Quest-A-Thon Start!

We hope you’re ready because our Quest-A-Thon has started! Remember you’ll have until 11:59pm on Sunday June 18th to complete 750,000 quests with your fellow users! If this goal is completed, everyone that has participated will receive 1 new pet slot, the forum title “has some fries to go with that shake”, and 5 bathhouse tokens! Participation means completing at least one quest.

Completing quests with the following quest givers will count towards the goal: Carl, Cinthia, Mori or Nori, Alexander, Maleria, Pete, Quentin, Saggitarius, Sarah, and The Wizard. Regular users can complete 10 quests per quest giver and Gold Account users can complete 15 quests.

574,751 total quests done thus far. We have one more day... and it's Father's Day. This means tomorrow we have to get: 175,249 quests completed at minimum.

If we don't make it at least I made a decent chunk of sP off of it I guess lol

This achievement has been like this for me for months so I figured it was either retired or inactive.

I'm doing everything I can to get my quests done each day to help out the quest-a-thon. Pet slots are expensive so to be granted a chance to earn one for doing a set amount of quests a day - go for it. I'm sure there will be other fun site events for the fashion avatars, other site currencies, ect so everyone gets a fair chance. This time around it's for the pets so can we all please come together in peace and do what we can for this event pretty please ❤. I support all parts of the site from the pets to the fashion avatars to the beautifully draw items. There is something for everyone to do on here that is what makes the site so much fun to hang out at :).

Wait, what? We are not complaining we just want to point out that maybe it would motivate people to have a bigger range of choice when it comes to prizes? It's a community challenge - not a first person challenge. Unless we all come together, this isn't happening.

Is the massive family achievement still active? Minimum for it is 20 pets and it can go as high as 40 pets. I currently have 19 pets and it registers 0/20. If it wasn't for these fun quest competitions I would never have earned several of the pet spots I have now. I enjoy these kind of competitions and thank the staff of Subeta for the chance to be a part of one again. I take part for the fun of it win or lose ^_^. Plus I enjoy being part of a team as well ❤.

Hmm, but we usually end up managing to do it in time and usually by a landslide. I hope we still make it, but perhaps this is yet another good reason to implement a choice of prizes to encourage users who don't care about pet slots to also participate.

I am super excited to get another pet slot. I love pets, it's my favorite thing to do on here even if I don't do a whole lot. Although I do agree that a wider range of prizes for these events would be great for those users who like to focus on other things on this site. :)

People are allowed to express their opinions on the prizes. Not everyone is into pet slots. If doing every single quest wasn't my regular daily routine, the prizes wouldn't encourage me to participate at all, and I'm not alone in feeling that way - considering it's a bit of a time investment to do every quest every day, yeah, I'd say they might want to look into a wider variety of prizes as an incentive for those of us who don't give a hoot about pets (or have as many pets as they want already).

Thanks for the end-of-day update, I love seeing the progress numbers! :D So far, we're right on schedule! We need about 107k quests done each day in order to reach 750k after 7 days. So we needed 214k at the end of day 2, and we had almost 217k. It's very close, but if everyone keeps doing them the same as the first 2 days, we got this!

The 10/15 quests mentioned in the news post mean that each quest giver gives out 10 quests per day if you don't have a gold account, and 15 if you do. :)

I love pets and pet slots, but I'm honestly here for avatars more than anything else anymore. Aside from GaiaOnline (which has a crap economy and their wardrobe search is isn't very nice, but they have a ton of pose change items), Subeta has the coolest avatars, in my opinion! :D

Not everyone needs a ton of pets. Heck, I'm trying to give three away. Only having or wanting a few does not mean someone doesn't like them or shouldn't be on a petsite.

We have plans for some really high price items in the quest shops ni the future, like higher than the seasonal ones! If we do something 150+ I wouldn’t want to make them only there for like a month, because some people have trouble just getting the seasonal things and they’re like 50-80

Some people are okay with having just a few pets! They could be battlers, spotlight winners, etc! Not everyone wants a billion food pets like me :X

I'm doing what I can to help out getting quests done :). It's storming off and on where I live with flash flood watch in place until late tonight. Finally got back online while in between storm rain bands ^^. Storms are going to hang around all week - looks likt storm season is here to stay for awhile but I'm grateful for it. Count me in to help all I can during the quest-a-thon even if I have to be here during times I would normally be sleeping to help everyone taking part with the quest totals ❤. Keep going kind subeta friends we can do this if we all work together as a team like we have done many times before in the past ^^.

I don't want to sound rude but ..what are you doing here if you don't like pets ? It is still a virtual pet site after all just saying. I'm happy with the prizes. Always nice to have a pet slot left. :-)
