Snowman Contest Start!

The competition is on!

If you haven’t joined a team, that’s okay. You’ll be able to cheer from the sidelines and donate to a communal pile of goods and receive Aspen’s ice skin at the end!

For those of you on a team, are you ready? You can now donate snowballs as well as any items from Get Mugged, Icy Goods, and The Bake Stop! You don’t have to get them from the actual shop, vending them is fine too.

Just to recap our amazing prizes: for participating you’ll receive a prize from your team, a pet slot, and a lovely ice skin from Aspen! The winning team will get a forum title and a special item, as well as a cool new trophy.

Get to know your team and support each other on the forums.

Scoring will start showing tomorrow once we start getting some donation results in.

The competition will be ending at 6:00pm this Friday. Prizes will go out after the competition ends. Good luck to all teams and have fun!

Oh these snowmen weren't there a minute ago. Looks like one could be a dinosaur, one looks like an elephant. Team mischief - not sure what they are doing. Perhaps a boat.

Is it me, or is the shops taking even longer than normal to restock. One is saying last restock 41 minutes. I get they are empty because everyone is grabbing items, but you'd think they'd restock more for this event :/

While it's not the same as being able to donate multiple items at once, I'm using Control click to have the donated items open in another tab. I can get through dozens of items quite quickly - the only thing that takes time is waiting for them to finish loading before exiting out of the tab. :P

Ohh! This is a fun twist on an RS war! :) I'm wondering though...is there a way to see how many items we each donated for personal tracking? I had 100 of an item and was refreshing to keep donating that same thing. It seemed like it was not enough refreshes to get all 100 donated but they disappeared. I'm nervous the site ate them and would feel better if I at least could see how many items I donated so I know if it's going through or not.

To donate multiple items at once, look for the free snaplinks addon (It allows you to highlight and open multiple links at once). I've mentioned it before in these comments and the SB. It's quite effective.

Oh wow, so it's on. I'm just glad I stashed a bunch of snowballs in my vault because I won't be buying or throwing any as long as they are 5 times the normal price, nope. Good luck to all. Looking forward to getting a pet slot. :)
