Hallo, Liebchens! It has been a wild year for me here at the brewery. Taking care of Oatmeal has had me turning over ze new leaf, so to say. I could not quite bring myself to be working new meat recipes as I have in past years. Which is gud, because I am running out of places to keep all this sausage!

I am doing things a little differently now, much less of ze meat sausage und much more of ze plants! But I am still brewing beer und ales, of course. I am starting a new club, Gunter’s Selbstgebraute - my home brew club. There will be a new brew every month, all special, all made by me. Join my club to receive alerts when my new brew is up, und if you join during Alegarten, you will receive some extra gifts too. Otherwise, I am hoping to see you stop in from time to time in between petting my goat.

My Geschenkboutique, Food Haus and Gute Ale shop are back this year, and staying open all through Alegarten with unlimited stock - but for 5 days only! I’ll be closing up shop at 11:59pm on October 9th so I can focus on my home brew club and on Oatmeal until next Alegarten. Happy drinking!

Joining the brew club during Alegarten gets you some cool items for signing up and alerts for when the brew changes. :)

I'm kinda wondering just why there is a 3 minute wait between buying items from the shop? I mean, it doesn't seem there is a limited stock of items so I don't quite get why the long wait. Perhaps someone can enlighten me?

I am so laughing at the vegetarian ale - according to the 1516 Bavarian law, the only ingredients that could be used in the production of beer were water, barley and hops.

We won't be adding more items for the shops (we might've only had a few new things, but we brought back older items as well that haven't had much on site), but like pointed out - it is only the first day!

Ah, interesting new idea! But I am sad that there are not many new things to wear or eat or...something. Guess we'll see how it goes! I AM ever so glad that I don't have to worry about missing the time when certain parts of the shop are open. Whew. Thank you! :)

The amount of new items is really lazy :/ I hope more are going to be added. The addition of a shop that sells one item a month doesn't exactly make up for a whole holiday. Super disappointing.

Morostide won’t lack any spooky goodness, don’t worry. Like I said, Gunter is focusing on expanding his empire of ale to last more than just five days. He’s a vegan now, you can’t blame him for not wanting to do a bunch of new meat recipes anymore!

We’ve reordered the shop so that the new items are at top. Gunter is focusing more on his brew of the month, which will happen all year, and Oatmeal because quite frankly he’s had enough of sausages! He's brought back some older Alegarten items in each shop, though!

Are there no new items in Geschenkboutique? Is the Gunter's Selbstgebraute the only new thing?

Alegarten seem very watered down this year. (pun probably intended) Or maybe I'm just remember wrong that there were other things to keep me active this time last year.

Yes, there are. The shops are ordered by price, so you'll have to check out the item directory for the new items. There aren't a lot, but there are a few for food and clothes :)
