I like many aspects of the revamp, but I agree that the hat is a bit odd. Maybe A COMPROMISE would be in order?

I am a huge Warador Fan have 6 of them right now will get more when I have the space :)
Disliked Changes:
1.New Hat/Hood does not look stuff and that is the main reason I love Warador's is the Plushie look throughout. So I think changing that up to not look so normal and puffy would help :) 2.I'm not to fond of the Jungle Bell aspect on the hat. That is what they look like to me little Jingle Bells. I get why they are there :) 3.I miss the Skull on the hat even tho it's on the Cape now. 4. Think the facial expression could be meaner/grumpier :D
Liked Changes: 1.The Cape. Love the skull and layer affect. Also the checkered diamond :) 2.The Color is very much improved. Always thought the red was too red. The more Burgundy tone is a lot better. 3. I like the eyebrow area a bit better and the shape of the face. I think it would be easier to draw for a person like me learning how to draw better :) 4. Staff looks so much better.
I don't have any basic Warador's the ones I have the artwork and colors are phenomenal.
Great effort and love the Warador is getting some love now :)
General curiosity question: if, hypothetically, the Warador is revamped as is, how will that affect the special colors? Granted, most of them need to be revamped, but things like the Steamworks, Glade, and Angelic don't need to be. But changing the hat into a hood and removing the design on it would mean those colors wouldn't match the rest anymore.
The new Warador is so undeniably better, but I think the hat looks weird. It's too poofy/large.
I don't really like the new Warador's hat. I wish it were more like the old one's.
Oh wow. That Warador! That is something I'd be really interested in, and I don't even like them that much.
I like the shading on the new Warador, but something about the eyes kinda bothers me... the bell right next to the left eye kinda throws me off...
Really like the new warador but I think the old had a more menacing shiny eye! Perhaps you could make it a bit brighter again. It'd get more attention and would also give a more mysterious look I think. Other than that awesome concept! I am usually skeptical about revamps but this one is awesome!
Ohhhh man. The Warador has always been one of my favourite pets, and while I never minded the outdated art, I did wish it would get a revamp, because Subeta has developed a very nice style and I'd love to see the Warador in it. I'm so excited to see this finally happen! Also really glad the colour scheme has been adjusted; I think that was very needed.
Absolutely adore the changes to the cape-- the pattern, the frills, the skull. As for the hat, I think the hood concept is very cool, and I actually like the chunky look, but it might be better to keep it as an actual, separate hat. Overall I think I'm indifferent on that and I'd like it either way.
The one thing I would encourage adjustments on is the face. I'm totally fine with it being as is, but I do prefer the shape of the original Warador's face; if it could more closely resemble that but in better quality, that'd be very nice.
Anyway yeah! Art updates are always much appreciated. I remember loving the new Fester, another favourite, when the idea was first proposed; you guys do a nice job with major revamps, and thank you for letting us offer feedback.

Finally, the Waradors get a revamp. Kudos to the artist who combined the ruffled collar with the now checker-lined cape.

And the Warador.... I absolutely love it! It looks menacing, but the clear bells on the Jester-like hat (the old red gems on the end of the hat never made sense to me) still make it seem slightly cute ;)
I dunno... I don't really like the new Warador. One thing, and I know it may sound strange, but Waradors and Dillemas always seemed like immortal races to me, except they each have a weak-spot. Dillemas have their belly buttons, and Waradors have knots on their heads. Anyone that couldn't use fire could kill them, but not easily. Without the knot, Waradors seem overly powerful.
...Other than that, the new Warador looks kind of ugly. Although it might just be that I'm used to the old one.
I love the new warador look, except for the face. It look so squished together, all cramped.
I have to comment again because i was surprised to see a couple people say they didn't like the shade of red used on the warador revamp (that's fine; they are entitled to their opinion, of course). But i do want to say that i personally love the darker shade used on the new one. I think it is so much nicer-looking and more appropriate for this pet than that brighter shade. Everything about the colors used on the revamp is perfect, in my opinion.
I love the color scheme and the art on the new Warador. I prefer the old one's face and hat, however. For the face, the old one has a much more grumpy looking face, which I think suits the pet far better. I don't really know how to describe what I feel is wrong with the hat. :/ I actually LOVE the skull being around the neck, rather than on the hat, but I think the hat on the new Warador looks a bit awkward. I like the thinner points on the old Warador's hat.
Also, for the face, I really like how bright his left eye (it's our right, his left.. the darker, red eye) on the old Warador. It's also a bit larger on the old pet, which looks a bit better, in my opinion.
Other than that, the colors, and coloring are very nice! I've been wanting to pick up a Warador again, and this makes me even more excited to have the room to do it. XD
The chai looks amazing now, glad it still has its cuteness The new warador looks a lot better now, although I prefer that the hat to look more like the old ones. But the outfit colour is a lot better!

