Aww, I was hoping to fight Merana! Ah well, next year I guess. Hope we go spelunking in Darkside or mountain climbing in Arctic Frost next!
Might I suggest for the 'Pedia that all Subetan plots are historically recorded in summary for players who are newer/missed out on past plots? This way when next year's plot recalls back to the Saheric plot, players both old and new will understand what has happened beforehand.
This doesn't feel like much of an ending... but more so a beginning. WTF is Merana going to do with her new found freedom? Kind of disappointed that it stopped here, and I hope that it will be picked up sooner rather than later. So many questions were raised during this plot and we got absolutely no answers. I'm sure I'm not the only person somewhat disappointed by that. :(
I'm so glad to hear that there will be a way to continue making hydrus pets soon!

- right now, you can't. But we're not just going to take away hydrus forever!
You can’t do hydrus right this second, but we have plans for how to bring it back. Merena was just set free, obviously she’s not too concerned making hdyrus pets at this very moment! <3

Before I even clicked on the link to read other's comments I was thinking--it certainly was anti-climatic. Now I see I'm not the only one who thinks so. I hope I don't get pinged by someone who tells me THEIR opinion of what I'm saying, and why they think mine is somehow wrong. I only ping people to say NICE things, and do not appreciate being pinged so that someone can "tell me off." (And believe me, it HAS happened here, as well as elsewhere). I've been a doormat to other's chitty remarks for decades, been there and done that IRL, no thank you, NO more.
. . . said it best, that was very well put, in MY opinion. Gheez. I'm tired. I loved the puzzles in the last few days but I thought there was going to be SOMETHING more in the temple (more than a huge battle challenge) and I'm not a big battler, so that was just OK.
Well maybe the BIG reveal will be some awesome prizes for all of our hard work. Books, books and more books--bring me books, please.
I hope we can keep having some fun games for Team Gold, the ones that and (and a few others) have come up with so far have been great!! :) Keeping peoples' spirits up, yes!

Uh oh... Matlal didn't appear in that final dialogue... Why is he not saying anything at all? I mean even Elwood chimed in that one sentence right there...
I think I would have been fine with the ending if we had had this dialogue up at the temple instead of after a 24 hour wait. Building suspense for this part was a let down, and that could have been avoided. Imagine:
We run outside of the temple after the crystal debacle, and as soon as we get outside the island suddenly stops shaking and the storm clears up. Someone's like "OH NO, LOOK" and we see Merana jet skiing away in the distance or something, and we're like "oh crap what have we done." Then we get this dialogue that wraps up the plot, and it's over right away.
Building suspense just to have them say the plot ended yesterday doesn't really work?
I'm happy with the plot overall though, and I'm so glad we finally addressed Khaleesi's whole sacrificial thing because I've always been curious about how things turned out after Amy's death. :D
... that was really anticlimactic.

Please let us learn more about the mysterious map sender and Butterface in the next plot. XD
Besides that, these crystals seem very mysterious, one resurrects a lost pet and the other releases a trapped witch. I'm starting to think that temples like this exist all over subeta. Wonder what the next crystal does...
This was a GREAT plot, but I feel like it could've been better. I feel like letting out the sea witch was the real climax of the plot, and I wish we could have gradually ended the plot instead of abruptly finishing right after Merana's release o: All that was needed way maybe 1 - 2 more "plot days," I feel. Even leaving on a slight cliffhanger would be fine - like finding a clue in the temple to ponder over, or a biiiig island celebration for their freedom from Merana o3o

Where do I sign up to be Merana's pet?
Fun plot! I liked there being something for everybody...fighting, restocking, vending and games. I'm hoping that some of the games stick around to play later! I really enjoyed getting the new details and backgrounds on the island characters and can't wait to see the rewards. The next step in the Merana story seems very promising, will be a challenge readying my combat pet for when that rolls around. All in all, a fun time!
So does this mean that we can't make Hydrus pets for the time being?

Rather anti-climatic, but on the bright side, the team efforts brought lots of people together and new friends were made. I saw some amazing sharing and caring on our board and a big shout out to for all you put into this to make things a bit easier for us.
sure, a bit anticlimactic, but I'm kind of glad this was an anticlimactic plot. plus, i have a feeling well be seeing more of merana in the future. but for now, i DO feel a little more relieved knowing we freed the islanders from dealing with her even if its on a "for now" basis. Kahaleitzli's reaction brought a lot of emotion out of me for that one :') if she causes trouble in the future, we'll probably be able to handle her ;P if we sealed her once, we can do it again. just make sure its on some unmanned asteroid in space or something this time, shinwa.

I mean...doing it was fun...but well...why did we rush down the mountain? headscratch Guess I thought that build up was going somewhere? I mean - thank you staff, having something to participate in was REALLY fun but I guess I expected some kinda closure or like...something? xD I am grateful for the plot but also a little...perplexed?
Can we join Team Merana next time because...I mean I know she's bad and all but...Like look at her....I'd join ...for science.
It does feel kind of anti-climactic though. We just spent the past 24 hours rushing to the shore to face Merana or something, and it felt like you were building suspense for the final part of the plot.
And then we get here and it's just like "huh, she's gone. thanks for the help. bye." The storm clears, the island stops shaking, and we all just kind of walk away like nothing happened.
That's it?
Sweet, I love a happy ending. Merana is free. 😍 Now we just wait to see the blessing she'll bestow upon Subeta 😈

I loved the plot and am sorry you cut it shorter than planned.
That was rather...cliffhangerish. I guess we shall wait and see when the Sea Witch appears. Maybe she has been wrongly blamed and will simply just go off to hang out somewhere and be all peaceful and stuff.
Oh who am I kidding, she is so getting revenge and murdering some people up in here when she appears.
But seriously, I am happy to hear we are keeping that gold. HECK YEAH.
Also, does this mean no more hyrdus pets? //Has one, and wonders if she is now a collector's edition pet// lol

It was interesting overall, but just.. resolution Subeta! Sometimes it's ok! We handle shopkeeper and game NPCs poofing, you can toss a few more meaningful ones in occasionally :p
A cliffhanger would also be a lot more appealingly unsatisfying if it weren't used as frequently.
