2017 has been rough. My favorite cousin committed suicide, I lost two precious kitty cats. Tomorrow is a funeral for my husband's cheery uncle who fell and hit his head and died. Oh and my uncle just got diagnosed with cancer. Did I miss anything? And my cousin's suicide was... hanging .. so the suicides in the news with same have just.. oh it just hurts. :'(

The timing of this news post is spooky because I've been doing very badly with depression as of late.
i'm so baffled by this. people, reach out. even if it feels impossible to articulate. say something, anything. to anyone able to listen, doesn't have to be a parent or family member for that matter. if the right people know, it won't all be for naught. i know how hard it can be, but i've also learned that i have to be open about how far out i am. even if it sounds ugly, violent, or irrational as it comes out. sometimes that helps lessen the burden, even if it's just for a minute.

suicide sucks, it touch our life a few years ago my daughters friend hung himself at the age of 16....depression needs to be addressed and not taken lightly....R.I.P. Chester:(

Thank you for doing this, Subeta Staff. It's so hard to believe that this sort of thing can happen to someone you've admired for so long. Suicide, depression, mental illness in general...these sort of things aren't given enough awareness and understanding in our society today. Maybe if they were we could have helped him and all the others who've suffered...before it was too late.
My heart goes out to his family, his band mates and to everyone who looked up to and loved his music. He will be deeply missed. ?
