Thanks to staff/artists for rolling these out, and for listening and acting when folks expressed wishes for more pride month activity! And thanks for being on the ball and quickly removing crummy comments as well, it's very much noticed and appreciated.

had an amazing idea I'm gonna echo cause LETTING IT BE TRANSFORMABLE TO SWITCH HANDS YES (possibly also switch to huge versions?) I love transformable items, they're like little surprises cause it's hard to know what might transform beforehand.

Also seconding what said about needing new sashes to match the new flags! And a reiteration of the fact that they need a revamp for their extremely thick line art and the fact that the rainbow flag doesn't have the actual colors of the flag on it

And since no one took me up on my offer yet, reminder that you are free to message me/comment me if you can't afford all the flags you need right now, cause I have a bunch of quest points and this is a good cause. (thanks staff for making sure they're cheap!)

I am unsure exactly how the haters here missed that subeta is mostly inhabited by people who identify either in these categories or who identify as something not recognized here. I find it amusing that the haters play on a site where the owner himself is gay and quite proud of it but they don't like what the flags stand for. How do some of you sleep at night, let alone look at yourself in the mirror?

the labrys flag is a different, older lesbian flag with the lavender color and labrys symbolizing lesbianism and lesbian strength respectively, and the black triangle to honor/remember jewish lesbians killed during the holocaust. a number of older organizations use it but it hasn't been as popular recently (like, within the past ~5-10 years?) due to being co-opted by transmisogynists, so it's nice to see it being brought back more in non-transmisogynist use!

Thanks for the pride flags! I am not sure where I land on the spectrum, it is not in my nature to pick labels so I usually just end up waving the rainbow one if anything haha. Love all the options, they all look so good in a bunch together don't they?

I think, if they where candy, the pansexual pride flag would be the tastiest. Thoughts?

We live in a world where anything not straight is automatically made sexual, hence your consenting adult comment. It's offensive to me that gay couples can't hold hands in public for fear of getting assaulted, and it happens a lot despite it maybe not happening where you live. Straight couples are always shown in media holding hands, kissing, and literally everything a relationship entails. LGBT+ people are not so fortunate. We are censored and told we are gross when we should be able to show affection just as everyone else does. It's not our problem that straight people are obsessed with gay sex lives, it really makes them the perverts. I don't go around obsessing/thinking about all the sex straight people are having, it's just absurd.

In summary, LGBT+ people just want to hold hands and be able to live in the world like everyone else; to get equality we have to protest and show ourselves. It's not going to change if we are just passive and do nothing. That's how it was in the past and now look at the strides in rights that we have since Pride started. We still have a very long way to go but pride will always exist as long as there are people attacking us for just being who we are.

Since I just got a nasty comment from someone here, I put my anger into making a very rainbow HA. :) I'll continue to wave flags and be out and proud. Every time someone tries to silence me I'll just get louder.

Pride isn't about "personal and private matters," it's about fortitude in the face of adversity. Society loves to mistreat people that are different, but we carry on with our heads held high and refuse to be shamed for who we love or how we were born. That's what all the "flag waving" is about. Subeta is very LGBT+ friendly; there are plenty of us in the user base and even on staff. If this bothers you, well, you're free to leave I guess? shrug
