Hello, my very good friends. I’ve heard that there is an exciting opportunity for adventure going on out there. I’d love to join up, but I don’t want to show up empty handed! I imagine those already on the trail could use a change of clothes, or a new pair of nice dry shoes.

Before I leave to join, I’d love to accept any donations of new or lightly used <a href=/shop.php?shopid=11>clothes and <a href=/shop.php?shopid=34>shoes to take with me to whichever team becomes my new family on the road. And hey, let’s make this fun: I will join whichever team helps to arrange the most donations.

Okay something seriously needs to be done about the 502's/504's and blank pages that when you check if its up or not it says its up and clearly its not. Both teams are going crazy trying to have fun and win this thing and its not as much fun or paying off those efforts if the lag/downtime is working against you.

Sephora, Ocean Depths is like, right over there, how about I just give you all my tokens and you can get as many clothes and shoes as you want? I mean maybe you'll get a bunch of random blue stuff as well but I'm sure you won't mind.

I did some donating this time around. Had some stuff in my Legacy Hoard that still needed to be gone through.

Just wish there was a donate ALL button or something. The constant click donate click donate is rather annoying.

AUGH why is there still no "donate all" button? Why am I being encouraged to strain the site by middle-clicking to open 50 donation tabs at once? Fucking hell! I really want to help my team but this is nearly making me have violent urges

Team Steele here, so I say this not out of frustration, but yeah I hope future NPCs have more varied requirements? Donation drives will just be tedious and annoying. It may also level the playing field a bit if we give other opportunities for success.

(As far as the 502s, I came to peace a long time ago with the fact that that's just part of life on Subeta, lol)

everybody's acting like this is a foregone conclusion but remember last time team gold was actually in the lead for a while and we got up to over 150,000 items per team so there's still a ways to go, and still time for the tables to turn.

I don't know why people get so grumpy about the donation drives. We get lots of other things during the trail portion and these drives combat inflation, which is good for the long-term economic health of the site.

What I don't understand is why we're still getting so many errors and blank pages - any news on that? I get that it's a high load when these things kick off, but I'm wondering whether the complications in fixing it are due to the complex nature of the issue(s) or because the team doesn't know what the issue(s) is/are.

By the way to buy stuff for a donate drive is not so my cup of tea. Too much errors 502's, you know? Why not by the 3rth event with a next NPC character solve an enigma or puzzle?

i have to back up what and a few others said - as someone on Steele, ten percent seems like an awfully big boost! it really just sort of sounds unfair :/ i appreciate the opportunity to get that advantage for your team, but i think that might really just decide the "winner" of the plot here and now. maybe something closer to a five-seven percent boost would work out better? i'm not good with math, so idk if that'd still be too big or conversely if it'd be too small, but. the point of this is to have fun! if an entire team feels like there's no chance of keeping up, morale just goes right down the drain.

As I said, Gold has realized this challenge is worthless. That's why the donations are so slow.

For me, I donated the stuff I removed from my shop, so the other team won't get it. Yeah, I'm being really salty about this, but I'm so done with this.

Maybe the team that gets the OP ability woman should lose the option for speed-boost.

This is actually a very good point. People who need/want sP would've joined Team Gold, so it's save to assume they care about their sP more than the Team Steele people and would not be willing to spend many millions donating. I picked Team Steele, because I imagined the adventuring bonus would help you win and I don't care about more sP (I got tons). I just wanted to be on the winning team for once. /has always lost so far So yes, this would explain why, despite Team Gold having slightly more members, they are not winning the donation drives.

Also, it's not like the losers of each leg get nothing. They still get the plot points they earned individually for completing their tasks, they just miss out on the bonuses (whatever that will be).

So please don't get too discouraged, there will still be prizes for everyone in the end. <3

I'm happy with how things are going, its just a bit of fun. Yes I'm on team Steele, but Gold team, don't forget you were triumphant the first day of the trail race. I was able to donate over 1000 items for Wesley from my stash (with a lot of dark muttering about the Curse of a Thousand White Pages) but clothing and shoes are not something I've been hoarding so I'll not be much help this time and I'm too slow at restocking! Don't let it stress you, guys. We always get lovely prizes no matter if we don't win. And I'll be very glad to see the back of that Survival Game!

Uhhh staff, is the lag screwing with trades? Because I tried to accept an offer and now my trade is gone and so is the item, but I still haven't gotten what I was trading for? And it's been like 10 minutes?

As someone from Team Steele, I do feel like a 10% speed boost is pretty high.

But to everyone getting mad at us for winning, do you know how hard we were working all afternoon to get our lead? We were less than 1% ahead of Team Gold when they fixed the glitch, and we managed to pull together to defeat our obstacles, use the speed boosts, and get ahead again. I'm not saying that your team didn't also work hard, but please don't assume that we won this leg "just because"

As far as the donations go, Saggi actually has more members than us anyway so try getting more people to donate if they can. Although I don't like item drives very much either...

It never fails that people on the team that is behind get upset at how the plot is run. Having been on the loosing team and the winning team, I can tell you... that's just how it goes peeps... Play to win and buck up if you loose... it's all part of the fun.

This is only the second NPC 'released' and the first one with a 'good' skill (Wesley is nice and all, but you can actively play the food gathering game to get food, so the stores depleting more slowly is pretty meh if you stand back and think about it), so I don't really understand why people are already throwing in the towel?

To avoid misunderstandings I mean with Team Gold get slightly more they gave at the end compare with they gave at the beginning of the event by the donation event by Weasly, whatever team Steel gave.
