Some of us don't have every second of our lives to spend on here, a whole day of 502 errors can really screw you up, whether you planned ahead or not.
This better be extended ;a; Ive been trying for 3 hours to finish and 502 every page.

I don't want to rain n anyone's Pity Parade, but "busy life" or "didn't get to til now..." are not Subeta's problems.
I find it hard to feel sorry for so many people who have had a week... and a full 24hrs... AND time earlier today to finish their things. A lot of people finished earlier.
While I sympathize, really I do, I've been there.... Asking for an extension when THIS HAPPENS EVERY EVENT is ludicrous. The site has problems. You learn, you plan, you get over it. :(

Great trying to complete things for this and keep getting f*&$% Gateway Errors an extension as suggest would be a good gesture from Subeta.
Aww.. please extend it for another day... With the bad gateways that keep cropping up on the site it is really frustrating to complete the remainder of the quests. I also have a busy school life too. sigh

Hope we get one or two extra days... didn't manage to finish the plot... and I wasn't able to take my books out of the shop and to the reading drive till now... Too much timeouts... ;_;
Tired of getting bad gateways errors.. it's not just this event though.. it's been going on for a while..
OMGOSH the lag is so bad i'm never going to get all my books turned in :(
I'm glad I managed to get my quests done and finish up the scavenger hunt in the little window of time earlier today between 502 breakouts...
I highly suggest this is extended for another day or so. Give people a chance to make up what they've lost today due to the 502 errors.

I was hoping you would get to do that :).
I'm all finished my quests and the scavenger hunt, plus I've handed in all the books I'm going to hand in. Still, I'm also curious as to whether or not the staff will allow any extra time, as requested by SOOO many people. I do wish they would address the issue.
But then I wonder...those of you asking for an extra day, you know an extra day means extra quests...IF they allow the time, are you also gonna get mad when those of us who HAVE already finished everything get to do extra quests as well?
we're gonna get another day because of the constant lag and downtime, right?

Of course, Subeta experiences the most lag it's endured in months, on the last day of the reading drive. I've only managed to do a WHOLE whopping 13/30 quests today. I give up.
Gave up already on the quests for today but I hope i get enough points c: 3 more books and I'd have gotten the 200 achievement Ee, next time for sure
I've been trying to do quests all fucking day long....and I've managed a whole 11. I feel like I"m being robbed of my last chance at points by these constant errors.
Im really bummed Ive posted in a few places and even in a ticket about how its not letting me do the quest D: Im on day 5, and got a 502 error. Then even with getting what I needed, it didnt give the next note. So Im stuck...with 3 hours left before the event ends. So upset D:

I thought the reading drive would be awesome! enter lag and site errors ...never have I been so wrong. at least I got some of the quests before the issues hit....
The lag and errors have been torment but i've finished up, can't wait to see what kind of goodies Archie has waiting for us. :)

I wish I could be on this site for more than 30 seconds at a time! Are you fucking kidding me with these lags and 502s? I really hope I'm able to finish the scavenger hunt before then end of the night, but who knows?
Thanks for the heads up and for also making the quests more frequent for the hunt. I missed this event so trying to do it all at once and having to wait hours between was stressing me out.
Can't wait in till this event is over. I have been trying off and on for hours to get some library quests done. Doesn't look like I will make it. I liked the little quests, but the lag and error messages in the last few days have not been fun. I didn't even want to do this event much after the change, but I can't even do regular stuff now or the special quests this weekend (I really like the computer ones ok?) the site is so slow. I hope all you guys that invested and spent tons of sp and csc love your prizes! I am content with what little points I have.
I'm just glad I did the Library Quests earlier than this announcement was published. The error messages are very unfortunate. I just barely managed finishing the scavenger plot (which was so much fun by the way) without slamming the laptop shut and giving up on that last achievement completely. And I won't even think about hunting down any missing books for the reading drive, I can't imagine how long that would take. I gotta go to bed now so I won't be able to see the end of it, but I would be VERY happy about an extension as compensation for these past few hours.
I've had Error 502's all evening, it's pretty impossible to do this scavenger hunt with them :/ Would it be possible to extend it by another day as I don't really want to stay up ridiculously late (I live in the UK) trying to complete it :c Even posting this has taken ages to actually work.

I can't do library quests with the 502 error keeps showing up...I can't even purchase books from the Book Nook
How are we suppose to finish the reading drive when all these darn cloudflare messages popping up all over the place?!

All of these errors are ridiculous. Can't even pull anymore books from one of my shops to add to the reading drive in case I missed some. Can't quickstock my shop with extra books to sell. I wish this would get fixed before the event is over. Hope you give us an extra day since the site is laggy and broken.
I give up. I need to go to bed. I can load one page in 20. I. Give. Up. So annoyed I won't get to my goal points but hey. Hopefully I'll be able to afford something I want.
It is impossible to finish Alexanders quests. These Cloud errors make me want to cry. I have been trying to get the last page for 2 hours now and still am getting nowhere :/
Well, it's pretty impossible to do anything on the site right now... So lets hope this gets fixed before the RD ends.
The site is literally unusable for me right now. It takes about 6 tries to get any page to work.
For those of you complaining that you had 'no warning' that the RD would be ending so soon:
From the News on Sept 2nd (Last Monday):
"Archie will open up his shop in one week, so you better earn all the points you can before then!"
Personally I took that to mean Archie would open up his shop on Monday so we'd have until the end of Sunday to finish everything. Which appears to be the case. So put your big girl/boy panties on and stop complaining that you had no warning.
If you absolutely have to complain about something (as some people do), complain about the 502 errors because they're a pain.
Now, I'm off to try and buy a few last minute books to turn in.
The sites beginning to get better now that people are logging off and we aren't flooded. I'm surprised we can't hold 1.4k members on site now but I still don't think the event needs to be extended. To anybody who hasn't started turning in their books by now, you've had all week to do them. As for the quests I'm a little more sympathetic about them being really slow as for the scavenger hunters that won't be able to finish, but turning in books could have been spread out over the whole week.
I don't know how I should finish one single quest with these disgusting 502 errors all the time.
