I agree with some others, this seems fairly lackluster. A slight chance to possibly go up to 2% interest is not exactly the most enticing effect by any means. Im sure most people will just sell the item instead. It'll probably gain more that way than by using it.

This is in addition to other planned ways to increase your interest. Obviously 2% doesn't matter, but when ti gets into 6 or 7% it makes a difference ;)
