Game of the Day: Stealth Bomber!

Hello again, EPICon fans!

Now, I'm sure you've all heard about the unfortunate conflict that complicated things at the last EPICon. It seems like those two boys have been able to forgive and forget, but the EPICon staff still isn't excited to be the venue for another rumble this year.

Still, there's nothing wrong with a bit of healthy competition, is there? And competitions are best when winning gets you fabulous prizes! That's why we have decided to feature a different game for each day of the convention, and give you a chance to win EPICon Prize Points. These points will be able to be used at the end of the convention in our exclusive prize shop!

The featured game today is a blast from the past, the card game Stealth Bomber! While more popular on Atebus, I am sure you Subetans can still kick some serious butt! You can earn up to 10 points for trying your very best at this old-school game. Additionally, if you manage to win, you can earn an additional 10 bonus points!

There was a bit in the scoring that we couldn't fully test ahead of release, which, wouldn't you know it, had an error in it. Don't worry, though, games finished before that was patched will still count toward your EPICon points!

The lag I am experiencing playing this game is out of control. I haven't even been able to finish one round. Guess this set of achievements isn't for me!

Unfortunately the lags still seem to be there and it's already 10:30pm here so I really hope that we'll get some more time to play Stealth Bomber, I really want that book.

Well that sucks. Clicks card an gets an error Clicks back, notices the new card makes a pair and clicks it "Invalid pair !" Clicks back and the card is gone Thanks =D

i already had a blank hand yet it told me to pick from someone elses hand. is that supposed to happen because whenever i have played this you win when you are out of cards.

If anyone figures out the point system, I would love to know. haha I thought we got 10 points for winning. I've played four times, won three times, and currently have four points. o.o

I'll try to explain as simply as I can how the scoring works (at least for this game). You can get 1 point per game played, up to 10 points. You can get an additional point for every win, up to 10 points. For a grand total of 20 points.

Don't ask me anything else, because that's all I know :P

A bit confuzzled, must say. Is it 10 points total? 10 points for 10 wins and 10 points for 10 losses? Or...something else? scratching head

The points are displayed on the EPICon page. http://subeta.net/epicon.php However, I'm curious about the point system, too. I won a game, and it says 1 - 1 points. Clarification, please?

I don't think it's up to 10 wins, because the thing isn't showing up right for me if it is. Last time I checked I'd played 10 times and won 8. It still said 10 and 10.

That's 25 wins for me. So yay! I got the book! However, my points page says:

Required Score: play

10 Required Score: win

So does that mean we only get EPICon points for one play and one win? Staff, I know you're really busy and all, but some clarification on this would be greatly appreciated!

I hope this game goes on tomorrow as well, inbetween all the lag i can barely play and it's already late at night here. sigh also I don't get if we're supposed to win 10 times for max score, or 25.
