So whatever gets the most votes is guaranteed to make it into the group as our collective choice. But if it's really close between two items or something seems super popular, it may or may not be more likely to be picked by staff because they can see what else is popular besides just The Winner, if that makes sense

I did an entry for the contest and didn't make it to the pool. I hope I won't sound too harsh, but I would have enjoy to see a little message feedback on my submission to let me know what wasn't good about it? I mean, was it the whole idea that didn't fit the theme of the contest, or did I miss any technical mistake...

I spend a lot of time this weekend to finish my entry in time, and this cold "You have 0 items in the contest" just make me sad. I am not a child, and I can understand "why" my entry wasn't selected if someone take the time to explain it. However, as an artist I feel really hurt and ignored. It's like if my hard work doesn't deserve any concideration at all.

However, I like a lot of the selected entries, and I will post an other comment later to congratulate the artists who did them when I would feel better.

Just want to chime in and say how AMAZING all of these look, and it was soooo hard??? To chose??? I kinda feel bad voting for three because it means NOT voting for so many other great items :,( but yeah, wow, so much talent, thank you for the hard work ♥

This is hard!! While I DO love a lot of the wears, I put my votes on eyes/lips because they’re amazing and it’s also because no one is allowed to make eyes and lips.

The wears can be resubmitted on the artists custom made threads, but eyes and lips.... we NEVER get custom made face items (eyes, lips, nose ect...)

ok wait im reading comments now and for some reason i was under the impression that staff was selecting their items ahead of time and that users would pick from what was left after that as Our Favorite?? not 'well ur vote may sway ours [[;' sort of deal?? like..... tbh... at that point why are we voting if yall have your Top Picks already? what happens if user favorite is something staff has already chosen??

I think the entries that made it to this point are those that met the CW submission standards/however staff decided when it comes to facial features and things not allowed to be submitted as CWs.

The staff picks are also coming out of this set of items after user voting is finished (and 5 of those will be facial features in case that affects anyone's voting). confirmed this farther down the page

This is such a hard decision. So many very talented people on this site. I adore the dress and the pretty eyes are so hard to decide upon. Wish they all could win :)

I submitted an entry and it didn't make it into the pool, and while there's a lot to vote on I suspect there are many that didn't make the cut. What we're seeing are the top of the bunch beyond the ones that were already picked by the staff for guaranteed places.

Personally I made a point to vote for 3 of the eyes, on the basis that many of the other items, while good looking, could easily be resubmitted as actual CWs and still make it on site. The eyes and lips, though? We only get very scant opportunities to have custom ones of those.

Lots of great art on display, though! Super eager to see the winners!

Hmm. I'll be the downer... I'm not really 'inspired' by many of these. I liked one of the closed eyes one the best, but I can't remember what the other two I voted for were. This is absolutely NOT based on the artists, because damn... Y'all did amazing! It just doesn't give me oomph, but maybe in different colors they will.

Sometimes I hate the fact that some items appear so beautiful as an item themselves and then on the avatar is just a pair of lame eyebrows. This is why I have trust issues. Anyway, the moon-crown thing is my absolute favorite item in a long time and will be extremely disappointed if it doesn't win.

i dont understand why people are ignoring the eyes and lips as this is the only time users can submit eyes/mouths. we can submit clothing at any time, of course people are going to jump on their seldom opportunity to get eyes they want.
