Hallo, Liebchens! It has been a wild year for me here at the brewery. Taking care of Oatmeal has had me turning over ze new leaf, so to say. I could not quite bring myself to be working new meat recipes as I have in past years. Which is gud, because I am running out of places to keep all this sausage!

I am doing things a little differently now, much less of ze meat sausage und much more of ze plants! But I am still brewing beer und ales, of course. I am starting a new club, Gunter’s Selbstgebraute - my home brew club. There will be a new brew every month, all special, all made by me. Join my club to receive alerts when my new brew is up, und if you join during Alegarten, you will receive some extra gifts too. Otherwise, I am hoping to see you stop in from time to time in between petting my goat.

My Geschenkboutique, Food Haus and Gute Ale shop are back this year, and staying open all through Alegarten with unlimited stock - but for 5 days only! I’ll be closing up shop at 11:59pm on October 9th so I can focus on my home brew club and on Oatmeal until next Alegarten. Happy drinking!

A german NPC who comes around during a holiday about Beer and sausage....and he's vegan.....way to go the tumblr route.....I literally just finished watching an episode of Chopped Juinior on food network with an annoying little shaved headed, vegan, feminist tumblr brat and it was hard not to cringe when she took the sloppy joe ingredient and threw the meat in the trash then "proudly" stated "I'm gonna make vegan stuff!" Ugh and now it's on here too....might as well shave the side of his head and put him in plaid too. Complete the look

After all the cool new pirate items for Keelhauliday this is incredibly disappointing :/ Alegarten is the perfect holiday for a nice little sP sink and yet we barely got a handful of new items.

So that HUGE guy with his HUGE beard (it's an amazing beard), who lives with a goat and looks extremely friendly and/or drunk is now a vegan. Because of his goat. And he has a beer club. Maybe because his goat demanded one so more people would come by to confess their drunken sorrows for him to gobble up. That is strange. I like it.

Also yay for no rotation during the day. I can finally buy books anytime plus don't have to look at beer and Würstchen if I don't want to. <3

Why are people saying vegan propaganda?? I was actually excited to see veggie and vegan items this year because I am veggie on my way to being vegan shortly. Idt this is a bad thing at all.

I'm happy there's not going to be a load of new items this year. My poor bank don't have to suffer and it gives people a chance to actually catch up and buy everything they want without having to worry about buying 30+ new items XD.

Well said!! Subeta is very diverse and inclusive, that's one reason I love it so much! It's high time we got more vegan items. :D

Hmm.. I must say, I'm a bit shocked that there are only 13 new items in total this year o.O Not that I'm complaining mind you, I can use my sP for other stuff I wanted, just surprising is all!

Okay thanks ^_^ I'm only really concerned about the shops since it's such a huge wall to look at (and I already bought an old item by mistake because I forgot to account search it beforehand lol)

I've signed up for the club and bought this month's brew already though so it looks like in a few minutes I'll be all set for the shop ^_^

Yes, there are 9 new items in the shop. :) There are three items for the brew of the month if you sign up during alegarten. And of course the brew for this month. It's just the first day though, some Alegarten (or oatmeal) themed things might pop up elsewhere! It's always been five days?

Of COURSE they have to complain! It's not like there aren't tons of meat related items all over the site, it's so horrible they have to add a few vegan/vegetarian items for player diversity for them to be FORCED to look at and buy! They can't possibly not look at or avoid buying them, they FORCE themselves into their inventory like some kind of email bomb virus! Meh but seriously, to the people whining, subeta is for all kinds of players, not just to cater to the majority, get over it. It's not like the vegan items are lecturing you or shoving animal cruelty photos in your face to guilt you, like a PETA article.

Delay in purchases so people can't autorefresh/buy the servers to death (or accidentally buy more than one item if they only wanted one - double purchases was a problem in the past and timers usually corrects that) and also so people can't just hoard hundreds of items and make the prices of reselling go through the floor.

When you join the brew club, you get a few items for joining during Alegarten. You’ll get alerts each month when a new brew is available (which you purchase). Gunter has to make his money somehow! There are some new items. :) Do you have the items in your inventory (Gunters Vetan Hops, Home Brew Kit, and Gunters Home Brew Sticker)? If so, you’re signed up. :) The Brewery has always had a timer between purchases. I can look into making it much less, like a few seconds between like Millionaire Center. :)

Phew... I'm glad I only wanted a handful of the items in the shop. I've already had as much as I can take of that 3 minute timer between buying items... Just way too much time and frustration to sit and try to focus and remember to get everything. Eghhh.

In previous years, when and I moved over items from the Holiday shop to the brewery, we tried to keep things with higher rarity a higher price too? That's why some older items from the same set are priced differently.