SUCH and improvement on the warador there. I'd be happy if it went through as it is, but if I could make some slight changes:
I'd modify the hat a bit, because like most people, I think it looks a bit odd. The middle point looks like it has a fold in the centre, and the shading on the side ones kind of suggests that they're supposed to have one too, but it doesn't really look like that; they just look really chunky, and it's hard to imagine how they're holding their shape.
I'd make the expression a little fiercer.
Other than that, it's great. Love the frilly cape collar, and I'm glad some of the excess stitching, tassels and ragged edges have been removed.
I do like the new shading on the new Warador, but I just feel like the revamp doesn't fit? I don't know, maybe it's the hat. Or the way the eyes/eyebrows(?) are done in general. Other than that, I actually like it. The shade of red used though, not too sure about that.

I don't know if I'm the only one, but the new Warador look a bit too "chibi-fied" to me! I love everything about the glacier warador and graveyard warador and was hoping that the basic one would be going slightly more into that direction artwise. I don't think it's all bad, but it's not quite there yet. I'd definitely try to keep the spikiness of the old hat and the symbol (skull/snowflake/moon/...) on it, because it was adding a lot of character to the single colours imo. And maybe make the body a tad bit smaller (so that the legs are a bit longer) to take away the whole Chibi-feel? ^_^
Not sure about the hat. Maybe if the points comng out of it were a little thinner so that it looks a little more like that hat on the old one. Other than that, I adore this update. I've always kinda wanted a warador but was put off by the out of date art. Maybe now I'll get one.
Well, since I really adore the old Warador (there are not that many ppl on subeta who really like them, I guess), I have to say that I didn´t like the new one at first glance. I read through the comments here and had some more looks at the pic.
That said, I have to agree that the rest of the body is nice. And i really LOVE the checked pattern on its cape <3 It could just be a bit more ragged and torn.
I adore both of them .u. I've been looking at getting a chai for a while so that's been sealed for me but that warador is amazing owo I love the new design so much its unreal, brilliant job!
Seems to be in the minority, but I actually really like the new Warador's face? It's exactly the same as before, just fixed... The neck ruffle is great and the skull looks so much better there than on the hat... I don't exactly mind the hat either though something might indeed be off about the center... thing.
I LOVE the new bear <3 And Warador... for me new one is much better, though I don't like it's face, maybe eyes could be bigger or something, but clothes are awesome!

Now, out of the Warador... While people dislike the hat, I actually like it, it's a better way to approach it. My sole complaint is the staff. It doesn't look metallic/plastic enough, the shading could use some more contrast. The face could use a more evil glimpse, but that's about it.
New Warador is better, but I think the eyes look a bit too puffy in the new one.

Now the Warador on the other hand.. well, let me just start off saying that almost everything about the Warador is much better. I'm loving the neck ruffles and the staff! But the face.. it looks strange. Very unpleasant shapes of the eyes, nose, etc.. And the shading seems flat on the face.
I just hope the face gets adjusted, lol. Otherwise it's another great update. c:

Overall, the new one is a great improvement from the original, and besides the first 2 points mentioned, it looks great :)
I'm loving the new warador for the most part. I think I would like to see the hat made a bit thinner, similar to the old style. It would balance out the chunky look the rest of him has quite nicely. And maybe a little more attitude in the expression would be good. The old one has just a little more to his face that makes you wonder what he's thinking which is a great element. The artwork is fantastic and overall I would welcome the update. Nicely done!

