And I loved the trivia, once I had solved it, but while solving it, I might have uttered a grumble that incuded the words "too hard" and "nigh on impossible".

Well, I think I found easier ways to figure out some stuff.

If you read Miriam's profile, she mentions that she has one daugther who is a member of subeta. If you look her up, she mentions that she is 40. Then, use the clue about the year of the dog. ^^

And Moon later changed her profile and put her age there. xD

As far as the shared birthday, I knew. My birthday is only 3 days from theirs, and I happened to be in the Shoutbox one day when they were talking about it. The info is currently on Moon's lookup, but either it wasn't there when I worked this out, or I was just having a moment of blindness at the time.

I'd like to add though, that I really did enjoy the previous trivia, despite the difficulty, because of what I learnt about the admins that I disregarded before. It felt good to be a little more familiarized with you guys.

And also, I think maybe a little explanation of what you do with these number codes would help, because I haven't got a clue... @-@ Like many others it seems.

The second oldest I figured had to be DebiLee, who shares a birthday with Moonfighter666. (They were the only shared staff birthdays I knew of.)

Maybe I am an idiot but I didnt know they shared the same birthday did it say it somewhere or did you just know?

That was the only part I didnt have so I just guessed but if it was something you just had to /know/ then that trivia was really unfair

There were no exact age to begin with so I don't know how, except by luck, people could've gotten this one.

Here's how I worked it out (in case anyone is wondering):

Miriam2204 is the oldest, and she is of a grandmothery level of age. On her look-up, she mentions having a 15 year old grandson. Now, from the year of the dog clue, we know her age has to be a multiple of 12 (12, 24, 36, 48, 60, etc.). She can't possibly be 48 or under because having a 15 year old grandson would mean that both her and her daughter had to have children at 13. That's highly unlikely. (You get this by subtracting 15 from 48 and dividing by 2 for an average first-childbearing age for mother and daughter.) Age 60 would put childbearing at 22.5 years, and 72 puts childbearing at 28.5 years. Well, being nearly 30 at the birth of their first child for both is possible, but not as likely, in my opinion, as 23. So I gave Miriam an age of 60.

The second oldest I figured had to be DebiLee, who shares a birthday with Moonfighter666. (They were the only shared staff birthdays I knew of.) I knew Debilee was in her 40s. I wasn't sure about Moon's age, but I thought she was around the age of 20. (Actually, I thought she was 24, but I found that couldn't be true if the answer was an integer, ie a whole number.) So Debilee was assigned an age of 48. Moonfighter666 was given a variable m because I really didn't know how old she was.

This makes our equation 60-48+m = 12+m

Reading Debilee's lookup yeilded her dog count, which is 3. Putting this in the equation gives us: (12+m)/3 = 4+(m/3)

Keith is 16 or 17, I knew, but I wasn't entirely sure which one. So I added this in: 4+(m/3)+16 = 20+(m/3) (+1?)

Debilee's usernumber is 13. Adding this in gives us: 13+20+(m/3) (+1?) = 33+(m/3) (+1?)

For the nextstep, there are 4 admins. So we need a number divisible by 4 that seems reasonable. Possible results that would come out evenly are 36, 40, 44, 48, 52, etc. That would put possible results for (m/3) at 2-3, 6-7, 10-11, 14-15, & 18-19. Now we stick these in our equation ad see what we see. (m/3)=2or3 | 3*(m/3)=2or3*3 | m=6or9. Not a very good chance that Moon is 6 or 9. The pictures in her and her good friend's album make it certain this is not the answer. So doing the same thing with 6-7 yeilds an age of 18-21, and this is a good possibility. Let's log that away, and look at the next possibility. The possible 10-11 puts Moon's age at 30-33. That's not very likely. In her picture, she does not look 30. Further answers will yeild ages even more preposterous (42-45 and 54-57). It's obvious that our answer here is 18-20.

So, plugging that in, we get 33+(18or21/3) (+1?) = 33+(6or7) (+1?) = 39or40 (+1?) We need a number divisible by 4, so obviously, our answer this stage should be 40. Now divide by 4 to get 10.

The cost to heal a pet 1 HP is 10 sP, so subtract that out to get: 10-10 = 0. This is our answer.

Nnnnnngh. I can't find any items in which the last three letters are the same. And since it says nothing about decoding the numbers after working our what letters they are (and since I'm assuming that all '7's can only be replaced by one letter), I can only assume that SubetaDB is wrong.

I much preferred the Google ones, because even though people cheated through the forums etc., there are very few people who try trivia anymore because of the difficulty.

OK: Now I'm really angry - I was 1 piece of information away from cracking the last one, I wasn't in yesterday to work on it, and now you've changed it!? I'm afraid I agree with what Del said on the last one: That's it for me. I'm tired of working on mind-bending trivias, just to have them changed when I've nearly got there. Finito.

sometimes i wonder how we are supposed to understand what the trivia setters are thinking about, just by looking at a string of numbers.

they are so many ways to decipher something. i still very much prefer the previous versions of trivias, when it seems much more trivia-like.

but then again, i shall try my best for this one.

Mistygou - same here, I read somewhere that debilee was 48, BUT I wrote down my calculations for both, and when i typed in the answer.. I typed in '1' from my other sheet (where i was saying 36) !
