Thank you! I actually thought it held up well when it was shrunk down. It doesn't look quite as good on a darker HA, though still decent, but on a pale one the thin lines/veins still give the effect, I think. Smaller Jeepers Creepers.

Those are rather cool. I would've voted for the Jeepers Creepers and I'm usually more into cutesy ones. I think when shrunk down to normal size, the fine lines don't tend to show up so they may need to be a bit thicker or something, but that would be a gorgeous makeup!

- There are a lot of recolors because during the last CW competition (during peka-boo) the staff only picked one or so color to be in voting, whereas this time they basically picked all recolors, or most. I submitted an item and it's recolor but that was only because I expected them to pick one not both, so it seems like they were less selective with recolors this time around. It may be also because they wanted to fill in some of the spaces up if some of the items that didn't get accepted were not up to par. But that only makes voting easier since if you like a style you can pick your favorite color of it and then have the rest of your votes for other styles.

Thanks for giving us the chance to change our votes. I'm now trying to choose things I'm likely to use more than once, even though I think some of the other artwork is outstanding.
You need to understand that we can't submit eyes or mouths outside of these completions, so naturally we want to try our hands at them ;)

a lot of these are nice but some dont particularly seem up to scratch, and I know for a fact I've seen at least ten of these on tumblr before today. and despite the CW entry page saying that variety is the spice of life, there's a couple of items that are basically an item and its recolour? seems kind of weird to me

Well.. Hate to see that a couple items got picked more than once due to recolors... But that said, I voted, and purposely chose that Sexy Man Ultimate Grooming Kit so my guy friends have something.. They get so few items... Great choices though, and congrats to all of the artists!!

- All the entries there are ones that would've been accepted if they were submitted as CWs; the staff filtered out ones that needed more work
- Yeah unfortunately that's what it means. Though don't get discouraged, if you pay to submit it as a CW, you would get some feedback on what needs to be improved (up to 10 submissions) so you can rework it to get it approved

Tho, I wish the entries were broken up into Valentine and Zombie categories and we had five votes for each. I also hope facial features don't sweep the whole contest but they are pretty dominant and pretty excellent; half of my votes were for face stuff anyway. :D
There isn't an approval/denial process like in CW submissions but I figure they still deny things that are not CW grade quality, since I've been told a lot of people submitted something like just a pixel or something of the sort for participation prizes, so staff had to weed out some of the submissions. I believe that's why they said submit your best work because anything that wouldn't be acceptable as CW quality wouldn't make it to voting. If they did it the other way, you would have to weed through like hundreds of submissions and someone could have theoretically submitted nothing more than a pixel and if it made to voting and they had a lot of friends they could've been able to get it to win and then it would be an item on site that is useless.
This is just my theory as to why it was done this way, so I don't mean to start anything up for those reading this!

Did we really need like... multiples of the same eyes in three different colors? All these choices are solid, so congrats the the finalists, but that is kind of ridiculous. I didn't even enter anything and i'm annoyed on behalf of people whose stuff didn't make it in favor of all thee eye recolors. :/