I'm going to agree with a lot of people about the face being bothersome. From the neck down he looks fabulous, but the face really looks nothing like the old one? And the hat, especially the center spike has some serious shading issues making it look less like one spike and more like two? Maybe go back to using the dashed seems? Also, not sure where his feather went, but hope it comes back. Can't wait to see where this goes, I actually think if he's tweaked some more I could see myself getting some C: ANNNNND omg the new Chai shading is frickin' so amazing idk what to do with myself.
Waradors are one of the reason I joined subeta. I really don't like that hood thing, but everything else looks great. I am just thinking that the glacier warador (my favourite) will probably need to have an update to look more like this and really I don't feel the glacier one needs it. I was hoping the common warador would get an update to look similar to the glacier one really. Just my thoughts on the matter. Otherwise I think it looks really good. I need to think more before voting on this one.
I really don't like the new Waradore's face... It looks... Bland. There's no personality. :(
I like the new Warador except for that nose. Its all I can see now, lol.
The body of the warador looks awesome, but the head area bothers me. Its nose and mouth look super weird and its expression doesn't have quite as much attitude as the old warador. Also, I'm not sure how I feel about his face paint/markings. In the old warador, they it looks more like a scar to me, like he had lost his eye which left a scar and then the freaky eye looking thing was the replacement eye. But in the newer one it looks like face paint/markings which is kinda cool, but I liked the scar look better, makes it more mysterious and I think suits the warador better. Maybe you could incorporate both? And the hat just looks...strange. Like other people have said, too chunky and just..weird-looking.
Really like the new warador. I think some minor changes would do well though- such as making the hat with four points and making him more... red. He's kinda more maroon right now, and it just doesn't have the same feel.

The new Warador is a lot nicer, but some things I'd prefer - If the staff wasn't as thick, if the points on the hat looked thinner and had more than three like the old one and if the hat wasn't attatched to the cloak, to me it makes the face look strange
Loving everything about the new Warador other than the hat and the overly thick staff. Except for the lovely new bells, the hat looks more like a mutant pompadour than a jester's cap. The overall new color scheme, especially the new cape, is wonderful. Great artwork, this guy really needed some love!
i have a couple waradors and have been looking forward to their inevitable revamp...until i saw the new version with that hat. it looks way too chunky and stiff and only has 3 points. Also, the face seems off...like the nose is smooshed up and to my left. don't get me wrong...the new art is a far cry better than the old version with fantastic shading and an amazing cape and staff...but the huge honkin hat and slightly "off" face made me vote for the original. If there had been a 3rd option that combined the look and feel of the original face/hat with the much better quality of art and the body of the revamp, i would have voted for that in a heartbeat. i'm hoping there will be a tweaked version we can vote on. the Chai looks cute and cuddly still, so i have no real commentary other than awwwwww! it's cute :)
You also forgot the ears that are like bunny rabbit ears off to the right side..
The warador is nice but still not up to site standards, please do not approve a sub par pet...
The new warador's body looks like a great revamp. I'm not convinced with the face or hat at all, though. I can't work out if each section of the hat is regular old harlequin hat style or if it's supposed to look like each section has 6/8 sides kinda like a star fruit. The shading is completely messing up perspective for me. The face looks like an afterthought.
Usually I don't like the changes but I gotta admit it's a nice one. Still don't like the pet though :/ the face and staff need some work. Love the cape
Honestly, I am very impressed with the new Warador. I like the darker tone, and the art itself is very much improved. But I do not like the new hat at all; I much prefer the four tipped, plushie styled one. If they could just keep the hat, I'd be absolutely in love with the new art. The new hat just looks too awkward for me, unfortunately.
