The new art for the Warador is of excellent quality and much better than the current version. :) However, I am not fond of it overall. The hat looks odd to me, the way it is drawn gives it the appearance of each tassel curving in towards the face, as thought it were wired, rather than simply hanging. The face is what bugs me most though.
Old: I am cute but I am also grumpy and ready to whack you with my staff if you bug me! New: I am creepy and grumpy, and I suppose I'll whack you with this staff if you cross me. Or maybe I'll just glare you to death.
The normal eye in particular looks kind of bulge-y and there is a little too much white showing IMHO - bit of a 1000 yard stare there. Also, the nose being so upturned and there being more distance between the mouth and the nose greatly decreases the cute factor of the new version. I do really like the cape though! The little guy reminds me of a chibi Sith Lord . . . xD

Boy, I was just looking at the chais thinking they needed some real help. Good job on those. I'm not completely sold on the warador. The new art is beautiful, but I don't think it looks like a warador...

Oh my... Warador was my first pet when I joined Subeta, and I still have mine. Please, for the pets sake, keep his hat the way it was, leave it four pointed and with the skull on it. you could also add the feathers in some way. Please...I beg you...

I've always been one of the warador's biggest fans and i was honestly pretty scared of their inevitable revamp, but WOW, i really like this! :D All the little details are wonderful...and i actually like the hat and the way it appears to be a hood now, and has actual jingle bells instead of just dangly things. I wonder what will be done for all the non-standard poses. One of my favorite things about waradors is their different expressions (some of them have big crazy toothy grins, some just a creepy little smirk)...as long as they keep those, which really give them a lot of individual personality, i would be quite happy to see them all updated to this style.
Love the chai update! Not so sure on the Warador. I wish the hat still had the same plushie style look of the old one, so my vote went to the original due to that. The coloring is great though, and the clothing seems more modern.

I agree with what most people are saying about the new Warador hat...... I think if we can just change the hat to look soft and floppy like the old one, it would be perfect. Right now, it looks too hard and metallic and... weird.
I like the new warador, but like a lot are mentioning, the hat looks ... weird, more metal than soft... and the left leg/foot looks funny to me. The overall update is such a drastic improvement, don't let some minor disagreements stop the lovely from coming forth.
Oh, and I forgot. That updated chai is simply adorable!

I absolutely love a lot of the Warador's new design, particularly the shoes and cape! However, I don't like the face at all apart from the right eye (from my perspective) and the hat seems quite chunky and odd.

Neeed new Warador, I love the art! I have an OC who wears a jester hat and cape and she's apnot the nicest and I always wanted to make her a Warador but hesitated.
The new one looks great, except for the face/head. His hat doesn't look stuffed enough. It needs the stitch lines like the old one. Maybe if the face/head of the old one was pasted onto the new one..
The hat is just too chunky and the cape is a little too darth-vader-y IMHO. But compared to the old one, it wins hands down. I never really liked this species at all though.
I think the Warador's hat and... right eye I think? the normal one look a bit off, but otherwise I like it quite a bit. Make the front tassel start a bit higher/a bit smaller maybe? It really does need the revamp. Also the chai looks good!

Yes, I also like the thinner hat tails of the old hat better. While I appreciate that the new art is much better... if this change does go through, I will be looking for some other species for Siephora. Which would make me very sad, she has been an arid warador since I got her. (Also, probably dreaming, but if revampped, can the arid stay being just black and while and not have any red like the other arids?? <3)
I really like the skull piece being moved to the neck, and the cape looks great. The new hat is a little thick in my opinion, but I like the bells. Nice improvement for sure!

the red in the hands and the staff seem to blend a lot? and the face could use a bit of touching up. And maybe a less chunk hat? I really like the new idea of it being a hood, though.

chai is super cute! i love the new warador, although the hat sort of bugs me. i wish the drooping parts looked more like drooping cloth (for example, folds beneath the bent areas) rather than a stiff hat sewn into a drooped position. otherwise it's a great turn in the right direction!
Oh god no that Warador what. No. No no no. Wow no. I mean the art is nice, and he could look more disgruntled but FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DON'T KEEP THAT HAT.
Oh my gosh, the Chai looks adorable! Much softer than the old one, but still kept the kindness that the old design had. For the Warador, I love the body, but the face looks a little too squashed for my taste. I think the head may need to be a little bigger, or have just a little more neck.
Overall I like the new warador, but I think it could use some more stitch lines to look more stuffed.
Normally I find myself very against drastic changes to pets, but OMG I actually am really happy with how the Warador looks. :) I used to dread the day that my Comedy-and-Tragedy would be stuck with updated art but OMG bring it!!!! It's so much better than I could've hoped for and the Chai is so sweet looking!!! Love these. :D
Something about the hat is really off but I can't place it, I feel like it's too fat/stuffy or something is just off about it. But otherwise I reallyyyy realllyyy love it, very rarely have I loved a revamp as much as this!

THe new warador doesn't look disgruntled enough. But I love the other changes, especially the cloak. If I could paste the old face on the new body, I think that would be awesome. Also, I think the new staff could use to be a bit thinner... or the hands to be bigger, together they just don't look right. The Chai looks lovely.
The Warador's face could use more of a touch up, and I kinda prefer the old hat, but the rest is looking freakin' fantastic!

That warador is niiiiice. I especially like the changes to the cloak and hat and the position of the skull. It seems to make more sense on the cloak. I hope this becomes a thing!

The first thing i thought of when i saw the new hat was that it reminded me of the escalade's head. Since two of my first pets were a warador and an escalade, maybe that's part of why i actually like it. XD I admit it looks rather chunky, but i have a couple of Halloween costume jester hoods that are made of stuffed fabric just like this is supposed to be and they're pretty stiff and chunky too. I could go either way as to the shape and number of the hat dangles but i do really prefer the idea of it being a hood.
