advanced metabolism or something. Who knows...

So, that's my opinion. Listen to everyone's suggestions here and change it, most likely everyone will adore it, then. <333

(did anyone here play Parasite Eve II? Remember the horrid camel/dog-like ANMCs? Yup. Look at their face. Then look to this revamp's face. I found this resemblance quite amusing, ahem.)

I prefer the old one because the new kora has almost no expression in it's face. Giving it a very creepy look. The position of the new kora also loses that magical feeling that the old one had.

It's the creepiest thing ever! Don't ruin my lovely Kora! The face looks like a porcelain doll, the pose is static, the shading makes it look like it's made of plastic and the tails now look like a sea creature's tentacles. Please just leave it as it is, this looks horrible.

I agree with angelembryo...other species need updates/chibis more than the kora. But I must admit, the artwork is BEAUTIFUL. Luff the addition of the little mouth and the new pose and clean lines/shading and all. The eyes look so bright and curious now. ^^
I have a question...does anyone remember the kora design that was on the Subeta T-Shirts way back when? That might be a good one to go with if you're going to change it. (Oh, and whatever happened with those shirts? I always meant to get a few...were they scrapped?) >_<

Still I had to go with the old one. When I first saw the Kora I fell in love with it the way it is and still do love it. And I will still love it if it is revamped...but touch the chibi and DIE! bares teeth

It's wonderfully similar to the old kora, but the other one looks more childish, and cuter!

And I prefer the old, floating pose, because it seems much more mystical, and magical! ^^

Really, as long as the Chibi Kora isn't changed (at least too much... it could use a little reshading, maybe), I'm fine with this revamp. The Kora is so pretty, and the revamp didn't change that. <33

I like the old one's pose better.. the coloring on the new one is nice, though. It sounds weird, but I don't like the neck on the new one...

I just realised, if you look at the old Kora's tails, there's no "line" between them, they look like they're kind of... merged?

This one actually surprised me. The new one looks very beautiful, it REALLY does. The body anatomy is PERFECTLY Kora and the shading, wow. It's the face that doesn't scream "perfectly Kora." I was actually thinking of transforming my Torrey into a Kora, but now the face bothers me, whyyyyy? ;0; Perhaps the eyes need to be enlarged, or something about the muzzle... >_o

And... and... KORAS NEED TO FLOAT MYSTERIOUSLY. That's what adds that Kora "spunk" to them. xD They make me think of hyper-active Vaporeons. It IS very well-drawn, but I think the face needs to be more like the old Kora, just slightly... worked on. :3

I agree with pretty much everyone else - it lacks the sprite-like, light-as-air charm of the old Kora, the pose it too static and dull, and the face looks too strangely humanlike. And I also didn't really think the Kora needed a revamp in the first place. Neither did the Magnus or Canis... true, pets like that could use a little touching up, but there are other pets that NEED revamps first. Like the Cadogre... and what happened to the Escalade?

Anyway, staying on the Kora topic... I voted old. If the Kora needs anything at all, it's smoother lineart and maybe updated shading - but not this. The pose and features were just fine as they were. Beautiful artwork though, Waffles!

And actually, the flowy tail can pass..It's just something about the ears that seems they're being pulled upward by string from the ceiling. The fatter base of each tail strand is definately a keeper.

The lineart and shading of this one are gorgeous, no doubt. And I highly appreciate that this is nearly just the original Kora in another pose. However, I agree with previous posts pointing out that while the Kora's appendages still look flowy, the body is stiff. It looks disjointed rather than just the character of the Kora.

I personally think the head should be wider, like the old one, but I like how the heart shape of the old one's face was toned down. I think the Kora does need updated lines and shading and have it's face altered to suit the goal to have pet's emotions be ambiguous (the eyes on the new kora are wonderous), but I think this redraw needs to be tweaked.

Ooooh, nononooo!! The old Kora is JUST FINE! It's cute, lovable and PERFECT!
The new one looks like a person trapped in a little animal body, and it looks plastic too. It doesn't even look magical. It's losing its cute personality.

Nothing personal, it has wonderful shading etc, but I think I'm sticking with the old one. This pose a bit more static, and the old one looks fine to me, even if it does have a bit less shading.

If this revamp -does- win however, I'd really appreciate if the Graveyard Kora was -not- changed, thanks... ^^;
