Coming Soon to the Antique Shop: Reading Drive Prizes

A big shipment is coming to the Antique Shop soon! On October 1st all of the Reading Drive prizes will be added to the Antique Shop. Don't worry, the prices will be much more reasonable than those pricy pirate and expensive island items were.

You will have until 11:59pm on September 30th to spend your Reading Drive points. However, this time you will not be able to cash out remaining points after the conversion. So spend your points now, or they'll be gone forever!

If you have any remaining pirate or islander points to convert, you'll also need to do this by September 30th, as this option will disappear and any remaining points will be deleted then, too.

I would rather know the prices first then spending my points on something that may not be worth it at all since it will be 'given away' compared to the effort/sP it took to get the points

I feel like this is really short notice to use/sell our RD things/points, it's not exactly easy deciding where to use 1000+ points, and it doesn't help that the suggestion is pricing will be a LOT lower? u__u;;

So there is never going to be a reading drive anymore? I really liked those events. Where you had to work for your prizes and points. Now you just need to follow the plot :(

I'm not positive, but I feel like I have more points than I would have gotten in one drive. I know there was some discussion before the last drive, but it may have been about books, not points, resetting.

Regardless, the points resetting or not is a small part of it. The RD being a long time ago is more of a reason to be concerned about less active users, not less. And the Pirate/Islander war was even longer ago and it was treated with more care.

Something is wrong with the system cause I had 9 points left and about the twit sticker, cost me 1 point. Now I have zero points. I should have 8 left. I should go and add up everything I about now and see if I am missing more points with this glitch..

Apparently it did glitch but went through. Still concerning to read when clicking things! Especially soon to be done away with rare things that you can't regain your points for and only have so many days to have things sorted out if there is a problem. Glad it went through though

Well I TRIED to spend my one point >.>

It's been ages but it does say I gained 1 point so I had been hoping. Not sure if it's a glitch or my own misreading ^^;

I saw the note about pricing, and I hope these will indeed be affordable. I was happy to see the Pirate/Islanders stuff rereleased, but then I saw the 75,000,0000 SP price tag for a generic little flower to put on your head. NOPE.

I don't remember if I converted my pirate points to sp or not, and retired currencies are no longer on the vault page. Is there a way I can check whether or not I have already converted mine?

Also, thanks for the heads up on the reading drive points. Now comes the hard part: decisions.
