You didn't fix the arm line going nearly all the way into the spine. Canine legs DON'T do that. Always the easiest fix that subeta doesn't do. Uhhg.

Traditionally, coyotes and vulpines in general are described as tricksters, to make up for their scrawnier, tinier frame. They also tend to be more of the loner type, and will often cower or flee from the much larger, more intimidating wolf pack.
Much better for the muzzle and I love the shading! For the people who can't see the 2nd wing, it's behind his head. Good job adapting to the feedback, artist!
Ooh, just thought of a headcanon to explain why montres look so much like kumi: because montres want to BE like kumi!
The Kumos is the most popular pet on-site, plus the site's mascot, and the montre is a total wolfaboo for the kumos and wants to be just as, or even more, popular. So the coyote-like montre evolved into looking more and more like its larger, popular wolf-like cousin, the Kumos.

I'm not thrilled with it. Although the art is amazing and it looks adorable, I just really loved the old version. It was so slim and mysterious. I'm sure I'll get used to it, though, and I can't wait to see how this changes the differently-posed Montres!
I am curious as to why the Montre and Kumos don't always have mouths, but you know what? I'm just happy these lil guys got an update :)
Truthfully I love it. It's whole head in general looks better than the first potential revamp, especially its snout. I do like the old pose, but honestly I think this one is just as great. The shading and everything looks fantastic and now I kind of want another Montre!

Still really Kumos-like, to me. An improvement on the first revamp pic, but still not quite a Montre feel. Really nice art, though.

this might be the only revamp I'm not crazy about..... it is a definite improvement over the original proposed revamp but... I dunno, it kind of feels shoehorned in??? if that makes any sense... both of my montres are special colors, so this won't really affect me any shrug I'm glad people like it though! I definitely don't want to rain on anyone's parade.
Looks nice! I've added it to my list of what I may change Shizen to. Just not sure what color would suit him. :) Only thing I don't like is it looks like it has a bobblehead.

As a lover of montres and an owner of one, I really hope this revamp will grow on me because it's still not doing it for me. I really liked the old montre's pose; it looked more hunched over and I liked that. This montre still looks so upright and stiff. The shading on it is very nice but it's just not the same.

I'm hoping to paint my Montre Harvest someday (pretty please...) but till then I'm happy with Common now, looks much better than before :)
