So, good news/bad news time. Good news: You've all been doing a great job swatting those mini gelatins! There are only around 147,000 of them left, which is... well, it's fewer than we started with. Bad news: In all the chaos, I didn't hear a Hydragellos sneaking up on us and now it's out there sliming up Subeta! (I don't know how none of you sighted people noticed a humongous three-headed gelatin monster menacingly approaching, but now is not the time for blame.)

Of course my first instinct as Subeta's bravest and most formidable warrior was to lean forward and run directly through the monster with my arms outstretched behind me (for the extra speed, you know), killing it instantly, but I just had this armor cleaned and I've also been told I need to learn to be more of a team player. Therefore, I will graciously allow you to band together to, if not defeat the monster, at least annoy it enough that it leaves Subeta.

At the speed it's moving, the Hydragellos should take until the end of the day on Sunday to make its way out of Subeta. Try to cut it down to size before then! I'll keep track of the damage you deal to the beast (which you'll also be able to check for yourself very soon) and once Subeta is safe again, I'll make sure you're rewarded! I'd say 15 million damage should earn you a Hydragellos Maniacal Core*, personally carved from the beast by yours truly. If you can't quite hit that mark, I'm sure I can find some other prizes for you. Good luck!

15 mil is a lot. Even taking into account the training I've done since the last war, that's still a lot more battles, a lot more healing. Luckily I already have a core, because I don't think I'll make it this time.

idk if I'm reading this wrong but it would be GREAT to see the amount of damage your pet has done listed somewhere while battling! or is this about overall damage of everyone combined?

Gonna give it a crack, but... I kinda don't get why Subeta keeps forcing grind-heavy events when prettymuch the whole userbase is over 18, with jobs, families, responsibilities and everything inbetween. :'| Or maybe it's just me being bored of grinding through the same old events.

My battle pet is T4, so I’m only doing ~215 damage per battle (when it doesn’t just get absorbed) lol... But that’s, uh, better than nothing, I guess? :’D

Sweet :o! I appreciate the way the cores are going out this time by using a set cumulative point score that we can see and work towards. This feels far more fair and less stressful than the old system. It's still going to be hella difficult but with an end in sight it might just be doable.

My poor little pet. It manages to make about 350 damage and then it's ko. Then I drag it up to the healer, just to get it beaten up again. I think Kani just hates this enemy ^^'

I want to farm for all the lower prizes, once I'm done with 15 mil with main pet. Can we still get multiples of the other prizes? If so, is the goal still 2.5 mil?

Very much looking forward to being able to see our damage totals! Until then I'll just sit here wishing there were a way to see both my pet's health and their damage dealt at the same time. The scrolling is killer. D: /fights blindly

: i made a mistake T_T the damage you deal is in the column where your weapons are shown ... which makes more sense, if you think about it..... x.x and all this time i calculated how much damage hydragellos caused me DX ok, i'll show myself out. you still have to scroll, and we still have to wait for the official numbers -_-

after you attack the opponent, there are these columns in which you can read which weapons you used and which weapons the opponent used. if you scroll, at the bottom it says how much damage you managed to deal (in the weapon column of the opponent) or you received (in your weapon column). if you put the numbers in a spreadsheet, you can have an idea of your progress until staff makes the option available for us. i hope this was clear enough...

3000 damage in 2 battles?? this will take forever and a day... T6 and lately i was lazy with training :( i guess my weapons are also not strong enough... u.u

unless someone is actually calculating how much damage they do each fight, we don't know how much our respective pets are doing. all we know, is to get the core, we need to deal 15mil damage.

I’m so confused.. everyone is stating how much damage was done but I’m not seeing anything other than a message that says I lost to hydragello and that’s it. No statement about how much damage was dealt (Goldilocks is T10)

oh and sorry for double ping, but I guess they'll release the other gelatins, it's just a thing to give us more time to defeat the hydra (and it'll take less time in the last wave of gelatins, because the war used to take a lot of time)

Mine is 7.5k-ish, I think. And the mini achievement is too much for me, I guess... maybe in 2025 lol I'm looking forward to complete the other achievements since they have less tiers and I already got halfway them in the past year(s).

@ everyone questioning the in-between gellies, there's new loot in the item directory so it looks like they're probably coming later. I think they just wanted to give us almost a week to fight the big boi for the core without dragging out the gelly war an extra week

(oh, that was confusing. I mean, it's cummulative, but like, for each person, so if you deal 15k of dmg each battle, you'll take 1k battles to reach the core mark)

Yeah - I'm using the Healer and she's like...9800-ish for me right now haha. I'm trying to knock out the mini achievement but I have far to go and I don't have time to do 2500 battles for both of them + the other gelatins (if they ever even appear).
