I hate to be a downer, but I struggled to choose 3 items... Quite frankly the designs just aren't that interesting. The facial features (as others have mentioned) are very similar to already on-site items and none of them offer anything special for the holiday theme. The clothing items are nicer but still pretty boring in all honesty! Previous CW competitions like this have had significantly nicer items come from them and I personally thought the masquerade would churn out some really snazzy designs, but apparently not.

there really are some good ones. More than a few made me sit up and beg for this to be a real item so i can wear it or put in my gallery to stare and sigh at. Sigh......

This was literally my second attempt at creating CWs ever and I can't believe two of my item got in. It means so much to me, artistic confidence boosted to max Q_Q GOOD JOB EVERYBODY, it's super hard to pick just 3!!!!

It was easy for me to pick the three since a LOT of these face items are VERY similar to onsite items and honestly none of the wearables spoke to me. It will be interesting to see what wins and if I'm gonna be hanging onto my trinkets or not.

Honestly, I'm really disappointed with how similar and generic so many of the facial options are. I know people will say "but this is the only time we can make custom eyes and mouths!!" but honestly, I'd much rather have something that actually fits the holiday and its aesthetic than Generic Closed Eyes Number 56. I'm not trying to discourage any of the artists who submitted those choices, but I really would love to see more variety in terms of face items to vote for.

On the other hand, the actual clothing items that were submitted are awesome!! I'm especially fond of all the Rift-themed stuff and that old timey cartoon mask. Please, for the love of all that is good in this world, give me the cartoon mask.

I do not care for or need face stuff, so that drastically cut down on the options! haha. Other than that, the three of the six (or so) things I like probably are not going to win, but I voted for them anyway~

I really hope everything there will become oficial, and we're just picking the 3 ones we'll get for free~

And I wish my fog item had been accepted, but with 2 other of my submissions accepted and sooooo many good submissions from other people to pick from, I guess I can't complain. xD

...But getting more fog and filter items in the future would be quite nice :D

Does "Toggle Vote" mean you voted for it? This method is confusing - but I knew I had to vote for that '20s-'30s toon mask. I imagine if this wins I'm gonna be seeing a lot of Bendy HAs...

I will be very sad if those items don't make it, I NEED THEM. I like a few of the lips and mouths too but I feel like I could live without them because none of them scream at me like the wearables I picked... I think I should prepare myself for disappointment now tho :c

I understand that a) I'm not an artist and b ) there are so many items on Subeta it has to be hard to be truly original. But at least one of these (And I suspect two, but i can't find the item right now) are ... very VERY similar to on-site official items.

I feel you. I was so excited that we got extra time on the contest because I thought my first entry was a bit rubbish and the extension meant I had the time to create something better. Guess which of the two made it through. Although, at this stage, I'm pretty amazed that anything I produced has actually passed muster and got this far. I just like participating!

staff hasn't chosen winners officially yet! the point of that comment is that we can see the backend voting numbers, and if something (or more than one something!) is hugely popular but doesn't make first place, we can see that. :)
