Hello, my very good friends. I’ve heard that there is an exciting opportunity for adventure going on out there. I’d love to join up, but I don’t want to show up empty handed! I imagine those already on the trail could use a change of clothes, or a new pair of nice dry shoes.

Before I leave to join, I’d love to accept any donations of new or lightly used <a href=/shop.php?shopid=11>clothes and <a href=/shop.php?shopid=34>shoes to take with me to whichever team becomes my new family on the road. May be not every extra event will become a donation drive. It could be also there will come an event where both teams has to co-operate.

Ok, so which cheap items should I start hoarding now to prepare for the next NPC item drive? Icy Goods items and candy for Aspen, spell ingredients and seeds for Laure, or perhaps bikinis and jewelry for Skitters, who will join the party with his own "complete everything two days before the other team" boost?

Also, in my case, a lot of clothes that I want to donate are not being accepted. As in they don't even show up as an option to donate. Don't understand why to be honest

I think it's a bit ironic.. I joined team Saggi exactly because I'm a greedy sloth who wants MORE money, not less. I will donate a bit from vending but honestly, I'm way too greedy to spent a lot of money, lol.

Even without all the laggs and 502s', it'd still be Monday morning and I won't be able to donate ANY items for like, 12+ hours and it feels bad to let the team down ... I hope we have enough active members in the right timezone ^^;

Besides that, I somehow hoped for info from the staff about the server problems and the bugs. After the forced waiting for Team Gold yesterday, a news like "sorry, Saggi needed a timeout" would have been nice!

Team Gold, please don't loose your spirit ❤️ Maybe there will be another NPC that's not won over another item drive, or we lose the race but win whatsever on the mountain (my bets are on a dragon and then Saggi could be useful! xD). And we can still walk over the finish line 20 minutes late with a coffee to go and the right attitude :D FOR GOLD AND GLORY! :3

Wow, a +10% speed boost is HUGE. This entire event has been pretty neck and neck, I'm genuinely not sure who's going to win Sephora even if Team Gold is leading now.

Honestly...I was frustrated with the lag and errors...but they seem to have gotten better...did my donating...taking a break..hand is sore :) good job to both teams...:)

and I agree with Mel I do think these help the economy...but I still hate donation drives -.-

The only thing I dislike about the donation drives are the lag and error problems, but I don't mind it overall. I actually like this whole event overall. Lol thats the reason I've made a couple comments about the issues, because I love this site and the current event, and I want to actually be able to be active when I can without many issues. Donation drives can become tedious, though, and a lot of people probably get bored with doing nothing but clicking over and over. Personally I think its the easiest thing to do, even if not the most engaging.

...am I the only one that likes donation drives? It makes restocking super competitive for a while, it's fun. Site instability doesn't really bother me because I just tab out and go do something else for a minute or so.

RE: why does Gold keep getting beaten?

I joined Gold expecting to lose (Blake is the more attractive option in both looks and personality, and sP is extremely easy to come by on this site) so this isn't a huge concern for me. However, the reason I joined this team - other than silly loyalty to Saggitarius as a questgiver - is because the description made it sound like the "lower maintenance" team that would require less active play. More frequent gold payouts, but supplies run out sooner = requires shorter spurts of participation, so maybe I can check in once an hour or so on my phone and still be okay. I'm starting a new job tomorrow and have no idea what my schedule will be like, so it seemed like the safer bet.

If many others on the team followed similar logic, maybe that could explain the "fewer active members" angle. Anyway, I'm havin' fun.

Not trying to sound salty here but I'm gonna. Sorry in advance for that.

I thought this was a plot but it's turning more an more into just a "donate your hoard to win" thing and that saddens me. There is a reason I sat out of the snowman/snowball war, I don't like donation drives. Seems to me if you don't hoard/don't have SP hoarded to buy things to donate, there is no way you can win because the benefits from having NPCs (which apparently only join you if you donate items so yay for that too -_-) are not going to let you catch up/win no matter how hard you work otherwise. So what's the point then?

I've legit been pulling all nighters for this "plot" and now I don't think it's worth it anymore. If the whole thing was gonna be decided by how many items you donate/how much SP you have to spend...why make it a plot in the first place? Should have just been a donation drive, that way at least some of us would not have gotten our hopes at a chance at winning. -_-

My goodness it would be more fun if the site didn't kick me out every time I try to do something tonight. Trying to quest and buy quest items is impossible right now. I donated over 900 items in the last donation drive that took hours on my slower internet connection. I don't have anything to donate here this time around unless I can vend for a few things if the site will let me that is ^_^.

mhmm... I love events where you have to chose teams, because the team boards are fun. I hate events with teams, because there will always be drama. I feel how a lot of this could be discouraging, especially the glitched obstacle thing team gold had earlier today. It must have sucked to just sit there, unable to do anything about it, especially for anyone who has only a few hours to play subeta and would not get a chance to participate during that time! I'm glad they got pushed quite a bit after that (seriously, the gap was really close), I'm also glad, we still managed to win. I don't think that win was unfair in any way. I'm really biased about the item drive situation. It's a great idea to get NPCs to join for boosts. I'm not sure how much impact the speed boost will have on the other teams winning chance. shrugs However I hate that it always have to be item drives. Yes, we want huge item sinks, to get rid of devalued crap, but it gets really old, and it's no fun at all. The snowman contest and the new shop/gallery system were supposed to keep people from hoarding so much. But how on earth are events like this going to ever prevent people from hoarding? Giving all those old items without use something to do with or asking for thousands of items from a small range of things will make people hoard even more. Not to speak of lag and errors and frustration.

That said I still hope for my team to win, because I want nice plot prizes. They are always so pretty. . But in the end I'd hope that prizes are similar for both teams. Even if you loose during an event like this, people will have worked their asses off for their team and that deserves well at least respect? I say give a cool title to the "loosers" of any plot to make up for the fact their hard work did not pay off.
